I just ordered lunch from here for my coworker and I. They delivered the wrong food. I ordered a salmon salad but received a salmon rice bowl. I'm not eating rice or else I would've let it go. I called to notify them and the lady offered to send me a salad. I said cool beans! I ate my salmon and veggies and went back to work since we were on lunch. The restaurant must have sent the actual lady who made this mistake instead of the delivery boy that came earlier. She arrived on a scooter. She asked me for the rice bowl dish back. I said oh sure and grabbed the container from the trash. She opened it and says oh there's only rice in here! I said yes that's the part I didn't order. She tells me she brought a salmon salad. I said oh you said you were sending a salad, I assumed it didn't have salmon. She tells me she wants to take the salmon out of the salad she just handed to me. I handed her the bag and said to just take it back. She started repeating over and over about how it had salmon and I wasted her time and I shouldn't have eaten my food. Ummmm, I was on a lunch break and I was hungry. Not only that but she messed up my order. I told her I'm not going to eat something she picks food out of. That's just weird. She kept arguing which is why I'm leaving a 2 star review. She walked out saying we wasted her time. Really?!? This was my first time ordering from there. We try out new spots on a whim and if we like them we order again! Not this time.... About the food, it wasn't bad. The salad had no dressing though. The salmon was good. Flavorful and not over cooked. My friend had the shrimp bao and said it was tiny. I would've liked to try other things on the menu. Dairy free bubble tea finally a place where I can enjoy delicious bubble tea. I've tried the Rose milk tea and wow so good. You can ask to get it sweeter for those that like it really sweet. If you blink, you just might miss Mr.Buncha, a small, unassuming storefront that takes up the end of a row of stores. Sunnyside finally has a good bubble tea spot! I got the Buncha Milk Tea and the Butterfly Pea Yuzu. The bubbles were perfectly bouncy in the buncha milk tea. The butterfly pea yuzu had a beautiful combination of colors; make sure to mix it well! They also have a food menu, which I will definitely try on my next visit. And for those who are big fans of chip city, their sunnyside location is right next door! I got the Taro Milk tea without boba (not a huge fan of those at times). Anyway, it was good just a tad/smidge too milky for me (that's why I gave 1 less star). But cute spot. Not that many seatings inside, but there is outside. Staff is super friendly. Got the medium and it cost me about $5 more or less. Lovely having these cute bubble tea places in the neighborhood. Stopped by and got a Lychee slush + Buncha Buns. Loved the shop decor and outdoor seating area and everything tasted good. The buns especially had great flavors + textures with all that goes into them The only gripes I had were that some of the pork pieces had some tough bits which I had a hard time biting through (might have been skin/cartilage?) and the price for the buns. That said, I'll definitely be coming back. The drink was great and this place offers crystal pearls which I like and don't see as often as other toppings. This was my first time coming here & I am not impressed. I ordered the mango matcha drink: the matcha wasn't prepared or mixed in a way where it was dissolved and the mango purée/mango syrup was not good. Don't recommend. I also got the rose milk tea which didn't have enough rose flavor. I asked them to add more rose but they said they already added the measured amount. Basically just got milk tea with a splash of rose. If you like bubble gum flavor, then get the "pinky" drink. It wasn't a personal favorite. The cheese foam on there wasn't very thick or nice in texture. Lastly, as a snack, I got the chicken pop. It claims to have a secret seasoning & the seasoning was somewhat visible but severely lacking. I will say it was very crispy, which I like, but the "seasoning" tasted like it wasn't even there. Update: got the roast pork buns and the buncha signature bowl. Have to dock 2 stars because the pork in both tasted weird and the bowl was about 80% rice. Unfortunately had to throw it away because I didn't feel comfortable eating the rest of the meat. I was sooo happy to see Mr. Buncha open up in the neighborhood, and even more excited when I saw they had a vegetarian option - tofu bun!! I love the crispy tofu bun (which make a great snack) and the fact that they will add extra tofu for a totally reasonable upcharge. Found this place b/c my g/f wanted something light to eat and that it should be different from other takeout food. I bought 2 small bowls and two tea milk teas. They were very good but my complaint was that it is overpriced. The Buncha Over Rice Bowl were a bit small (e.g. 6" bowl) for $13 each it should have at the least an 8" bowl. The milk teas were reasonable for the size $5 each. Total was $39 plus tax. Seems like every eatery is downsizing big time. I would have given more stars for bigger size. read more

My favorite go to for milk tea! The interior is super cute and very aesthetically pleasing and they have a lot of good options for drinks and even have season specials that are just as delicious.
