So I was in the area and I was craving Chinese food. It was about 5 minutes from where I was so off I went. I arrived and was told to sit wherever I wanted. I did wait a little while for my order to be taken which is why it didn't get 5 stars. Eventually I was brought water and crunchy noodles with duck sauce and mustard. I ordered a cup of wonton soup, egg roll and sesame chicken with white rice as my entree. The soup was good but could have been a bit warmer. It had cabbage in it which was a little different but good. The egg roll was also good but again, not hot enough. My chicken however, was perfect. It was delicious and I loved the sauce. The chicken was good quality. Service was pleasant enough and one gentleman in particular was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking outside. Definitely will return! read more

Heard about this place from IG. Never knew it was so close to us so we gave it a try. Beef and broccoli was great. Tasted fresh and delish. The won ton soup was absolutely so tasty especially on a cold day. The touch of extra cabbage added a nice fuller flavor. The beef lomein had a lot of tasty fresh veggies and was not greasy at all. Everything was excellent. The service wasn't the best and we heard other tables complaining the wait times were too long to order and to get the food but I would come back because I know the hospitality industry is struggling overall. Highlights: lukewarm hot and sour soup that stays like Jell-O even after you heat it up. Peas and carrots in a watery ma-po dish. Undercooked rice. somehow, even their store-bought fortune cookies are terrible; they taste like slightly sugared posterboard. You know that one time in your life your friends dragged you to a weird strip club, "Come on, Doug, it's more like a freak show, come on, let's go." that's the only reason you should eat here, the food is an absolute freak show that perhaps you should experience just one. Depraved food. Anyway, I really oughta get my money back, but in a way, I think it's commendable that these people have managed to be the worst at something. This place is horrible! All the staff including the managers are rude with attitudes as if we owe them something. Stay away if you want to have a stress free lunch or dinner! Another thing this place is dirty! tables and menus always sticky never cleaned bathrooms are filthy. My wife and I were standing for 15 minutes waiting to be seated after 3 employees saw us waiting. When my wife approached the manager and asked if we can be seated she just looked at her and ignored her walking away. However for dine in on Christmas Day, they were unprepared. We were sat down immediately, we put in drink and food order. We waited 2 hours for our food and one dish never came. 3 other tables sat down after us and served before ours. I voiced my concern to waiter, and all he can say to me "I'm doing my best". Poor execution of service, poor execution of handling of customers. If that is his best, then why would I come back? I understand they were understaffed. I was craving some shrimp and veggies tonight so I had the Mr.Chefs double pan fried noodles for dinner and asked for extra sauce. It was DELICIOUS! Probably the tastiest dish I've ever had from a Chinese restaurant. All the veggies were perfectly cooked! The meat was tender and plentiful. The sauce had ALOT of flavor without being overly salty and giving you that bloaty feeling. It was very fresh and balanced. I loved it and needles to say I found my new favorite go to dish! I've been coming here for a few years, and it has never lost it's luster. I leave here every time still pinching myself at how lucky I am to have this Chinese restaurant in my area. The flavors are flawless. The prices are reasonable. And owner/manager Mimi is a delight. She treats her customers like family. I cannot fathom why this restaurant only has a 3.5 star average. Maybe Chinese food is a bit personal, but this is among the best--if not THE best--I've ever had. So, what to eat? Don't worry, because you can't go wrong. Love starting with either the egg drop soup ($3.95 small/$6 large, which is enough for 2 - 4 people) or the wonton soup ($4.25 small/$7.95 large). Gotta have some steamed pork dumplings ($6.95 for 6 pieces and shrimp dumplings ($5.95 for 4 pieces). So fresh. Such perfect texture. For entrees, we usually get the sesame chicken ($13.95) and the pork lo mein ($12.95). I know. It's lo mein. Ho hum, right? Wrong! Perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. When we come with my family, we always order the Peking duck ($42.95 for two full courses). I've never had better Peking duck anywhere. The first course with the crispy skin and pancakes is always my favorite, but leave room for the second course, which is diced and seasoned to perfection and served with crisp lettuce wraps. There's a full selection of reasonably priced wines and beer. Our go-to is the Cavit Chardonnay, a pretty decent un-oaked Chard that's light and refreshing and a great bang for your buck at $22/bottle or $7.25/glass. Pairs well with Chinese. The dessert menu is way beyond what you'd find at your typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant, with everything from New York-style cheesecake to the Sea salt caramel truffle. I absolutely hate giving bad reviews. I like to see all sides of things. But after putting in an order and being notified that it would be not 30 min but an hour, I got to the restaurant only to wait another 60 minutes. I know you are probably thinking why did you wait so long? Are you a masochist? And for that I have two comments. One: the waitresses would ignore all of us waiting. At one point I was questioning my own existence because of how good they were at ignoring us (there were many of us waiting). The second is that just as I was about to throw in the towel they gaslighted me to say I had not been waiting as long as I had said and that my order was next. Another 20 min passed. So yes. This is as partly my fault but these people were masterful on the art of ignoring customers. So, after 1 hour of putting in an order and another hour of waiting at the restaurant I left not only angry but also ashamed of myself for letting this place treat me like this. The orders took forever to be served the starters came in separately and the food served was cold. It seemed that they had an issue in the kitchen.
