Dear Granpollo, just want to inform you that I removed the 3 star review and my comments about the rice of the pabellón criollo , recently I went to francisca restaurant in Doral and I ordered pabellón criollo, let me tell you , it was horrible and small with the same price as yours ,yours is 10 times better , in taste and size , my only recommendation is if you can use regular white rice and increase the size of the soup , and tell the cook to pay attention to the amount of salt in the food Thank you

Spicy sauce, cilantro, sauce, aïoli sauce I forgot the rest of them, but one sandwich comes with all these extras

This is my second time there I get the pulled pork sandwich. It's not as good as Shorty's but the dipping sauces they give you for the extra charge are amazing. Here's a photo.

Living in doral I've always looked at this spot on the corner but never stopped. I suggest you Don't make the same mistake and stop. Food was stale and dry. Had chicken soup, Milanese de pollo and chicharrones. The food lacks flavor and even the fries tasted day old, spending $43 (tip included) I'm totally bummed. It was empty inside and I wondered why. Drive further down to pollo tropical or wait for Canes to open in the coming months. 1-star location 1-star service

Wow I came with my Wife for the first time. God is so delicious. I love it. Food is Fresh Daily. It was worth it to come all the way down here

This place is located in Doral in a small street mall that has some parking but most of the time full. If you want rotisserie chicken, this place has it and very well made! It is crispy and tasty. You can also order the flour hallaquitas which are the best in Miami for those who know what I mean... warm, tender and tasty.... Great consistency. They have their guacamole that has decreased in quality over time and I am impressed... something so simple that they had very good, they lowered quality! They used to do it with tomatoes, avocado and red onion with a nice dressing, now it missed the red onion, they put white onion and it has been most of the time soggy!! Why??? Chef, please take a look at this!!! They have diet coke on a can which I like very much. Service is on the good side by courteous young people. The place is clean!! All in all, will keep coming back. Oh, VERY IMPORTANT!!! they charge 15% tip and they put on their ticket their suggested of 18, 20 etc ADDITIONAL!!! SHAME IN THEM!!! This really got me annoyed!!! Will post my solo lunch's check just because of that!! AND was almost going to take one star off.... Hope they fix this!!!

Yummy lunch spot , not too busy , large portions , everything felt fresh and filling . Service was great with recommendations and attentive. This place is larger than it looks on the outside , I have a feeling it gets packed and full of energy on game days and the drinks definitely pack a punch !

    Large Granpollo Chicken Nachos

This place is one of Miami's best kept secrets. The food is super fresh and delicious. Servers are friendly and the kitchen gets the food out to you quickly. Some of the dishes are better than others, so HIGHLY recommend the Nachos (big enough for 2 people), the chicken Milanese (huge), the Pabellon Criollo (shredded chicken-also very big), and the half chicken. The half chicken is perfectly seasoned and Incredible quality. My only recommendation to ownership is that they should consider offering the grilled & half chicken with rice and beans. Shouldn't cost too much to offer rice and beans with those dishes. Regardless,

Beautifully flavored chicken. So many options to select from their delicious menu from Authentic soups arepitas and plenty of sides.

We decided to pop into this place out of the blue. The service was good and the server was very friendly and made recommendations along the way. We ordered the whole chicken for $22 dollars. We were surprise to see that for the price the chicken did not include any sides. We ordered the Yuca Frita and rice (both had to be paid additionally) and we ordered the queso frito as an appetizer. Despite of the pricing the food was very good, the rice had a nice touch of garlic and the texture was great. The yuca frita was good and crispy and the cheese was good as well. I could say those 3 exceeded our expectations. We had the Papelon to drink, which to my surprise was not too sweet and we enjoyed it a lot. The chicken was pretty good as well and well seasoned, so in regards of the food there were no complains. I could say that the only thing that was not entirely positive was that the chicken for that price came by itself, usually in most places you get at least 2 sides with a whole chicken. But overall the food was good. Our total check came to $63 dollars with the 15% service fee that they automatically included. I can say that for chicken, rice and yuca is a little overprice. But the food was good. I might go again if I feel like eating good Karin American food without minding the price.

    Cachapa Con Queso Y Nata

Little hidden gem in doral area. The chicken was worth all the hype. It was fresh and perfectly cooked. The traditional Venezuelan dish " cachapa " was also really good. I will definitely be back to eat again. If you want a good piece of chicken and some classic Venezuelan dishes I highly recommend.

Last supper... before we head out!

Came here to get some Good old Venezuelan food. We ordered 2 of the Granpollo parrilladas - we were 6 adults & 2 growing late-teenaged boys. Presentation was beautifully rustic. Also ordered arepitas with Nata, which were great... and Cachapas dulce - definitely was my favorite. Usually cachapas are not something I tend to like, but it was delicious. The meat was amazing! I think I ate my weight in meat and sausage! Salsa was yummy on everything... and the guasacaca was on point! Ordered the Sangria - it was made with passion fruit juice which was a bit too fruity for me. But my sister and son loved it. There are so many places in Miami serving similar food... some leave you "wanting". Granpollo did not. We were stuffed & satisfied :-)
