Finally made it into Nubbys and I was definitely satisfied with the meal! I was in the mood for some pizza so I went that route, but the BBQ looked great as well. I got the deluxe pizza and it was packed with toppings and provel, so definitely stl style. We also ordered the buffalo chicken dip and I enjoyed it. Very cream cheese forward. Definitely a great neighborhood spot, and I look forward to coming back for bbq!

First time trying Nubby's. It was really crowded tonight, but we got in fairly quick. We got the meat lovers hand tossed pizza, and it was really good. The sauce had a nice seasoning (not too sweet). The meat and cheese was plentiful and well applied so that each bite was tasty. The staff was all friendly and attentive even with a full house. We'll be back to try some the other other menu items.

Decided to give Nubby's another try. Our Original Stop (Mama Mel's)was closed so we decided to head to Nubby's. The Beer was Cold... The Cheese Garlic Bread was very good!!! Side House Salad.. highly recommend the Sweet Vidalia Onion Dressing !! Was fresh.. but could of used a bigger bowl... lol And this time we got the St Louis Style Pizza with Hamburger/Pepperoni/Bacon/Mushrooms/Onions. This was so so Good!!!! No oil pooling and the Bacon was crisp!!! We opted to sit outside as this place got crazy busy!!! The Heat wasn't to bad.

This place is fantastic. Inside is nice and clean. Staff is super friendly. And food is fantastic. I had the 6oz tri-tips. It came with 2 sides. Both sides were really good. I wish we had split the 8oz version at the 6oz with 2 sides it a bit too much food for a single person. Highly recommend.

I've had Nubby's takeout a few times, but this was my first time dining in. I've clearly been missing out! The inside is super cute and cozy, and the service was really friendly. They've got a great happy hour, too; the place was already packed before 5 o'clock. I tried a few things from the happy hour menu: the birria and brisket tacos were both solid, but the brisket egg roll was my favorite. Very delicious. For what I'd always thought was just a barbecue spot, Nubby's serves what's now my favorite pizza on Telegraph. Always a hit.

It was a Saturday night so they were pretty busy. The hostess told us it would take about 30 minutes for a table, but it only took 10 so that was a nice surprise. We ordered the meat lovers pizza with the hand toasted crust. The pizza was really good. Great amount of toppings on it as well. They had several bottles of different barbecue sauces on the table which really interested man I wanted to try them so I ordered a side order french fries just to be able to try them all. They were very interesting and my favorite was the pressed garlic. Everyone that worked here that we encountered with was super nice and very attentive. The atmosphere here is pretty much just like your typical bar restaurant, a bit loud, but they were really crowded.

Excellent pizza!!! Great spot in Oakville if you're looking for BBQ or pizza. We tried the traditional trashed wings with ranch and they were perfectly crispy and delicious. Would order them again. We also enjoyed the Caesar salad which had a ton of parm and a super flavorful dressing. The last item we tried was the House Favorite thin crust pizza. It had a decent amount of toppings, a nice bake on the crust, and the red sauce has a sweet element to it. Overall, we had a great experience sitting on the patio. Can't wait to go back and try more items in the menu.

Delicious food here. I got the 6oz. portion of Texas burnt ends, with green beans, and tots. My guest got the brisket Philly. Both of us enjoyed our meals.

First time here and wanted to see what all the talk was about . Nice clean bright space and wax greased by Gracie and she was a super attentive server and so friendly. Had the house salad with the absolutely best dressing I have ever tasted , the sweet onion dressing made the salad something special. The Felix pizza was great, a nice thin crust with a bit of a chew to hold up to all the toppings that were on the pie. The pie was loaded and I mean loaded with sausage, bacon, pepperoni, onions and green peppers on a slightly sweet tangy sauce.I look forward to my next visit.

Sorry for the terrible photo, but after waiting for about 45 minutes, we were starving and had to dig in. To start, the weight staff was extremely nice and everyone in there was very friendly. The place is more of a bar and Grill vibe, so very casual. We went here because a lot of people have been raving about the pizza, but to be honest, I don't really know why. It was fine, but nothing to go back for.

Wings and French onion soup were good. Nothing is seasoned. Burgers and pizza were super bland. Not even salt was used to season the meat.

There's a charming patio out front, if you want it. You can settle in for a long dinner, post up at the bar for the night, or grab a quick bite before heading out on the town. Bartenders are warm and approachable, and the in-house mixology is confident without any "we spent 30 hours perfecting this" pretense. The whole experience is like Sam Malone the bartender (save the drama) at Cheers: friendly, self-assured, the kind of place that makes you feel like you could spend all night there without anyone rushing you. We had a Paper Plane and an Old Fashioned -- the latter served over a custom ice cube stamped with a double ax (a nod to the wood fire). The cocktail list leans classic and reliable: if you know you like gin or vodka, you'll find something easy here. The espresso martini is the standout, it works as a dessert drink or any other time of the meal. We started with the Smorgasbord instead of our usual garlic knots (which are their own delicacy), and it didn't disappoint: toasted brioche with mascarpone and strawberry jam, several cured meats (capicola, prosciutto, pepperoni), parmesan, gouda, dried cherries, and chutney. My one nitpick; the pepperoni and gouda were tiny cubes, which makes them tough to grab cleanly compared to the sliced parmesan or rolled prosciutto. In this situation give the man a toothpick. The tallow-fried wings are, in my opinion, the best in St. Louis. The beef-tallow-and-potato-starch breading produces a tempura-like texture and crunch that keeps them light. Adventurous-but-classic sauces, bourbon butter BBQ, buffalo, and pineapple honey habanero (legitimately spicy; bring backup). The wings stand on their own without sauce. For pizza, we got the Napoli (tomato, fresh and smoked mozzarella, arugula, parmesan, black pepper, olive oil) -- her standing favorite. Expect proper Neapolitan: soft center, thin crust, charred crisp edge. Don't lift and bite fold it. (She insists: no fork. I use a fork - I know how dare I!) The pizza menu reads creative but never gimmicky; meat-lovers, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-conscious diners all have real options. Before Kyle took over, Pizzeoli was known as a vegan-forward spot, and that flexibility lives on. We closed with the seasonal ice cream sandwich, fresh-pressed pizzelle wafers, crème brûlée ice cream, and a torched marshmallow cap. Excellent. A couple of practical notes: they're dinner-only (4-9:30) and the new reservation phone line is a robo call. Easier to use the online waitlist or book online directly. Pizzeoli is dressed-down-or-dressed-up friendly, kid-welcoming, and somehow works equally well for a pre-game stop or your dinner of the week. I've never had a bad dish here, and there are several I come back for specifically -- Lesley for the Napoli, me for the wings. 4.9 stars out of 5. If that toothpick shows up, a perfect 5. ;) Worth the trip across town, an hour drive for a long dinner, if it were open for lunch, the suggestion for two trips in one day would be welcomed or two-days in a row.

My husband had the gluten free pasta because it is also vegan, and no lie and true to form, it was delightful and light! I would order this again!! Had plenty for lunch the next day. Not to be left out: the toasted ravs and cannoli. I've had a few T-ravs since moving to StL, and these are excellent. Not a ton of places still have this. I also liked that the olive oil was seasoned which gave it a nice kick. For entrees we ordered two lasagnas, salmon pasta and a frisco burger. All were good but the lasagna was the standout. A little spicy and very filling. The salmon could have used a little extra salt but I loved the grilled flavor. Since it was my birthday they gave me a complimentary mini cannoli. It was so cute and very tasty! If I wasn't so full I would have loved a full sized one. I was still pretty full from our earlier dinner, but I tried one slice of what I belief was the margherita pizza. The cheese was super gooey, the crust was nice and crispy, and the olive oil base gave it a nice and rich feel. Good pizza! Everyone else was happy with their slices too. I will say the toppings are generally covered by cheese and so if you don't know what was ordered you might wind up with a bite of something you don't like (as was the case for my heat-averse aunt who got a big mouthful of jalapeño on one of her slices).
