First time here and a great experience. Car was cleaned thoroughly on the outside and then was able to use the free vacuums, clean microfiber rags and various cleaners to sparkle up my interior. I consider it a real treat to take my truck to a full-service car wash. I decided to give Mr. Clean Car Wash a try. I got there early, I drove up, Cool little dude helped me with my selection. I ended up with the $32.00 he ensured me that with this deal they would get everything. I did get exactly what I paid for! see photos. The detailers did a great job on the inside and outside. I looked in the back of my truck and it was full of leaves, water, dirt, etc. I was really surprised to see that the inside of my bed wasn't even touched. The manager (Blond Lady) was standing there and she looked in the bed of my truck and said, "That's just water draining." I said, "What about all the leaves and stuff? When I drive away it's all going to fly out and stick to my truck?" "We don't do the beds of trucks!" and walked away. I was totally miffed! I have never heard of such a thing! I didn't see anything posted, the sales dude didn't say a word when I purchased my full-service wash. ??? WTF! I will go back again. UPDATE: 8/29/2022 I wanted to get my SUV ready to drive my mom to & from the airport. Went to the Mr. Clean off Pleasant Hill Road. I've been going there for DECADES ... since they were Carnetts. I wondered why the place was empty at 5pm on a Friday. Found out about the $45 interior clean. It used to be $32. I made the attendant open the gate at the kiosk so I could leave. I'm very disappointed. They lost a longtime customer with this ridiculous price hike. PREVIOUS REVIEW: 2/8/2020 I have been coming to this location for over 10 years - back before it was a Mr. Clean, when it was called Carnett's. I have always received good service here. The last time I was there was a couple of weeks ago. They did their usual good job amd when I mentioned what a bad experience I had a couple weeks before at the Grayson Mr. Clean location, they double-checked their work even though I wasn't complaining about them! I always get the $28 Gold wash (previously known as the Signature Shine to old-timers like me). After driving through the tunnel, they dry the exterior, clean the wheels, put on tire shine, vacuum the interior, and clean the dash. It looked and smelled great. They even introduced themselves by name, thanked me for coming in, and put a towel on the ground for me to step on before getting into my clean car. Paid for their Premium 36$ clean and they finished in about 5 minutes so it was immediately obvious they did almost nothing. Then when we looked at it the car was not clean and the inside did not look any better after than it did when we got there. An absolute total waste of money! Avoid this place like the plague! Went in on a Monday afternoon to get my car waxed like I had done 6 months ago it was dark by the time I left so I didn't notice until the next day the scratches the wax is suppose to buff out were not buffed out like they had done before also a small area where they over buffed the paint now in the future I will have a problem with my paint job. so I go back they agree to wax it again but not until Friday I return on friday wait for 2 hrs looks the same. I have been a gold package member at this car wash for about 2 years.Today is not the first occasion that my car was moved further back in the line then I was when I came out of the tunnel. I was inside for what seemed like 30 minutes, I came outside only to find my truck has been moved to another line that was equally as far back as when I first came out. I asked the guy, the manager about it and he did not answer me. I asked him again and he turned his back on me. I shouted out to him that I had to leave so he moved some cars for me to get out. Shortly there after I called back to cancel my membership because this isn't the first time that this has happened. Not to mention the lack of courtesy. I wish I could give these mf's negative stars! I pull in at 0802 and they weren't open. An employee who is clearly late pulls in next to me and says they should open up in about two minutes... Another employee comes outside and removes the cones so I proceed to the car wash entrance. Then a short, man ish looking lady comes outside a couple minutes later and says they aren't opening up until 9! What kind of business is run like this?? I recommend never coming here and giving your business to a car wash that is professional and will make sure to wash your car and open up on time when their sign says they're opening! I can't even believe I didn't read the reviews before me and take heed but trust and believe when I'm warning you, Yelp buddies. Don't come to this car wash! Don't waste your time. Ever!! I took my vehicle to get a wash at Mr. Clean Carwash 988 Duluth highway in Lawrenceville, Georgia on Friday, October 6th. I realized as I was leaving the car wash that my left sideview mirror was partially unhinged from the base. I noticed this and I went to speak to the manager whom was working (Ken M.) and let him know what occurred during the carwash. Ken proceeded to say that this happens to some vehicles and all they usally do is hit it back in place as he proceeded to bang the mirror back down into place. Upon realizing he was unable to do so he began to hit it from the bottom which did cause more damage to the base on the left sideview mirror. I asked Ken what can be done about this and he proceeded to ask me if I prefer a clean car inside or outside? I told him I prefer my sideview mirror back to the way it was prior to arrival. Ken mentioned that if he was to write a report that it will be denied because there are back of the mirror. I told him that I still wanted to write the issue up and as he did I was told that I will be contacted about the matter. The weekend went by and as I didn't receive a phone call I called on Monday, October 9 to follow up. I left a voicemail and never received a phone call, so I called early morning Tuesday, October 10th and spoke to the manager who was Ken again and told him that nobody reached out to me even after I left a voicemail, he said he will have the higher manager call me. I received a phone call a few minutes later from Daniel H. and he explained to me that they will not take responsibility of this occurring. I've been coming here for the past year for the $40 oil change with free car wash and interior cleaning. SO worth it. They always do a great job, especially the interior. I never have to wait very long. And car wash is good for 90 days if you don't feel like doing everything on the same day. Service has always been super friendly. I've never been pushed to add on more services. They also have a nice lobby area where you can watch cars go through the car wash, browse on the free WiFi and buy snacks. read more

Came here because I was recommended that it was a good car wash. Mmmm I got the exact opposite of good. Just unhappy with the interior of my car the outside looks good. Took them about 20 mins to clean the interior after pulling off I noticed dirt marks still on the dash and steering wheel. The seats still had crumbs/ dirt etc in plain eye view. Still lots of dirt on the floor in the back seat. Smears on the interior part of front window. Just overall a bad job. Def not what I expected. There was a young lady there with braids and cap that was super sweet and accommodating and she had amazing customer service without being intimidating. If I was a manager still I would hire her because I could tell her work ethic was amazing! Even the taller lady with reddish hair in a low cut was putting in work. Only wanted to use the vacuums to clean the floor boards. I came once and was told by one employee they were free to use myself or that I could pay them $16 for them to vacuum my car. When I decided to come back I was told by another employee that I had to pay $5 to use them myself. Obviously, the employees aren't on the same page at all and this is bad service. I was in desperate need of a car washing and thought I'd give Mr. Clean a try. I opted for a full service clean, which included vacuuming and interior cleaning. It was $22. As I pulled up, the worker eased up to me and told me to pull my car over and they'd get to it. I went inside of the building and had a seat while I waited for my car. The inside is like a store and it has tvs and snacks and car accessories like air freshener and such. So after too much time had passed, I looked around and saw that my car was finished and parked over in the corner. I went up to the cashier and asked her why I wasn't told that my car was completed. She said that the workers usually come in and call the person's name and if they don't answer they park the car over yonder. Anyway, I marched to my car to find that the key wasn't in there. Now I have to go back to the building. They had to ask this person and that person and the other person who cleaned my car and get the manager to locate my key. If they had to do that, clearly there's a flaw in the system. While the manager was there, I told her that I had been waiting while my car was finished and she gone ask me if I was on the phone. Well, I wasn't on the phone. Further, I know when I hear my name. Still further, I was ready for my name to be heard so I could leave. Maybe the worker car whispered my name. I don't have a hearing problem and perhaps an intercom system would be appropriate instead of just relying on someone's soft vocals. You know what? Let's just say that I was so absorbed with waiting that I didn't hear my name called. Shouldn't more effort be made to find the owner just as a matter of good customer service? Then, the cleaning job was mediocre at best. A wet rag was left on my seat and when I opened my back door, I spied two huge Chipotle tortilla chips under the driver's seat (from when I was eating in my car last week). I was there for an hour. We brought a brand new car here minutes after buying the car FRESH off the lot as literal as it sounds. No dings chips or nothing We made the mistake of taking it to this facilities automatic car wash and we ended up having Chips on our windshield. We contacted the manager as soon as we noticed. They had us chase Ed Wacowski for about 2 weeks for him to tell us he doesn't believe that it happened. Even though we have pictures with time stamps. AVOID AT ALL COST. nothing but corrupt snakes and Ed is the worst of them. They don't have the balls to accept responsibility I don't care if you don't believe me you obviously won't for the sake of the business . I am telling you it happened. Visited 09/28/17 11:40am (11:55 according to the original receipt) Visited this location on my off day to treat my new car to a nice wash. Got the gold plus interior ($28) with leather conditioner (+$40). Came inside to pay and the price jumped to 108. I paid, but when asked why the difference was so big the attendant stated cleaning and conditioning were two services. Since it sounded like a huge ripoff as I was nearly paying the same price for their lowest detail with not even half the service, I'd decided to just cancel that out completely and stick with a basic wash. Cool. That was until a crew member from outside ran in to inform me I'd been overcharged. No biggie, I work in customer service and things happen. Waited on manager to arrive, she refunded me the amount, and I left. 1hr 10 min total wait time. Customer service was decent. Not a single smiling face aside from woman inside ringing up people. The man who'd charged me and was ushering cars in was very sympathetic and kind despite this long line of customers to deal with. Manager was brisk but offered a very automatic customer service feeling (like "I know we messed up but I'm busy" feeling). The actual car wash? Not impressive, especially for 70 bucks. The wash left small scratches on clear coat that I buffed out. I should have bought my own leather conditioner myself for the 40 bucks as the seats were barely wiped down, there were some specks I wiped off with a wet paper towel from home. The rearview mirror and windshield had smudges, but I didn't expect it to get wiped down so it's both a hindrance and a plus. The interior vacuum was a joke. My car still had plastic lining in it, the main reason I went was to get a mess up from under my passenger seat. My coworker had dropped her protein powder in my car, and not just a scoop but a tub of it, and just from reaching a hand into the side near the seatbelt you'd get powder on your fingers. After inspecting the car at home I noticed it was still under the seat. All in all, I'll likely never go to another Mr. Clean and am currently looking for a new car wash, hence the late review. read more

I was very excited when MrClean reopened on Shallowford Rd in Marietta. I stopped on my way home to get my car washed. It was much more expensive and they did a really awful job, I believe due to using dirty rags. I used to pay 21,minus a Sr. discount, this time I paid 26, no discount. And for 26.00 I didn't even get tire shine. I asked for them to take extra care on my windows Drove off and hit the sun and they were streaky and looked like they had had a smoker in the car. "I don't smoke" I think they have gotten to big for their britches, I don't care how much you have to pay your help or how extensive your renovation was. The bottom line is a quality job. I usually come here to get my car vacuumed and today did not have a good experience. The manager Mr Hernandez was rude talking over me when I simply was trying to ask him questions. His son who also worked their was trying to explain to his father what I needed and Mr Hernandez was so rude to the young man it left a horrible taste in my mouth. As far as the detail work their are still crumbs in my seat that I had to later wipe down w a towel so what does that tell you??? Not worth the money or gas to drive over their. Okay, okay...this was once Carnett's Car Wash, and they sold out to Mr. Clean. I remember the days when Mr. Carnett would pull up his Cadillac for a wash and wax. He was awesome and kept the business super sharp and on task. Recently, I was a little disappointed in certain aspects of this once grand car wash in Lawrenceville. First, they took away my Buff N Shine, you that wonderful waxing stall at the very back of the car wash. They do a hand wax now, but I just don't see the illustrious shine on our truck that I saw with the special Buff N Shine. Also, as we pulled into the actual car wash garage for the SUPER wash, it stunk like old water. Now, the boys who worked on the wax were very attentive don't get me wrong, but the cashier was little miss sunshine, and yes I am being sarcastic. Also, the big thing is that they had us clean out the chunks of vomit before they even started cleaning! We went there so we wouldn't have to do it ourselves!Really disappointed.. you should pay us for having us do parts of YOUR work! The Mr. Clean at Norcross just started right away when we had puke in the car. Really bad service and if you want to do parts of the clean up yourself, you can go here! Already really upset that someone threw up in the car and this place makes it worse! The Norcross location made sure we didn't have to worry about it so we will go to the other location even though it's a but further away. Never coming back.. if this this a chain car wash store, you need to work on customer service to make you stand out beyond the rest, not be lazy and think people will go to you because of the name brand. Always a good experience here! Everyone is always very nice and the service is generally fast. The line can get a little long but I've never been here longer than 30 minutes. This carwash is a drive-thru and you can add additional services and be mini-detailed by a crew. I typically get the $28 wash which includes from their groupon: A complete inner vacuuming and wipe-down will evict crumbs from console crannies and eliminate any road rage that may have dripped onto the floor mats. The exterior will then be washed, wiped, and armed with a coat of surface protectant, triple-shine polish, underbody rust inhibitor, and wheel guard, thus readying your car for harsh summertime elements such as heavy rain, extreme temperatures, and mud-slinging space invaders. In the interest of pleasing your nose's taste buds, a palate-pleasing air freshener will top off the service. I typically go once a week however, I just found out that sell monthly subscriptions that will save me a lot. read more

I cannot be more disappointed with my car wash services. Of course when I first drove off the car was still wet so it was slightly difficult for me to see the horrible job they did, and I also did not think that I needed to go back and inspect their work but I definitely should have. Upon me getting home and looking in my backseat, it was very evident that they never wiped off or even attempted to vacuum my backseat, and all of the dirt was still there from before I even arrived. The only interior cleaning they did was wash off my mats, and even that still had a bunch of grass and dirt on it because all they did was rinse it off. The outside of my car has a matte finish, and I confirmed with them before they started that they are comfortable with doing Matte finishes, however my car now has spray marks on it from some product they used. I paid for in interior cleaning and exterior hand wash, and unfortunately not only did I waste my money but it was a complete rip off. Highly do not recommend and would not return. I am now going to have to pay someone else to wash my car properly and also do the inside of my car correct. I've been going to this car wash for at least 4 years now and so far I've been somewhat pleased. It's not anything special, aside from the waiting area that is filled with snacks, drinks, and convenient merchandise for your car. The customer service is great and they do a good job at cleaning the outside of your car, however they do an absolute terrible job at cleaning the inside. Every single time I get my interior cleaned, they miss multiple spots, including the entire back seat and floors of my car. It's almost as if they don't care to do their jobs and clean your car the way they are suppose to. If you love your car skip this place. With the crap load of rain we've gotten this weekend was a perfect time to was my car. I've always driven by Mr. Clean Car Wash but gave it a chance....and I'll continue to drive by it not giving it another chance. The bad: This car wash really hurt my soul. I spent $16 on a car was but the results were more of a $8 wash. There were various spots my vehicle was not scrubbed and didn't get all road residue. This is probably the worst leftover residue experience that I've had at a car wash. The things that scrubs (more like scratches) up your car are these plastic tentacles that don't really get the job done. When you drive by these tentacles it feels like your car is getting beat up and my kids thought the same thing. Those tentacles hurt my soul because at the end of it I could spot scratches that were not there before. If you like the outside of your car I advice you to take it else where that has microfiber tentacles. This place really made me reconsider car washes and ask what type of tentacles they use before paying for a wash. The tires had spots where the tire shine was applied and at the most 1/4 of the tire was covered. The good: The vacuums were good and probably the best part of the wash but they are not worth the car wash. Overall not worth the money or the extra scratches. read more
