Great place to catch some authentic Greek food! Lamb was great as was the pita wrap.Thoroughly enjoyed every bite!. Happy to find a place to sit on this hot day.

The food was fresh, warm and tasty. The line was a bit long but moved rather quickly. Seating is limited. We were watching as ppl would finish up eating and swarm in on the table to take ownership. It was a must mentality if you wanted a seat to sit down and stuff your face with some yummy goodness! Check it out. I appreciated the flavors of the chicken gyro and seasonings. Fries were light and crispy. The pyllo dough was warm and flaky. The goodies were fresh as well.

Came for lunch at Pike Place Market to get some Greek food. In the market there's a few places to get falafel, hummus, and other classic Greek items. Mr. D's is one of these. Has most of the favorites of Greek cuisine. There's the menu plus you can get a few grocery items for later. At lunch it was already busy. It's a place that has order at the counter. There's a few tables outside if wanting to eat here. Has a pretty impressive menu of classics. We got a few things. It's about $10 for the Falafel Gyro. This has a choice of hummus or tzatziki, along with a topping of fresh vegetables. A lot of healthier items including the Vegetarian Platter. This has dolmathes, falafel, hummus, pitas, spanakopita, and tyropita. Also you can get a few groceries. There's dolmathes, feta, olives and more. Best place around here for classic Greek. It's located on Pike Place. There's things for meat eaters as well as vegetarians.

It can get very busy here, with everyone walking trying to get through to other shops and restaurants. But what are you to expect, with the location of the restaurant right at Pikes place. It was pretty hard to find a place to sit with some shade. Alright, so with the food. I thought the lamb gyro was good. The sauce inside the gyro was good and not so tangy. Which was good and they gave lots of meat! I mean, my gyro was pretty much spilling over when I was eating. The only thing that I didn't like much was our fries. We ordered the original fries and unfortunately this came out cold!

A great tourist food spot! Everything comes out hot and ready for you. Authentic Mediterranean. I love their fries! Came on a slow week day. Busier days can be hit or miss. My friend and I's fresh bouquet. *wink* See photo

A great place for a grab and go lunch at the market. We got our food relatively quickly. The traditional style lamb yeero had great flavors (with the exception of the tomatoes, which were a little bland and gritty). But the lamb was perfect, the bread was fresh, and the rest of the veggies gave it a nice crunch. I appreciated the way the yeero was wrapped and that you get a fork to eat.

Quick, delicious Greek food! The line was pretty long when I went on a Saturday afternoon but it moved pretty quickly and I got my food within minutes of ordering. I ordered the chicken gyro which was great. The chicken was flavorful and the pita was soft. Would def recommend checking this place out if you're in the Pike Place area!

Fantastic fresh falafel and Mr D is so cute and nice. I love how the sauces were fresh and kind of thin so they coated the falafel which was very moist well. Service was friendly. Ambience was amazing

Terrible. Not seasoned. The meat texture was strange. The white sauce had no flavor whatsoever, very bland. All stars deducted.

    Sharon F.

Solid gyro place. Finally got to try after walking past so many times and being tempted by the delicious smells. Very solid gyro, they give a good amount per serving! The sauce was delicious. The mango lemonade was too sweet. They have seating right in front of the restaurant which is really nice. Good gyro, but there's definitely better ones in Seattle.

Highly recommend the three dip (current seasons is beet and it's my fav) with the flat bread. The flat bread comes out steaming. Trumpet mushroom is Smokey and juicy. However after we expressed that we didn't want to wait that long, we were told that if we wanted outdoor seating they could actually seat us in less than half an hour. We chose the outdoor seating option and took a quick stroll in the quiet neighborhood before coming back. Our server told us that Homer's plates are meant to be family style and shared so their general recommendation is 1 large plate or 2 small plates per person. For us, we ordered the Set of top 3 spreads, lamb ragu on tahini and we were served with 5 pieces of warm pita. We also ordered Grilled Pork with Stinging nettles, raw albacore tuna with taramasalata, and smoked and shaved kohlrabi. Our server warned us that the pork was going to be on the fatty side but we were still surprised by how fatty it was. The spreads for the pita were amazing as usual-- their seasonal flavors taste amazingly fresh. Our table wanted to order more pita and when someone came by to take the empty plate they asked if we wanted more which we did let them know but even by the time we finished all the plates, we never got the additional pita so we just took it off. The Kohlrabi was an amazingly refreshing palette cleanser before the pork-- super light and refreshing. After we finished our meal we grabbed some soft serve from the window and wow, for 7$ it's quite a lot of ice cream! The flavors that were offered when we were there was Dark Chocolate and Kettlekorn. I sampled the swirl and the fusion of the saltiness of the kettle korn, the slight bitter and sweetness of the dark chocolate was immaculate. Final thoughts: very cool experience, inside I could see the open kitchen and the stone wood fired oven and the ingredients tasted amazing. However it is a little inconvenient that it's walk in unless you're a party of 6 since the lines and wait can get incredibly long. It's also difficult to find parking in the area. Very neat experience!

I got a build-my-own saj wrap with the mushroom base saj $6, sumac chicken $7, tomato $1.5, cucumber $1.5, pickled turnip $1, and a side of hot sauce $2. The saj bread itself tasted good, but got soaked through by the juice of the chicken and became very soggy. We walked to a park 10 minutes away to eat the wraps and the wraps were bending. The ingredients are fresh but nothing particularly stood out. I didn't quite taste the mushroom on the wrap, and on top of that, I got charged $2 for the hot sauce, but never tasted it in the wrap or found it on the side. My partner got the falafel saj wrap which was overall ddcent, but he also found the saj bread quite soggy, yet the falafels were on the dry side.

The signature saj bread is cooked fresh on a hot stone and is almost like a Middle Eastern flour tortilla with the way it's super thin and satisfyingly chewy bite. The only seating options are a few large benches on the sidewalk, but there's a poster saying you're welcome to sit at the neighboring bar which opens in the late afternoon provided you purchase a drink as well. Ended up sampling 3 of their wrap options and the Zaatar Wrap was deliciously nutty and fragrant, but texturally there was so many herbs that the center ate a little dry. The Lahme Khuruf (Lamb) was my favorite by far with super juicy ground meat with some tang from the labneh, sweetness, freshness from the tomato, and texture from the pine nuts. Absolute home run on this one! The Awarma and Cheese was a close second, but personally, the flavor profile was just a little less interesting than the lamb. Tip: grab some extra napkins as the wraps can fall apart a bit at the end!
