If you are starving, hungover, and need food fast, DO NOT go to Mr. Everything, lol. I ordered the Grilled Chicken and Rice Dish served with grilled onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, spinach and topped with 3 cheese and diced tomatoes. My brother ordered the same thing and cleaned his plate. I couldn't get 4 bites down due to having a hangover. I'm so disappointed I didn't get to enjoy the food but I will be back to leave another review. The service and everything else was great but I wish they would have told me there is only refills on juice and not the soda because they come in cans. No biggie. read more

Heard great things about this place for a long time, so I finally decided to visit since it's close to my employer. Ok first off, please order your food in advance, especially if you have a short lunch break. The food is cooked fresh to order, so depending on what you get it can take a while. I ordered the Mr. Everything special with shrimp and chicken. It came with yellow rice, spinach, mushrooms, broccoli, cheese and tomatoes. You get two sauces on the side. I opted for spicy creole and ranch and I ordered a fruit punch. The food was delicious and fresh. The chicken was flavorful but the shrimp and rice were just there. Adding the sauce is a definite help. Next time I'll order extra because the two was not enough. The fruit punch was sweet, a little too sweet for my taste. I'm glad I got a chance to try this ATL staple. Next time tho I'm calling in my order. I waited about 35 minutes for my food which didn't leave much time to eat and ran over at the meter. read more

Came here during a weekday around 4 it was fairly busy; if you've never ate here ask questions . I usually get a yellow rice plate and it's to DIE FOR. Full of flavor I get the shrimp and salmon rice plate with chipotle ranch as my sauce. If you're in a rush i advise calling in an order. First off, customer service is on point as soon as you walk in the door til the time you leave. Everything minus the rice was cooked to order. The parking is weird because you have to pay but I park at Wal-Mart and walk over to the restaurant to place my order and wait for my food , because it's always a wait there because of the high demand and long lines. Located in the College area I go all times of the day and I never get in and out lol. I order the lamb and rice and I must say I love it with a cajun sauce and a lemonade . I placed my order online at 4:45pm I arrived at 5:30pm the time requested to pick up. I did not receive my order until 6:50pm. I was very disappointed in the wait time and the customer service. Definitely a fan of Mr. Everything and have been coming here for several years. It seems like they are always pretty busy so expect to wait around 15 minutes for your order and their new location is pretty small so it can get pretty cramped inside waiting. I had to deduct a star though because on my recent visit on a Friday night, I came here for the grilled chicken rice dish, but they ended up being out of spinach, bell peppers, broccoli and several of their dressings. The reason why I'm giving this location is Below Today, I went to this location for food. The cashier looked at me and instead of taking my order, she takes the person's order behind me. After standing there for ten mins, she asked "are you placing an order" in which I then responded "yes". At that point, she proceeded to point and stated "place your order down there"...... after walking to the next cashier, she the previous one proceeded to take the order of the next person that was behind me again. They serve subs, salads, wraps, burgers & dogs, and rice plates. I'm all about the chicken over yellow rice, with everything except mushrooms. Be forewarned-It's enough food to feed 2 hungry people...maybe 3 slim folks. The one star is solely for the cheesesteak sandwich that I ordered...i hate to say it but it tasted very good. I wish Yelp allowed us to rate each part of the house individually, from the hosts to the cooks (if you have any interactions with them) 'cause my experience at Mr. Everything was terrible!! However the cook was polite and seemed concerned. The way the restaurant is set up is quite confusing when you enter especially when it's crowded. People are all gathered at the entrance and you would assume that's where you'd place your order but no. I was completely disoriented and both cashiers who could visibly see my confusion didn't even welcome me nor tell me where you place your order. After wondering, I figured out that apparently you just have to shout it over the glass to the cooks. The gentleman cook was nice and patiently helped me out with my order, as a first timer here. Then you kinda of just have to slide on down to the cashier to pay. Those two women were total bitches! The sign says they offer student discounts. I guess they changed their mind once it was time for me to pay! 'Cause she told me no, in the most rudest, ghettoest tone ever! I work at least two miles from this establishment. One of my co workers recommended this place a million times and decided to go for lunch. This is one of the original 4 locations they have. Parking is street paid and free after 5 pm, Or if you are too cheap to pay for parking you can park at Walmart across the street. Inside the place is small and cramped during lunch time. Seating is located in a separate room . The Food.. There menu consist of huge 6inch sandwiches( hot or cold) and grilled rice bowls with assorted meats , burgers and salads. Most ordered and popular bowls consist yellow rice tomato's ,green peppers and cheese with oregano, black pepper and salt with seasoning. The service.. One word molasses . This place is not fast food. The process start at the ordering counter then receive your number. You have a option to pay at the register that in the front of the store or wait for your number to be called with your order ready and pay. Wait time is typically 30 to 45 mins .I advise not go during lunch if time is tight. They do provide delivery with Grubhub and Uber eats. Also accepts call ins but its a may issue depending if someone answers the phone. The verdict.. Beside the inefficient service and staff , and long wait times the food is really good. One word: AMAZING! My cousin and I went to the location on MLK *across from Walmart* which is in a rough area of town but also the college area. We went inside and ordered food to go. The girl who took our order; Jasmine, was very, very helpful. She explained to us the most popular dishes and was just overall informative. Here's the kicker: MAKE SURE you are not in a hurry because the food is made FRESH to order. It takes about 20-25 minutes no more than 30 minutes to order and wait in the food. They don't have ranch or yum yum sauce but they have other flavors such as chipotle ranch that is just as good. Only bad thing is the drinks are not included but they are not crazy expensive so you'll be fine. You should pay no more than $20, depending on what you order. The steak, shrimp, and chicken rice plate is an EXCELLENT choice for those whom are reading this. They also have lamb and salmon. You get a Togo plate FULL of food. Right when i stepped in the door there was a very friendly cashier who said," Are you Kelly we have your order ready for you!" Im like wow she remembered my name.....she's very sweet...and she does a good job of keeping the line moving. I decided to try Mr. Everything's lemonade also. I got home excited to try Mr. Everythings "Famous Grilled Chicken" and i'm not sure what is soo famous about it? There was nothing special about the grilled chicken and the rice was kind of nasty. Yo. So a few weeks ago iI'm in Atlanta shooting a documentary on the trap music scene and street culture there, fun stuff! One of my subjects, a super talented music producer named C4 put me and my crew on to Mr. Everything and I text him at least once a week about how AMAZE-BALLS that Shrimp & Salmon w. veggies over rice dish was. Holy shit! STR8 CRACK... We easily dropped a Benji on the food plus tip. The service is unbelievably slow but who cares, its great food and the guys on the grill are RELENTLESS they attack the food like finely trained soldiers. They are also mad cool, one even looks like Rich Homie Quan... I used to hate Atlanta, but this time I wasn't mad, thanks to this place and the fact that I didn't get shot at like last time I was there... but that was my own fault for being in a strip club past 3AM and thinking a girl that gorgeous didn't have a girlfriend. Every time I come here I get a hot sub with steak, chicken, shrimp, spinach, broccoli, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and they slam a bunch of mayo and honey mustard on the subs too. The food is good, not healthy by any means at all, but a nice diet splurge. The food is cooked to order and there is usually a short wait, so expect to spend at least 15-20 minutes when coming here to order. I found this hidden gem while attending a workshop in the area with some co-workers. This is an area of the city where I don't usually travel but I would definitely go out of the way to eat here again. It might look like a hole-in-the-wall type of joint but the food is anything but hole-in-the-wall quality. I had the lamb gyro, which is one the best I've had in the city. The tips: 1. Parking is on the street which means you may have to pay a little bit to eat here. 2. Simple dining room so don't expect it to look like a regular restaurant. You order at the counter, pay at the cashier, and an employee will bring your food to you. It's not standard wait service so you'll have to go back to the counter for more food or drink. 3. The have combo meals but it's up to you what to get. I'm just going to stick with water because the iced tea/lemonade definitely tasted like a pre-made mix (not a fan of mixes at all). 4.
