Update: After coming back here for a second time I was so disappointed to see that they changed their flight system. It's so lame to bracket out the beers into different categories, it just feels so anti-consumer. They've created a tiered system (bronze, silver and gold), where the better beers are associated with a higher tier. If you want to try only one beer from the gold tier you have to pay the whole gold tier price. The other problem is, they don't have enough variety on the different tiers to make it worth the extra charge, so you're only option is to fill with beers from lower tiers and essentially throw money away. Why not just do things the traditional way and not reinvent the wheel? The point of a taphouse is to try different beers, but this new system made me do the opposite, because I would've liked to get two flights but just stopped at one because I felt like I was getting ripped off. I was so excited about this place when I first tried it, but I don't think I'll come back again until they make a change. I'm so bummed. read more

We were excited to check this place out but we were completely ignored by the staff after being told to sit anywhere. After sitting for over 10 minutes another group of people came in and were helped immediately and given menus while we continued to sit without menus or otherwise being acknowledged. I attempted to make eye contact with members of the waitstaff but it was like we were invisible. After we sat for 15 minutes we walked out because it seemed we weren't wanted there and if it took over 15 minutes to get a menu, I didn't care to see how long it would take to be served. read more

The server was friendly, but food took an extremely long time. My husbands chili was lukewarm and my food was the same. His burger was hot, but thin and unimpressive. We enjoy the large selection of beers many of which are from smaller local breweries. They have a smaller menu but some pretty unique items. My personal favorite is the hamburger with a spicy peanut butter. You can't go wrong with the fries, sweet potato fries, or homemade chips especially if you choose one of their seasonings to add to it! We are excited to have this not too far from home! read more

Was excited to have this on our side of town. The food is good, but their to go is very limited on what times they'll take orders. Sometimes we've called and we've been told they aren't taking to go orders, and other times they've told us we missed the cut off for ordering a to go, even though the restroom doesn't actually close for another 45 minutes. Well, the beer selection hadn't changed very much which was disappointing. A lot of the same local stuff. Im not a sour/cider guy and that was perhaps the list that changed most. Walked in, asked for a beer menu and was told I had to download the untapped app. I hate apps and don't want any more on my phone but I obliged because the bartender said it was up to date. Ordered beer #1 and was told it kicked. Ordered beer choice #2 and he told me that one just kicked as well. Frustrated I ordered a beer I have had many times before,paid my bill and left. First I went I had just a few minutes left to put in an and the food came out pretty good. But the next few times I went the experience got worse. One the burger I ordered came out raw. They hardly let touch the grill. And every time I go in it feels like I'm being rushed out the door by the staff. I want to like the place they just need more time open I think. I guess after all the hype I expected more. As you'll see in several other reviews the food is good but not great. For what you actually get it is on the high side of the price scale too. They are still new and likely struggling with staffing properly for this market. Their staff is slow but I will give them the benefit of doubt and say they are trying to pay more attention to detail rather than efficiency. The selection of beers hopefully will change based on this particular location. It seems they have not yet discovered what this area likes and have errored on the side of caution with many beers basically being bud light in disguise. There are far too few ciders and sours, or even any so called "house brews" on the list for one to really consider this a true tap house. If you aren't going to make your own beer at least source brews from local-ish breweries. An outdoor patio space would have been an additional positive feature but with your location I guess that would be difficult. All of the above would normally award you at least 3 stars; however, your inability to steer clear of the greed that is slowly creeping its way into everyday business is disturbing. The prices of your menu offering should account for and cover your operating costs. The industry already caters to allowing you to force us to subsidize your employees' wages through gratuities, we should not also have to cover the costs supporting your ability to accept cards for payment. What's next? Will we also have to pay per napkin used? Honestly what you are doing is actually illegal on the surface simply by the way you are doing it. The law requires that you inform your customers that you intend to impose a surcharge for their ability to pay with a card prior to any service or product being ordered. Marking it on the bottom of their receipt at the end of the transaction between you and them only after you have processed their card for payment is a violation of the congressional bill (HR2463) passed in 2023 that governs JUNK FEES. SO, if you can't or don't want to afford the fees associated with accepting cards for payment then you simply shouldn't accept them...but remember we kind of live in a cashless society. read more
