What a great company to work with. With everything going on in this world it is so nice to find a company that actually cares about people. I didn't feel like just another number like some many make you feel these days. From the first phone call to the office to the clean up of the job, everything was great. I spoke with 3 different people. First the lady Connie made my appointment, then Meredith called back to tell me the time for the next day. Julie called to follow up with me after the repair was completed. They were all so helpful. So since I have a washer and dryer that is stacked together, they sent 2 techs out so that they would not damage my equipment or home. Which I found very thoughtful. The men came into my home - they were wearing masks and foot coverings. They went right to work on the dryer. They went over the whirlpool dryer with a fine tooth comb so to say. Both of the guys Scott and Curt were very knowledgeable, they took the time to explain everything to both my husband and I. After discussing the options with us, we decided to get the dryer repaired. Lucky for us they had the parts with them and our dryer was fixing within an hour. It was very nice to get the dryer fix, with 3 small kids we go through a lot of clothes. They made sure to clean up everything after they were done. And left behind a little goodie bag with samples of stuff for us too. Then 2 days later we received a post card in the mailing thanking us along with a coupon for our next service. Which WE WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN. I had read some other reviews and all I can say it that they were wonderful to us. Maybe other people had issues but I have to wonder if they had issues because of the product they had not with the actual repair company. MR. ONLY WISH I COULD GIVE TEN STARS !!!! THIS COMPANY ROCKS! This company is very reliable and easy to work with.  I have a rental house that needed the oven repaired. They did have a friendly person on the phone (Karen) who managed to get our appointment set for the same day. They made the process as simple as possible.  I called them to let them know the issue and gave my tenant information and number so she could schedule the appointment a convenient time for her. When the service call was complete, the technician called to let me know it was finished and the total charge.  If he would have found any surprises, he would have called for my authorization prior to completing any work.   They sent a text message letting me know that they were on the way to the appointment. They arrive at the scheduled time, and are always professional when at the residence. If you want a real professional who can work on the appliance and who really knows their stuff. ALWAYS call this company - but somebody who really wants to make you happy and comfortable - this is the place. Now my tenant is happy and I am happy with the service and price. My Kithchenaid refrigerator water dispenser stopped working. After reading reviews about Mr. Appliance, I scheduled an appointment on line. They came out on time and even texted me a picture of the technician before coming out. The first technician they sent, Jessie, was very friendly. He diagnosed the issue, ordered the necessary parts and came back a couple days later to fix it. It still wasn't working. We both agreed that it was a mystery. He was extremely apologetic and explained that I would not be charged for the part. He called for another technician, Mike, who came within a couple days. Mike figured it out and ordered parts again. He came back, and not only did he fix it, he fixed a leak the refrigerator had that we didn't know about at no extra charge. Diane, the scheduler, is also so nice. Here is what I liked about my experience: Friendly Service all around, Honest service, the job was completed timely and not left unfinished, quick response for needed parts and rescheduling, ease of scheduling appointments. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by your company. We feel completely taken advantage of. Initially, your staff quoted us a price of $393.87 during the first visit which we agreed upon. My husband generously paid 100% upfront for the scheduled service, as he trusted your company. Surprisingly, the technician only requested 50% down payment. On the day of the service, we were charged even more than the agreed amount. Had we known that the total cost would be $623.27, we would have opted to replace the stove entirely. We feel deceived by the technician. To compound matters, your company's website claims that you clean up after the job, but this was not the case. Your staff left paint scraps all over my floors from the wall damage caused during today's work. This is particularly concerning as we have a baby in the house. So happy I found this place! My washing machine was leaking...I called every place I could think of, and Mr. Appliance got me in that day! The office was beyond friendly-I LOVED the confirmation email they sent me, and the technician arrived almost exactly when they said he would! He was so professional (he even put booties on his shoes to protect my floors-which are so far gone, but it was a nice gesture!), and had the problem diagnosed within a half hour. The icing on the cake? He had the part I needed for my Samsung on his truck, and it was fixed for good within the hour! I hope I never need them again, and everything else in my house works forever, but I am programming them into my phone just in case :) read more

Things started off great. Prompt service and the tech diagnosed the problem. I was told 2-3 days for the part and it turned out to be 6 days. Not too big of a deal although we have a 3 and 1 year old and needed the refrigerator fixed. Here is the issue, the tech was out yesterday and replaced the cooling fan, we were told to wait 24 hours to make sure it was up and running. After doing so, we called them back to let them know the refrigerator still wasn't working and was told it would be 6 days before they can come back out. I asked if there was anything that can be done to get someone out and was told "sorry it's not working". I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone at all read more

My refrigerator was not working. Creve Coeur will recycle refrigerators for free but you need the coolant removed and a certified sticker placed on the refrigerator. So, my strategy was to see if it was repairable and if not, have the coolant removed. This is what I told the salesperson at Mr. Appliance. So, the repairman came out today, said the cost to repair was $650. I said I could purchase another refrigerator (for my basement) for much less and asked him to remove the coolant. He said they do not drain coolant; only repair. So, this cost me an extra $120 for him to come out and tell me that. The repairman was nice but not very knowledgeable. My appt was scheduled for the next day. I was given a reasonable time frame of 2 hours for my appt time. I was texted with a picture of my technician when he was on his way and he arrived well within the time frame I was given. The diagnostic fee went towards the work that I had done and the overall price was very reasonable. The technician, Andy Y. was knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. He answered all of my questions and seemed very honest. I was so happy with the efficient service and reasonable price I received to have my washing machine repaired. read more

The person on the phone was very helpful, they kept me informed with texts, and got a technician to me very quickly. What I really like about the texts is that they send you a picture of the technician that is coming to your business or home. I am often alone and it helped me feel safe. The technician was very nice, knowledgeable, and quick. He kept me in the loop of what was going on with my dryer and let me know how soon a part could come in. He was great! Andy from Mr. Appliance was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable! He explained exactly why my dryer stopped producing heat and he had it fixed in about 10 minutes. This was my first time ever calling a repairman - usually I fix things myself or ask my dad to fix them. Writing a review when a job is not complete may seem weird, but damn these guys were good! They need to wait for approval from my home warranty company and a part to repair my washer, but my dryer was repaired in record time. Woke up last Wednesday to 2/4 burners on my stove not not working, I called Mr. Appliance after work at about 4:30, my technician was able to be in my home the very next day to repair my stove top. Mr. Appliance was great. On a day their computers were crashing and they lacked a part and we were leaving town, Amy and Chris moved heaven and earth to get the part and repair my washer. Spoke to Kylie on the phone yesterday, she assured me that the technician would arrive between 8 & 12 today, she always followed up with me yesterday evening and narrowed it down to 8-10. Our technician, Michael, could not have been nicer and, though more than one trip was necessary for the replacement part was not a common repair and therefore not on the truck, he made the repair very efficiently. He was extremely thorough in making sure that the various seals were water tight. read more
