Mr Arepa has great service. The woman helping us was willing to customize our arepas and coffees and was super helpful about everything. The inside is clean, there are lots of seats, and the walls look cute, making it a cute place to eat in. All of the arepas and empanadas are Venezuelan style. The empanadas have a sweet corn dough and they're absolutely delicious. The arepas are filled generously and make a whole meal by themselves. They also carry lots of Venezuelan products in their mini market, like drinks, candies, and cookies. I even saw the famous Venezuelan Oreos and will need to pick some up next time.

Our next family food adventure take us to Mr.Arepa located in Kendall with a category 4.9 and more than 1,123 reviews a small place but it becomes big because of the customer service they make you feel like you are at home in the company of the family and enjoying of your favorite food. Our waitress Arlette very kindly and professionally, chef Fernando young but with incredible talent about this kind of cuisine. My wife ordered cachapa with queso de mano and chicharon, memories that came to her palate from Venezuela. My hamburger call the hungry I couldn't eat anything else and for Joseph we ordered a grilled chicken with fried yucca and French fries. The passion fruit smoothie, a delicious fruit, was a refreshing experience with a tropical flavor that brings back memories of your native country. We need to come back for breakfast time

New Venezuelan spot in Kendall and the cachapas are so good! I just had the basic de queso and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back and try some of their other menu items.

Edwin was very welcoming and took time to explain the regular menu and holiday menu The food was made fresh, and it is great value. Loved all the options, especially that I could purchase frozen food items to take home. The coffee was incredible, very strong and it reminded me of the coffee my grandmother used to make.

Great Service, plenty of menu options, and food is delicious. Calm and quiet ambience. Great for families or to catch up with a friend!

    Tequeños

Delicious food and kind staff! We ordered tequeños and pollo asado arepas, they came out very quickly. We'll be back :)

server was nice, the food was really bad. the arepa with fried pork was burnt they were hard as rocks. the cachapa original was cold i'm not sure how there specialty items were cooked this horrible but i'm definitely not going back

    Queso arepa

Terrible service, didn't know how to use the square machine, arepa still slightly frozen and extremely greasy. Will be throwing it away waste of $11.

Just ok and a bit pricey. Ordered the Reina pepiada arepa but had no avocado. The cachapa with chicharrón was very good.

Today, while waiting for something to print at Office Depot, I was searching for a nearby brunch spot when it popped up in my search & I'm so glad I did! First of all, the place is absolutely adorable. It was a packed Sunday morning around 11 a.m. Only one tiny table was left inside, though there were a couple outside too. Honestly, on a beautiful Miami morning, I wouldn't have minded sitting outdoors at all. What really stood out, though, was the service. Gabriela, our hostess and waitress, was wonderful. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind with a huge smile. She walked us through the menu, answered questions about dishes I didn't recognize (it's a Venezuelan spot, after all), and made us feel completely taken care of. Even more impressive was that she seemed to be the only waitress on duty yet never came across as flustered or hurried or anything other than pure sunshine! I ordered my longtime favorite, the arepa perica, just like I used to when I worked nearby, along with a fresh-squeezed orange juice and a chicken empanada to try. My father ordered the desayuno criollo. Everything was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, the plating thoughtful, and the flavors delivered across the board. The space was lively and full of families, making it a great Sunday brunch spot. Everything was spotless, and I don't usually call that out because it should be a given, but the restroom was impressively clean. Like extra clean. I also just learned they have multiple locations now, which is amazing. Well deserved. I can't wait to go back, and I wish them continued success.

I placed an order online through their website and drove to pick it up only to find out that their own website listed the wrong address for this location that Apple Maps has the wrong hours for. What a mess! By the time I got to the wrong address and called to figure out what was going on, my food had been sitting for 30 min and I was still 15 min away from the right address + 25 min to where I was staying. I had ordered arepas, empanadas and ceviche. When I finally arrived to pick up I asked for the food to be remade specially the ceviche since I didn't feel comfortable eating something raw after it seating on the counter for over an hour due to their mistake. There was push back but they finally agree to re make the ceviche only. However the rest of the food was cold by the time we ate it. Very disappointing. Food was ok, not amazing or memorable

This place is demasiado brutal, vale!…read more Pepito's Plaza Brickell is pure Venezuelan soul wrapped in an arepa. The La Pelúa is the real MVP, packed hasta el tope with juicy carne mechada and melted yellow gouda that hits en el alma. It's not just tasty, it's arrechísima. You bite into that and boom, you're back on the streets of Caracas, eating sabroso and forgetting you're even in Brickell. And the papitas fritas? Una vaina seria. Super crispy, golden, and totally addictive. You'll say you're just gonna try a few... mentira. You'll crush the whole thing before you're halfway through your arepa. Can't miss the toppings like alioli, garlic, guasacaca, spicy, or the Venezuelan punch, tartar sauce. Now let's talk billete: the price is a ganga. For what you get, massive portions, flavor for days, and that homemade feel, it's honestly a steal. In this part of Miami? That's a miracle with guasacaca on top. Plus, the crew? Unos cracks. Full-on Venezuelan warmth, quick service, good vibes, and they treat you like you've been coming there since chamito. Yasimar (pelo largo negro chick, Elizabeth, Lizbeth, Juan, and Efrain, gracias por contagiar real pana energy all around. In short: La Pelúa + crispy fries + price that doesn't hurt + puro sabor criollo + a killer team = 20/10. Go, eat, and leave saying: "¡Coño, qué brutal está esto!"

The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful outdoor setup. The lavender accents, the adorable decorative bicycle, and the refreshing mist made such a difference on a hot Miami summer day. It's the only restaurant on the block offering that kind of cooling system, and it's such a thoughtful touch. The outdoor seating is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for 2 groups of 4 without feeling crowded. As soon as I walked inside, I was greeted by a warm, cozy atmosphere. Everything was spotless the dining area, the simple yet elegant table settings, and the beautiful pastry display. You can tell they take pride in every detail!! What truly made the experience unforgettable was the customer service. The owner was there personally welcoming guests and made me feel right at home. Everyone had genuine smiles, and before I had even ordered, she generously offered me a complimentary cachapa. That level of hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about how much they care about their customers. The energy of this place is incredible warm, welcoming, and full of heart. It's the kind of restaurant that makes you want to come back, not just for the food but for the experience. I'm so happy I found this hidden gem, and I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
