I order through Doordash or Ubereats on a fairly regular basis and Mr. Bumbles Cafe is one of my top choices for breakfast-lunch. Everything is delicious, the portions are more than enough, the coffee is great. Some of my faves have been: fruit salad, 3 bean chili soup, the Elvis, toasted pb&j, their oatmeal (which I get with fresh fruit and maple syrup), their BEC breakfast sandwich, and Mango Tango smoothie. I originally placed the order in the morning but I let them know I was arriving late and they let me know I can just call to let them know I was on the way. Which I did , a few hours later they made this delicious meal for me. Would suggest coming here. Easy walk from the main road and plenty of parking outside too. I ordered breakfast/early lunch yesterday from Mr. Bumbles Cafe and the food was DELICIOUS. The food is simple and straight forward, but cooked to perfection -- the chicken and turkey we're so moist and the flavors excellently balanced. On top of that they're just good people. Our order when it was delivered was accidentally mixed up, the cafe called us before we even opened the wrong bag to know something was wrong, remade our order so it was hot and fresh and redelivered it right away. I met Brandon (owner) shortly after opening the cafe two years ago. I am a regular, usually visiting at opening time, and I live nearby with approximately one mile drive before my morning shift at a local hospital. I can not think of a time when Brandon was not at his cafe, besides one brief vacation week. I have recommended this venue to close friends, this is my first public advertisement. The food is fresh, and service is polite. Sometimes there is a wait, which I do not mind. Food is prepared to order and in front of the waiting customers. I am frequently the first customer of the day and I usually have a double latte and perhaps peanutbutter toast or breakfast wrap. I may order a snack or salad to take for my lunch. The hospital cafeteria lacks fresh fruit and veggie options and overall costs more than what I pay at Mr Bumbles. Food + Time + Effort. I have three espresso machines at home and can make a latte for myself. The community experience is why I invest in the cafe lattes. I prefer the neighborhood pulse, human interactions, the conversations, the inclusive atmosphere of Mr Bumbles Cafe to the "stay at home" morning option. A fresh flower bouquet greets visitors. The furniture is basic and functional, not pretentious. Today I was stricken by one man's opinion that I did not properly appreciate Mr Bumbles' plated buttered toast. I did order something not on the menu, and Brandon was kind enough to oblige. I was trying to experience my Saturday usual from a time when I was a homebody living with the love of my life homebody. We used to make lattes for each other. We would have buttered toast and pleasant conversation, we laughed a lot. I could be with my Valentine 365 days a year without leaving home. I was quickly reminded by the man that I was in a public space where others could see my food choices and comment. The encounter did help me decide to write this review. I have been negligent of my public opinion of Mr Bumbles Cafe for too long, thank you Mr man for the nudge. And thank you Mr Bumbles for noticing me, remembering my preferences in food, sharing your laughter and great humor, introducing me to others from the neighborhood, and giving me a sense of being welcomed in your establishment. Won't ever go back! The guy at the counter was not friendly or kind in the least. It looked like I was bothering him by being there. The place has one other dinner and he was the only employee. The sandwich I ordered her cooked in a microwave! (Could have gone to dunkin for that) the fruit was nasty, didn't even touch it. Guy handed me my food at the counter and I bought it to the table. After there was a garbage can placed under the counter where he hands you your food, I observed the other diner empty her plate and place it on the counter. At this point I was too grossed out by my food the price for microwaved food and the general disgustingness of the place so I left me plate on the table after I ate what I could stomach and took off! read more

They really don't overthink it here. When you want breakfast, sometimes you're in the mood for the huge plate of greasy diner favorites- the bacon, sausage, grits platter, etc. Other times you're feeling sophisticated and brunchy and want food you know you'll mispronounce. Mr. Bumbles does everyday food in a fresher, better presented way at fair prices in a cool setting. Menu is pronounceable, and because it's all clearly fresh food, it's quite delicious. I am compelled to write something - it's not my nature to complain and I apologize- I know it's hard to run a business. Even more reason to make sure that your customer service is at least reasonable. My husband and I were looking for some lunch. We were met with such rudeness, we didn't even bother ordering. The man at the counter (owner?) was so patronizing l, arrogant and unpleasant. Despite our close proximity to this cafe ,and liking the menu, we will never come here again, on principal. So happy to have a place like this nearby! The color scheme is very uplifting. The food preparation area is on display and gives the room a spacious feel. I could see people coming here on the regular for a nice, hearty, FRESH meal. I had a spinach salad and sandwich and it was the freshest I've ever had. The meal came with a fruit cup and applesauce, which I was expecting to be some pre-packaged variety. So I was pleasantly surprised to see such a variety of fruits including berries and fresh cut-up pineapple. The applesauce was sprinkled with cinnamon - such a nice touch! Cute place. Heard about it a few days ago and was driving past and turned around when I saw where it was. I got The Albany Cardinal and it was delicious! The bread was very lightly toasted which was appreciated however it could have been a little more toasted to soak up the juices a little more.
