Had the most bizarre, rude experience there (and heard some really weird lying in the process). I walked in and asked if I could get a dress altered, and the woman there immediately said they only tailored length and would not do any other alterations. I said I was confused, since my sister had gotten a dress altered at their shop the week before (she was the one who recommended the place!), so she let me try my dress on -- and then immediately said "Your dress looks fine the way it is, it doesn't need anything, anyway we don't do any alterations here." The dress was literally falling off my shoulders. I have no idea what the issue was, since they've altered dresses for multiple family members before, so I know she was lying. I hadn't said anything to her before coming in, it was hours before closing, and the store was empty, so I have no idea why she just refused to even discuss tailoring the dress and wanted me to leave. (And what kind of tailor shop doesn't do alterations, anyway?). Guess I'll be giving my money to a place that actually does what the shop says it will. read more

Please don't use this place. There are several in the area that are better. I went in to get a jumpsuit tailored, easy job, just taken in at the top about 1/2 inch around the bust. There was a seam and my grandmother used to do this all the time for some of my tops. This place is open late, so I figured, give it a shot. I walked in and the woman at the desk was incredibly rude, before I even pulled out the jumpsuit. She immediately looked at it and said "Can't do it," and then brought the jumpsuit back to the tailor. I guess they had a short conversation to confirm, where she THREW my clothes at me and repeated "Can't do." I was shocked, and also surprised. I'll never go here again. read more

First of all took me 10 minutes to find this store, poor visibility and located in the most awkward and out of the way place in the mall. Secondly the sign is horrible, you can walk by the store easily. Besides that the people there are friendly and professional. They do a good job but are overpriced. I paid 35 dollars in April to get my dress pants tapered and yesterday they charged me 40 a pair. Instead of a repeat customer discount or giving a discount for giving them two pairs this time, I paid more than what I did the first time I went there. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They don't deserve a rating at all!!The moment my daughter and I entered the shop the lady was rude, no greetings at all.Grabbed the dress and told me what I wanted. I told the lady I need the dress to be altered then with a nasty tone of her voice she said " I have to check the dress first and give you the price." So I said ok ( still keeping my composure) When she gave me the price of $70 which I agreed then she asked my daughter to changed and try the dress. Then while I was trying to explained to the lady what I wanted to be done in the dress she told me to make up my mind and she didn't have time for this and walked away. I was shocked for her to tell to a customer " I don't have time for this" is unacceptable. I told the rude lady never mind I will go somewhere else. I told her she will get a bad review about this incident and I will never recommend this place to my friends. Then she got some nerve to call for the security telling me I was fighting with her. She even told them that was recorded so I told her go and lets review the camera so we can see who was telling the truth.. Good thing the head of security Mr Castor was nice and apologetic about the incident. He even suggested to us another store the QUAILS. Staffs were very accommodating especially Mr Moustafa and their tailor so I suggest instead of going to MR CUSTOM TAILOR go to this store QUAILS. Stress free. read more

I was very happy with the service and will definitely be using them again. I will upgrade to 5 stars if repeat business goes as smoothly. They were able to shorten the sleeves, affix working buttons, and hem my suit in a very short period of time. Price was acceptable as well. Quality service and quick too! read more

When I walked in the woman said they do same day tailoring but when she started to ring me up the man was yelling over her yelling "2 weeks" and the woman then just walked away and wouldn't help me! I was telling a friend about my HORRIBLE experience with how rude they were and she said It's good I left because they RUINED her hem on her jeans. Smartest idea! A tailor right in the mall!!! Go shopping and then get your clothing altered! And a great tailor to boot! And fast! I shouldn't really be writing this review as the secret will be out and they may not have such a quick turnaround! This is a terrible tailor. They claim to do alterations while you wait which is false advertising. They told me a simple hem on a jacket sleeve they could not do. A second time I asked for a patch to be seen on a shirt- they said it would be $50 "hard to do", my local dry cleaner did it in 1/2 hr for $12. Hands down the worst customer service. So quick to charge and not tell you what they doing. Just say " big job" when it is an easy fix. Would never step foot in there for anything. As far as im concern this shop should be banned and never allowed to have their business up and running.. the rudest people you will ever encounter. You wont even want to peep at this store for you will be welcome not with "hi can we help you " but with a nasty remark and miserable faces that you regret even looking at their store. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERRRRRRR I don't even know how they do with the actual tailoring because they pretty much kicked me out. I brought in a dress that was a little too big for my waist area. AS SOON AS I showed the dress to the guy, he goes "it's expensive." HELLO? Who are you to tell me that it's expensive or not? You don't even know me. I could be a millionaire for all you know. That instantly threw me off, then he just turns away and leaves me hanging at the front desk all by myself. I should've left then too... But for the benefit of doubt, I decided to do it for oh-so-expensive-$60 (I was expecting it to cost at least $50). I shouted to them "I'll do it" and they shout back to me "when do you need it by". I answered in a week - I had to get it fixed in a week since it's a bridesmaid dress for a wedding which I explained as well. Then he abandons me once again, saying "No, we can't do it. Dresses take at least 2~3 weeks." HE NEVER LOOKED BACK AT ME. I understand that they have their timeline that they follow. I get it. But you know, I could've offered to pay a little extra to get it done in a week IF IT WASN'T FOR THEIR RUDENESS. I couldn't even bring up to say anything else since he never looked back out to me. I had to pack all my stuff and left just like that. As I come to think of it now, I think he wasn't confident enough to take on my dress. But if you can't even take a dress, you really shouldn't own a tailor shop... Just saying... P.S - Oh, just to add, I signed up to Yelp JUST SO I CAN WRITE THIS REVIEW. I had a dress that was a little big in the chest area. I brought it in and they told me they would be unable to take it in because there was no seam, when there clearly was a seam. Very rude about it and offered absolutely no help. Obviously not very good tailors if they can't take in a dress, I would do it myself but I'm at school in NY and don't have my sewing machine here. I brought it to a sweet old italian women at Moda Alterations and she had it done for me in less than a week. Really couldn't believe a tailor turned me away for such a simple fix. read more

Amazing service. Got two pairs of pants altered on two separate occasions, both were finsihed in a half hour. Can't beat that.

I had 2 pair of pants tailored here a year ago (suit and khakis pants). It took about a week but I was pretty happy with the results. Now a year later, I go back to get 5 pair of khakis pants tailored and the woman said she couldn't do them, even though when I called she said she could do khakis pants. I wanted the legs to be slimmer and she said she would have to cut the whole pant open and couldn't do that because of the seam on the khakis. She did the same thing to my khakis pants a year ago so I'm not sure why this was any different. She was also kind of rude about it and treated me like I was crazy wanting to make these pants slimmer. I would've given them a lot of business but if they don't want it then fine. Never going back there. Plus it's in the middle of the Roosevelt Field mall so it's a pain to get to. read more
