Some of the best noodle soup I have tried in Long Island City. I would recommend the signature beef noodle soups. I like it spicy. Like drinking the soup and makes you feel full and joyful. Noodle craft is a nice spot for lunch. Noodles were good, needed to give it a good mix to get all the flavors. Lacked a little salt for everything in general. Popcorn chicken and spicy dumplings were regular, nothing to make it outstanding, but still delicious. The place is like a lunchroom. Not sure if we were just supposed to go take our own seats. There was no one to greet us as the ordering station is all the way in the back and all the staff were just hanging out around there. Service was odd, the server did not come check on us and when we needed something we just went to the ordering station. Please note, when we went it was pretty much empty, so it was not busy at all. As mentioned not sure how it supposed to work here, but we did get our food fairly quick. The place is cute, lots of plants, looks like a very big space, believe it used to be a garage. Popped in here for some lunch and it was really nice! I asked for recommendations and they were very helpful. The Singaporean laksa had some real nice flavor to it, though I do wish there was a bit more variety of the toppings. The inside is nice and spacious and there's free WiFi if you need to do any work! The Taiwanese Salt & Pepper Chicken was crunchy and well-seasoned, though I wish it had come with a sauce. The Lotus Leaf Wrapped Sticky Rice was super authentic and aromatic. Noodlecraft is surprisingly bigger than I thought inside. They have a decent amount of dim sum dishes. I got their shrimp dumplings and pork shu La and enjoyed them! I also had their braise beef noodle soup and their Malaysian laksa. In the beef noodle soup, I liked the broth and their noodles, but the Malaysian laksa really stood out to me! Unfortunately, the chef for hand pulled noodle was gone for the day so we were not able to order that. we chose round noodles. The service was quick. Braised beef soup was delicious and the chucks of meat was very tender. Having carrots and boy choy was visually appealing. I could not finish the soup and asked for a to go box. They gave me two containers. One for noodles and another for soup so that noodles do not absorb all the soup! We also ordered Classic Lan Zhou noodles which was delicious. As this was our first time, we did not know that we could seat and order from a long table. It is good to know that one could stay in Long Island City and enjoy Chinese noodle soup! Walking into Noodlecraft, I was reminded of a food court with the long tables. I loved the neon lights, lanterns, and the umbrellas on the ceiling. I was greeted upon entering and led to a table. Not sure what happened recently, since 2026 started, the food quality decreased by quite a lot. Chicken weren't sliced like it was used to and tasted like overcooked rubber. I've passed by this place a few times and always noticed the cool Hong Kong-style posters and cafeteria style setup. I finally got to go inside today and got some dim sum staples: bbq pork bun, pork dumplings, and duck dumplings. I was really pleasantly surprised by how good the duck dumplings were - there was a mix of things inside that helped to enhance the duck flavor. The outside of the duck dumplings are a mochi style covering which is a fun twist on the typical dumpling. The bbq pork bun was typical but delicious. The pork dumplings were great - just a note they come 4 to a dish vs the typical 6 to a dish. We were served quickly and everything was hot and ready to eat. One thing to note is their chopsticks are unique: they come with wooden tips that you plug into the main chopstick frame. Maybe it's something others' are used to, but it was new and unconventional for me - but I really like that concept since it wastes less wood and the chopsticks feel more durable. I really want to come back when it's a little colder and try their hot noodle soups and chili oil wontons. I do want to enjoy summer a little longer, but I can't wait for when I crave these warming dishes in winter. read more

The Braised Beef Noodle Soup is probably one of the best I've had in NYC; I always like to try Beef Noodle Soup at Chinese/Taiwanese restaurants and this is definitely one of the 2 or 3 best ones I've had. The braised beef was super tender, the noodles were fresh, and the broth wasn't too heavy but still flavorful. The Wontons were also solid; not too doughy and packed good flavor. Decent noodle place in LIC. Everything was served pretty fast and the portions were large. The cucumbers were refreshing and had a good crunch although it did not have a strong flavor. The soup was good and had alot of meat inside but the noodles were a little flavorless. The dandan noodles were also surprisingly bland but you could add soy sauce and chili oil from the table. That being said, it was still good for a quick affordable meal. My favorite thing was the Fried pumpkin with egg yolk. The inside of the restaurant makes you feel like you're eating inside a large mess hall or cafeteria decorated with Taiwanese night market vibes. They have so many kinds of noodles, both soups and pan fried, as well as many appetizers that reminded me of home. My fiance and I split the braised beef noodle soup, a pan-fried chicken noodle soup, and their salt and pepper chicken. The portions were huge, but we finished every last bit - it was that good! We tried the popcorn chicken which was fried perfectly with juicy morsels of chicken as an appetizer. We were in the mood for dry noodles so we tried 3 separate types: the zha jian noodles (which have a rich saucy umami taste), the cold noodles with stredded chicken, and the dan dan noodles. All three were excellent but if I had to choose two only, I would get the zha jian noodles and the dan dan noodles. Service here is great, very friendly, although they do get busy due to the traffic here. Also tried the boba which was surprisingly decent given that drinks are not their main focus. I think the dan dan noodles were amazing and were mixed well with the greens which actually added too to the noodles. I also got some chicken dumplings which was maybe too much food for one person but also great and had so many different good to share with group of friends.
