Decided to come here really quick for some late night dessert. Was super excited to try and the pictures looked yummy and even when we received it, it looked super good. The biggest downfall though was the funnel cake did not taste made to order, and I didn't hear anyone actively frying. I believe they were made in bulk and remaining under the heat lamp to stay warm and a bit crisp. For this reason, I have to drop my rating down to a 2. I just feel that fried items should essentially be made to order for the best experience possible, considering this also costed around $15 Service was very good and the workers were nice. They allowed us to sample a few ice creams and make customizations to our order which was great.

I am no more than a man. I like sugar, it is a feature fundamental to my caveman brain. Ooga booga sugar good for survival. At least that's what I told myself when I came here. This place has like 16 types of ice cream available, and funnel cakes as well. Their prices are reasonable and their churros were delicious. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, combined with some ice cream with a caramel drizzle for a reasonable price. I will definitely return. The place is nice and clean, with fast service. I did come late at night and noticed the parking lot was pretty small so be aware of that.

Came here on a whim and was a bit disappointed. The funnel cakes were not made fresh, they had a staleness to them. Presentation is beautifully executed. Our waiter was kind and helpful. It's clean inside, but seating is limited. The parking is also small, and can get busy since there is a taco shop next to it.

Overall if you're craving churros and ice cream, this will hit the spot. They have a huge menu with shakes and lattes, and even funnel cakes! This place was clean, not busy, and fully stocked on their menu items, where as other churro places may have long lines or run out of items due to high demand. We had an enjoyable visit, stop in and give them a try for yourself!

My sis and I were craving for something sweet. I went to Yelp and found this churro shop. It was already after 6pm and there were a good amount of people inside. The store front is super cute and welcoming. Parking is not too great because it's in a little lot with limited space. My sister went in to get the churros. Let me just say it looked just okay and it was hard and cold by the time we got home. We live no more than 10 minutes from this place. The churros were harden and tasted like it was overcooked. I was disappointed because I really wanted churros. We won't be coming back unfortunately. Maybe it was just this one time. You may wanna still check it out yourself. 3 star for the nice customer service and the shop was clean and cute.

Almost as good as churros from Costco. But that may tell you more about me than Mr. Churro. Either way, enjoyed the atmosphere and knowing the churros were made fresh. The other menu items looked to have high potential. I would recommend this place.

This place is a gem ! If you have a sweet tooth for fresh churros and ice cream this is the place to be! We went on a Sunday afternoon, not busy at all. We had a sweet craving after lunch and this place popped up on Yelp and we thought we give it a try ! We went for the supreme churros & grabbed an Horchata ice latte. 10/10 on quality of food and service. Everything was fresh! The supreme churros were $12 & the Horchata Iced Latte was $8 I believe, I feel both were worth the price. I will say if you're looking for a sweet Horchata Iced latte, this isn't too sweet but if you like coffee it tasted delightful!

Came here after dinner with the fam the other night there were 6 of us and when we walked in there was no line the girl on the register was nice and helpful since it was our first time. We order SUPREME FUNNEL CAKE (X2) and ORIGINAL CHURROS . They come with your choice of ice cream and syrup and they also added strawberries and bananas I choose the SNICKERS ICE CREAM and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS I loved it!! They have a variety of ice creams to choose from!! The desert came quick and the line for bigger it was a full house and it was a fun time enjoying our dessert with laughter all around!! Love the churros here! The cashier provided her recommendations and I went with the original 4 piece with condensed milk and caramel, and horchata. The churros were super crunchy and coated nicely. The parking and seating is a bit limited but a definite must try! Make sure to eat them while they're warm!

Funnel cakes were made fresh, churros were on the hard side. Service was excellent - they let you sample the flavors & they were patient with our many orders. They have churros, funnel cakes, ice cream, shakes & lattes. There are so many good flavors to choose from! It was upbeat with music playing in the background & people chatting at their tables. I'm not really a churro person but the churros here are really good! They are made to order so they're extremely fresh and crunchy. I've tried with ice cream and all the other toppings but found it a little too sweet so I order the 5 piece (as default) with nutella drizzle. Sometimes they get busy but expect to wait because it does take awhile for your order to be ready. Service is...nonexistent. They don't greet you or acknowledge you but the churros are good. Lol.

For a place whose name is named after the churro I got to say that this is one of the worst churros I've had. A real Mexican churro should be crispy on the outside, soft and gooey in the inside. However, this place tasted like your standard Disneyland churro. It was very dry overcooked And didn't have that special churro flavor. Also the funnel cake and we ordered to go, was soaked in strawberry syrup. For Thoes, ordering funnel cake to go they should put the strawberry on the side, which helps preserve the crispy texture and nature of a funnel cake.

Ok so I didn't wanna pass the opportunity to give them a review. To me this is a business that really deserves that good rating. I love the menu the have, everytime I come here I just don't know what to order because of how good everything is. Shake, shakes chocolate is my favourite. So we stop by 2 times a week now after school with my son just for a shake. Since they first opened I gave it a try and was absolutely sold. Funnel cake really takes it. Before I would have to drive to hungtington beach just to get a decent funnel cake just like at the fair, but now It's close to home. This place is clean and bright and also the girls have good costumer service. 100 por cent would recommend Mr Churro. read more

Came in to try what they served.. originally for churros but my daughter wanted to try the funnel cake... really disappointing . We ordered the original and the toppings were the only good thing about it because the funnel cake itself was rubbery not soft and airy like it should be. The texture was chewy and thick in batter... Will not be coming back... The 2 stars is only for the polite customer service we received.. At least this place has that. read more

Solid Churros - have had better but they were good and didn't taste like grease! The ice cream...my daughter got the mango and she FREAKING LOVED IT!!! I had the snickers ice cream and was yummy!!! We came about 10 minutes before closing so we weren't able to get any churros unfortunately. So instead we got the supreme funnel cake that comes strawberries, whipped cream, your choice of syrup and ice cream. They were very nice and let you try the ice cream flavors before picking and had some unique mexican flavors like horchata. The funnel cake came to about $16.73 with tax and tip. Overall it was a nice treat, definitely big enough to share with 2-3 people. Nice spot open late, would love to come back again for the churros! read more

Ehh this place is okay. The ice cream if it's a normal flavor it's fine but the Cookie Monster straight up taste like food coloring. I took one spoonful and it tasted horrible compared to the sample. They had this lady and she spoke zero English. Imagine if someone has a food allergy and she can't even say what's in the ice cream. Anyway. The ice cream was more expensive than cold stone and wasn't even that good. Eh I would rather go somewhere else but I guess for 11pm it's fine. read more

We came across this place and decided to give it a try. My cousins and I got the original funnel cake that comes with syrup, strawberries and whipped cream. My friend got churros. Yum this place is yummy for dessert. We made the mistake of getting one funnel cake each! These are huge and you can share with at least two people. We went on a Friday night and the place had a steady flow of people coming in. Don't come here with a big group of people because there is no big tables. The strip seems to have a lot of new businesses so parking can be a little slim. Overall i do recommend you come in here for a funnel cake. read more

We waited in a very short line for over 15 minutes watching the guy 2 spots ahead at the register fumble over his payment. Over, and over, and over again. During that time 1 employee was trying to help him and 3 others were just standing there waiting. We tried to order, but they said you have to pay first. So we waited. And they waited. And we waited some more. During that time, we had the opportunity to try many of the flavors of ice cream. This was probably a bad idea because we left without ordering anything! For the prices they are charging, it is definitely not worth the money. Parking here is an issue and the neighborhood is not an ideal date destination. I don't expect this place to be here very long. read more

The churros have a good taste to them but they churro itself don't have the consistency of a churro more like dough thick dough. What I love about churros is the crunch from the outside and the inside is soft and actually taste like a churro over all. But these do have a good taste. Just not my cup of tea. read more

I usually don't give bad reviews, but if I could save you time and your tast buds. Here we go, it took one hour for my order to come out! And the churros were so over cooked (burnt) that when you ate them, they were like eating fried chalk. Sorry but not so sorry, they really need to figure things out. read more

I really appreciated how nice and helpful the workers were. The girl who helped us offered recommendations and let us sample a handful of flavors. Ultimately we decided to get a flight which included 4 flavors of kid sized scoops for $15. They had a "Brewed and Bold" offering as part of their seasonal menu so we decided to get the Black Sesame Cookies and Cream, Thai Tea Buttercrunch, Matchaberry Brownie, and their Hojicha Chip. The ice cream flavors were subtle but so delicious and refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try more of their flavors. Parking can be a bit tough depending on the time of day as it's in a busy plaza shared with other eateries, but thankfully we were able to snag a spot within a few minutes.

The ice cream here is honestly horrible. It is aggressively, tooth-achingly sweet--to the point where it feels like you're eating straight corn syrup. If you're looking for actual flavor, look elsewhere; this stuff just tastes like "diabetes in a cup." To make matters worse, the consistency is a mess. It melts way too fast, turning into a sugary soup before you can even get through half of it. I also made the mistake of buying a tub to take home once, only to realize the expiration date was incredibly soon. For the price they charge, you'd expect high-quality ingredients and a decent shelf life, but it just feels cheap and poorly made. Save your money and your health. I won't be coming back. PS. It's a blessing in disguise that they're currently closed because a car ran into their front store.

The milk and cereal one was actually pretty good. Especially with Frosted Flakes in it. It literally taste like cereal. 5/5. I would give it a higher star if the service complimented it and th presentation of the rose ice cream did.

They also offer happy hour, aka Flocktail Hour, from 3 pm -5 pm and 9 pm-11 pm Mon-Thurs. The Parkside Market Coffee shop is a great spot to grab fresh breakfast items, lattes, coffees, and teas. It's one of my first stops on my way to the parks. The prices and variety are much better here than inside the park. They also offer seasonal and monthly items to keep you coming back for more. The two restaurants I have yet to try are Seoul Sister, which offers modern Korean cuisine and bowls, and GG Chicken Shop, made famous by award-winning chefs for chicken sandwiches, salads, and more. I've heard some good and bad things about the food here, as well as about the elevated prices, which have been a turnoff for me since they opened. I may try the food one day and share my thoughts. There's ample seating inside on the first and second floors, as well as nearby areas around DTD. The staff has been kind for the most part and has had no issues with the service or orders I've received. Magic Key holder discounts apply here, with the exception of alcoholic beverages. Overall, Parkside is a good food and drink option for locals and visitors alike looking to try something new.

That's how good it was…read more Found them on Instagram and added it to the list immediately -- had to try these churros while we were down in SoCal. Their truck spot in Anaheim is such a vibe, only 8 mins from our hotel near Disneyland so there was no excuse not to go. Jaime helped us figure out what to order our first time which was honestly so needed because the menu is a lot in the best way. We got there with just a couple people in line and by the time we were done ordering it was wrapped to the parking lot around 8pm on a Saturday night. We tried: the Rosca Delgado (traditional thread churro), Churro Delgado with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream + Caramel Drizzle and Butter Pecan Ice Cream + Lechera Drizzle, and the Chocolate Mi Abuelita hot AND iced. If you must pick one - traditional churro + hot chocolate. No lies there. Already planning to pull up to their Santa Ana spot next time we're back in SoCal. Support this family business y'all, worth ittttt.

Only giving this place 2 stars because of the wonderful cashier Monica that helped me out. Came into this place with high expectations as most reviews are great. It is a nice looking place which is a plus. We were greeted by a friendly girl who offered us samples and was helpful with ordering. Ordered over $30 worth of goodies which consisted of a funnel cake, 2: 5 packs of churros with toppings on the side( I was very clear of that) and ice cream. The wait time was longer than expected and they made the orders randomly so some things were ready before others which was strange as there were 4 employees and it was just myself with my cousins. When I mean a big difference in time - I mean we got churros first and waited longer (15 minutes extra) on ready to serve Icecream. Once I received my order I noticed they drizzled the toppings on the churros and funnel cake which I had specially asked they don't do as I drove from 30 minutes away and didn't want them to get soggy on the way back home. I kindly asked Monica if they could please fix this issue. She was very sweet and understanding about the situation and gladly said she would make us a new order. She even offered to let us keep or old order as well( even though it would be going straight to the trash). Clearly the other 3 employees did not like it one bit and made my order angrily. They made us purposely feel so uncomfortable by staring at us the entire time as we sat there and waited and kept whispering. I even heard one of the employees saying ("the churros come with drizzle so why are they complaining") which is false. The cashier herself asked me if I wanted drizzle on the churros or on the side when I ordered and agreed with me when I mentioned it shouldn't have had drizzle. She stated she remembers clearly telling them the drizzle was on the side. Overall this is a small issue that could've easily been avoided. Yet they made into a big uncomfortable issue because they know they were wrong. One of the employees kept checking the system trying to find some sort of way of making it seem like I was wrong. Mr. Churro offered a carnivalesque spread of treats - churros, funnel cakes, shakes, and a seemingly endless array of ice cream flavors (around 20 to be exact) with the tempting option to sample before committing. While the prospect was delightful, the execution fell short. Ice Cream: Sadly, the ice cream, the foundation of many a delightful treat here, was a major letdown. It lacked the richness and creaminess one craves, leaving a somewhat flat and forgettable impression. Churros ($7.50): These giants promised much but delivered little. Five enormous churros, fried and dipped in a cinnamon-sugar mix, arrived with a side of caramel sauce. Unfortunately, size did not translate to quality. The churros were overly cakey and lacked the essential crispness that defines a good churro. Milkshake ($8.50): The lone bright spot was the milkshake. While a touch too sweet for my palate, the combination of four scoops of ice cream (I opted for cheesecake and caramel) blended into a drinkable, if not spectacular, milkshake. A decent option to beat the heat, perhaps, but not something I'd seek out again. Overall, if you're craving a milkshake on a scorching day, Mr. Churro might quench your thirst.
