They have everything you're ever looking for in a traditional donut shop. It seems like a family run business too, which is always super awesome to support. I didn't know what everything was because there is no signage. But ask the friendly staff and they are more than happy to explain everything. We got four donuts and it came out to about $10. And we got some bonus donut holes as a surprise! The caramel old fashion was dense, sweet, and a perfect pairing to coffee. I also tried their apple cinnamon donut, their apple fritter, and a long john. You couldn't get a better donut; super soft and pillowy. They had so many regulars too, which makes me want to become a fellow regular!

Wow! We stopped by on a whim to grab donuts for the kids after their lab draw. I knew from the line out the door and the sweet smell of sugar that this was the place to be. Upon entry, we were greeted cheerfully and grabbed 6 amazing donuts and 2 kolaches. Upon getting home we found they threw in some donut holes as well, which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for being awesome, making AMAZING fresh donuts and being so kind! We'll be back for sure!

Sweet. Savory. Perfect sized. Colorful. Traditional. Delicious. The best of the best. All words to describe the deliciousness I noshed on yesterday morning, and really the perfect way to start the day! We arrived around 10am and despite the late hour, the case was filled with freshly made donuts ready for noshing. Because everything looked delicious, we opted to order a half dozen of maple bacon, cinnamon roll, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate cake and an apple fritter. A variety of hot sandwiches and kolache's are available as well - if you're in a hot breakfast traditional mood, but the donuts are seriously delicious. Staff was extremely friendly and professional - allowing us ample time to determine our order, smiled and made us feel right at home. The space is tiny, but mighty and has a small dining area which we took advantage of. Order in person, via delivery or online and you're good to go! Thank God this spot is close to home, as it will be my new favorite spot for donuts!

Mr Donuts is where you go when you want a good, old fashioned donut. One day, I will actually venture to the store but for now, I find myself ordering them via Yelp which is so darn easy. Maybe too easy! I'm a sucker for a solid cake donut and they certainly have them. My favorite is the blueberry but red velvet and salted caramel put up a good fight. Besides that, we've tried the croissant donut (cronut?), glazed, cinnamon roll, and more. I love how they throw in a couple of free donut holes to really round out your sampling! My delivery is always super speedy which is appreciated in the morning. It's all very affordable, even when the service feeds are tacked on. I'm so happy I found Mr. Donuts and am already looking forward to many mornings together!

Wow! What an incredible surprise. I had never tried donuts in the Denver area and wanted to find a good location. Trusting the Yelp recommendations in the area I stopped in to Mr Donut early on a Sunday morning and was greeted by the most friendly service and arguably best donuts I've ever experienced. Also had one of the most amazing sunrises in recent memory. Highly recommended!

Excellent service, so so donuts. I have been here a few times and like another reviewer said, there are slim pickings when it comes to donut shops in Lone Tree. The donuts they serve here are a bit underwhelming and flat, not the worst donuts but definitely not the best by any stretch. It's a great local spot, they serve coffee and sausage rolls as well, and they will definitely please kids. However, if you are used to eating at Lamars or Voodoo donuts you will be disappointed. It seems like what they serve here could be considered a "light" donut, as in the dough feels light, the glaze is not too sweet and overall its just a bit flat to me, maybe it's because they are using 100% vegetable oil to fry. They offer a Cronut style donut which was actually really tasty, but their plain glazed and old fashioned left a lot to be desired. If you are looking for a great local donut spot this is it, if you want the best donut in town look elsewhere. They get an extra star because they usually give me a free bag of donut holes with my order of a single donut. The customer service here can't be beat. read more

Fabulous donuts and friendly owners who do great special orders. They spelled out Happy Easter and made some easter egg looking donuts for our celebration today. Many people asked where I found the donuts. So good and made by good people makes them even better. My husband said the apple fritter is by far the best selection. I love the red velvet! read more

This place is AMAZING!!! Went in for a boba tea, try the Taro, it's delish! Well, I had some donuts and it was 2:30 in the afternoon, donuts were still soft and really good! I was really impressed and I bet they are even better when newly made in the morning! They also have really great customer service, very friendly! I almost walked out...wait time ridiculous- 10 minutes with one other customer to get a dozen doughnuts??? They were not even done at 7:00 am with making them or putting them out??? One person working the whole store obviously is not enough. They did give a free doughnut to compensate and asked for a tip...at least the doughnuts were moist. Not the best I have had but ok. read more

I love this doughnut shop! One of the best in town. The homemade barvarian cream is incredible, and they fill them on the spot. I also really like the apple fritters. The staff is super sweet. I buy doughnuts for clients on a regular basis, and will never buy from crappy Krispy Kreme again! read more

I thought, why in the world would someone open a donut shop near a Krispy Kreme, Panera, and Starbucks, so finally stopped in. And I can see why... They have the standards like glazed, filled, fritters, but also the specialty ones like bacon maple and cro-doughs. So glad they are here in my neighborhood. read more

Made my first visit to the shop today, and it was AWESOME!!!!! I ordered Happy Birthday letter donuts for my daughter, and not only were the donuts perfectly amazing, the customer service was outstanding!! I mistakenly forgot to pick my order up before they closed on a Sunday, needed the donuts for Monday, but they called me, and the sweet lady waited for me to arrive about 30 minutes later (I was on the other side of town). She was super pleasant, even though I was late, and she even offered to dirty up the filling machine for me to fill an extra donut I purchased, though I told her that was quite alright, I'd just eat it without filling. It's hard these days to find good customer service, but I found that at Mr. Donuts. I will definitely be visiting this store for all my kiddos birthday treats, and anytime I just want a great donut!! I love doughnuts and finally decided to venture out to try Mr. Doughnut and I am thrilled that I did. They are out of my way and I drive by a few other good doughnut places to get there, however, they are certainly worth the drive. I tried traditional, buttermilk, cake, and a croughnut which were all well done. Most of the croughnut doughnuts I have I don't actually like but Mr. Doughnuts nails it. They are light and flakey with nice layering and flavor. The fritters looked great too and I will want to try them later but was already getting plenty of doughnuts today. I highly recommend Mr. Doughnuts to others. read more

The service alone is 5 stars but the donuts are even better. They were very accommodating to my daughter who has a tree nut allergy, pulling fresh donuts from the back just to be safe. Lots of free donut holes. The two women who were working there were great. read more

My daughter-in-law told me about this wonderful little donut shop. Upon arriving, I couldn't believe the fabulous aroma! The service was so personal and friendly. They have a huge variety for such a small store - croissant donuts (cronuts), cream-filled, glazed, cake donuts, apple fritters, croissant breakfast sandwiches, donut holes, special holiday donuts, etc, etc. They fill the cream-filled donuts in front of you when you order them! It seems to be a family operated business and if so, huge kudos to the kids for being so polite and professional on an early weekend. I'm from socal and in the 90's a lot of us helped our parents at their small businesses; this place gave me that wholesome vibe. I wish them much success.

My hotel was right across the parking lot from Sierra, and even though it was snowing and close to closing, I called in an order and walked over to grab it. The crew was incredibly nice and made sure everything was packed up and ready to go. Other than me nearly freezing to death because I showed up completely unprepared, the meal back in my room was excellent. Really good food, great service, and a perfect first stop after a very rude welcome from Colorado weather. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be eating here again.

The chef just can't seem to get the French Dip correct…read more Ordered medium came out rare as could be and everything was cold even the server couldn't believe. She's always great. We go in a few times a month and we quit ordering the French dip but went in for lunch today and tried again. The second one was completely well done and chewy. Luke warm at best and fries were hot. We will give Sierra a break for awhile. French Dip at 40 dollars should be spot on especially if they make it twice. All other meals we have had are always hot and good. Very disappointed!!

They open at 5:30 am on weekdays. On your way to work you can grab a dozen donuts or a bunch of donut holes and be the most popular person for the day. This is not a chain store, friendly family owned. They have other breakfast-like food but the donuts are the best choice. The only draw back to this location is the parking. Hard to find any. read more

This local, family-run donut shop is better than anywhere else around. The whole place has a positive atmosphere, and you can't help but smile! I also like that they'll custom fill any donut for you, and they include free donut holes. There is a very wide selection of resonably priced donuts and breakfast sandwiches that are always fresh. read more

I am crazy for donuts! These donuts are fresh and soft! Never old or too dense! They are baked fresh every morning! Go in early if there's a specific kind you want. The owners are super friendly and they even give you free donut holes with your order. Hands down my favorite place in Colorado! read more
