The food was really good overall. These fries were loaded and flavorful - crispy, seasoned well, and topped perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Definitely hit the spot and worth trying if you're in the area.

I always wanted to try Mr. Fries Man from looking on instagram. We came on New Year's Eve. It was a lot of people that came all over for the Peach Drop. It was a huge turn out and I had fun. We ordered the Honey Garlic shrimp and steak regular size. It was enough for 2 people. I wished the fries were crispy. The flavor was good but it made the fries soggy. The wait time only took 10 minutes. The place is small so i there wasn't a lot of tables to sit. But we were able to snag a spot by the window.

I ordered Philly cheesesteak. It was okay. The fries were not fresh. It is definitely filling. Customer service was ok. Parking is good late night.

Ordering was easy and fast. One of the only downtown spots open late on a weekday. The fries didn't seem that fresh the sauce was very lemony. I lost my appetite after my sister found a hair in her bbq bacon ranch fries!! Worst waste of money.

My husband picked us up some food for a quick eat as it was nearby. I ordered the bacon chicken Parmesan since it was listed as a popular option and I did not like it at all. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak fries and his was okay. Neither of us finished our food. The food was expensive and not worth the money.

We went on a Wednesday evening as a random dinner night out Location: it's on the same street as Walters, it's a very casual spot but very cute. Parking: we parked at the lot across the street cause $8.35 for 2 hrs. I'm not sure if there is other par Service: it's self service ordering, which I love for food spots like this one. When we did have a question the ppl that works there were very responsive Food: 5/10 I had the bbq bacon ranch fries, I wasn't impressed it was almost too sweet and overpowered the ranch. My boyfriend had the honey garlic steak and shrimp and it was sweet and the shrimps were not seasoned Will I be back? Yes eventually but I'm not running back

I was excited to try this restaurant, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The location is in a bad homeless area and I did not feel safe at first. The employee who took my order was very nice and offered plenty of suggestions. Since I had a coupon, I ordered two entrees. The bufflalo chicken fries and the chicken/shrimp fries. Unfortunately, both were very bland and lacked any type of taste. I was highly disappointed considering this is a black owned restaurant. Luckily, I had a coupon and didn't have to pay full price. But I will not be returning there again.

Mr Fries Man is located downtown, near Underground Atlanta and Georgia State. There's metered street parking, but it's difficult to find parking because police take up most of the parking in the area. The restaurant is small with a couple tables. Although there is someone at the register, they direct you to order and pay from the screen on the wall. They offer many different fry toppings options in regular or jr size. They are pretty pricey though. I did a custom order of lemon garlic crab fries, because I did not want the shrimp. The fries came out quickly and looked good, but was missing a little something. I think it could've had a little more flavor. The jr size was more than enough for me.

This is custom made fries buried under shrimp, chicken, chili with mango habanero sauce. I call it Five Feet Under. If you know you know.

The chicken was alright, but I wouldn't say it was the best I ever had, let alone consider it the world's best. This joint is located in the lower hub, but I believe there's also an outside street entrance. Upon entering, we were told to sit anywhere. The interior is rather dim, and it wasn't super clean as there were still some crumbs on our table from the last people who dined there. There is also a very casual feel to the place, exemplified by the fact that food is served on styrofoam plates and paper trays. FOOD: 2-Piece Dark (Thigh & Leg) (4/5) - Chicken was nice and crispy, but nothing crazy special to me. I was expecting it to be spicier. Liked it more with the Louisiana hot sauce on the table. The chicken rests on a slab of white bread and is served with average slaw and sweet baked beans. Fried Okra (3.5/5) - First time having fried okra. Not bad, and I guess frying it eliminates the slimy texture associated with okra. SERVICE: I am not usually one to complain about service. The person who served us was sweet when we did interact, but it was so hard to get their attention to order and get the bill. But beyond that, the kitchen was noticeably SLOW. My brother and I literally only ordered one plate/portion to share since we wanted to try more places, but it took over half an hour to receive our food. They do emphasize that food is cooked to order, but I still found the wait to be baffling. TLDR// Come here or don't, but if you do, make sure you are not on a time crunch. Maybe I am just being harsh because I was expecting more from a place claiming to have the world's best.

The answer now, as then, is "What'll ya have?"? Of course you have to get a couple of hot dogs with chili and cole slaw, with a side of fresh chopped onions and some mustard to add to the heart burn. Some onion rings, and a Frosted Orange (ust get one, it's big enough to share with your spouse or sweetheart.) The Varsity claims to be the largest drive-in in the country, if not the world. Maybe it is. It covers two city blocks, seats 800 inside and has space for hundreds of cars. It now has eight locations around Georgia, some of them spic 'n span new, but my heart will always be on North Street in Atlanta, where the restaurant had its start in 1928. Some things have changed. Prices are up. The people that take your order seem a little more patient. And no longer are there special lines for women (and the Athens location, now closed} doesn't have to 'splain anymore why women aren't allowed inside.

You'll need to add some salt, but they're not bad. The rest of the food was awful. AWFUL. The frozen orange tastes like medicine. The chili dog was overcooked. And the chili hamburger is an abomination that should not exist. Think a combination of a crappy hamburger and the worst sloppy joe you've ever had. I just assume this place has to be trading off a nostalgia. The service was slow to the point of indifferent. Many of the tables are dirty. But, it's huge enough that you'll probably be able to find a clean table. What'll ya have? How about some syrup of ipecac.

If i did, I would be some bad ass grandpa still reviewing on Yelp at 118. This taco place named after a car is rather divisive from a review standpoint. On Google, crazy rave reviews, but on Yelp, mediocre would be an accurate description. By the time I ordered the food which was 9pm in the evening, I was just super hangry. Aside from an early breakfast, all I had all day was a donut and an ice latte. So whatever food that comes my way should be super delicious, right? The takeout took awhile to come. And the flavours were lacklustre and unauthentic. The first tell would be the tortilla. They were definitely store bought and were not corn tortillas. They were also a bit dry and hard. I had the grilled mahi mahi. The fish was ok, but overcooked. The biggest problem was the lack of sauce. Adding some salsa would have been nice. They were also very lazy with the avocado. They just put a wedge at the top of the taco filling. So every time i held onto it to take a bite, the avocado pops out. The other taco was the low country boil which is essentially a grilled shrimp taco. A lot of the taco does not match the menu description. They were supposed to use a spicy ranch sauce, but it felt like a really weak ranch with zero spiciness. They loaded up the taco with corn, but most of the other stuff including peppers and tater tots are not noticeable. Tim Lizzy is to me one of a very long list of tourist traps in the downtown Atlanta area. I wouldn't waste my time and money here.
