    Voodoo Eggroll

Stopped in for a brunch. Made reservations for 2:30. When we arrived the place was packed. The space small but has a good vibe. Music playing but you can still here each other talk. Now about the food everything and I mean everything we try was delicious. The croffle flight was the star this time. All of the flavors were delicious. Sweet without being overwhelming. Looking forward to going back

I liked Crescent City Kitchen. The food came out hot, I enjoyed everything we ordered, and our server was very friendly. It has that classic Atlanta brunch spot feel, with a darker atmosphere and black-and-red décor. We ordered the egg rolls, catfish and grits, and beignets. Everything was good, but nothing really stood out as spectacular or made me want to immediately come back for a specific dish. I visited on a weekday, but I could definitely see this place getting very busy on the weekends, so that's something to keep in mind. One nice perk is that they validate parking in the lot next door, which is a huge plus since parking in Midtown can be expensive and hard to find.

A friend recommended this spot for brunch, and I'm so glad they did! The menu is inspired by New Orleans cuisine, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Our server was fantastic and helped us navigate the menu with her recommendations, which I think I ended up following almost entirely. No regrets there! My favorite dish was easily the Voodoo Grits: creamy grits topped with their signature voodoo sauce loaded with shrimp, sausage, and crawfish. Rich, flavorful, and the kind of dish you'll be thinking about long after brunch is over ( I know I am). Will be back when in the A.

What an incredible experience. As soon as you walk into the establishment, you see this beautiful flowered rose wall that's so inviting. I turned to my left you are greeted by amazing Bartendar shaking up drinks, smiling laughing. The music is at a perfect level so you're able to still dance and shimmy in your seat while eating this amazing food. We decided to sit at the bar because Matt was just so welcoming. He knew the menus he knew exactly what to recommend. The food came out hot and ready. Let's talk about this food. OMG every single plate that came out I wanted !!we finally settled on the voodoo egg rolls you have to get it's a must. It is prepared comes to you hot full of flavor pack full of food huge eggrolls. Then I had the Billionaire Grits. OMG so freaking good. The lobster was perfectly prepared. The grits had all the flavor packed with crab meat it was absolutely amazing. My friends had the Chicken and Waffles and the waffle tasted like dessert !! the Biscoff cream, fully smooth. I literally would order that for dessert, the chicken wings oh my God, full of flavor arrived hot crispy you knew they made it as soon as you ordered it. my girlfriend also had the Creole Cajun grits full of flavor with the fried snapper on top!!amazing!! People were celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and recently engagements. It felt like I was having brunch with family members. Everyone was so warm and inviting. It's definitely intimate setting. Oh my goodness make a reservation and come on down. I will be seeing you again.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally decided to try it for my birthday. Location: it's in a nice area and it's a small place but you don't feel snug. Parking: I took uber but my friends parked in the parking deck, they validate for 2 hrs. The deck is right next door which is very convenient. Service: We had a party of 5 and made reservations we waited about 30-45 minutes because most of our party wasn't there. I don't think the wait would've been long if my ppl would've been on time. Our server was great! Everyone was pleasant and I enjoyed everything Ambience/Crowd: it's a mixed crowd and everyone had on a bit of every type of outfit. Food/drink : 10/10 I had the lamb chops with Brussels sprout and yams, voodoo egg rolls are amazing! My friends had the pasta, snapper and lamb chops. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Favorite thing: The food and the service. Least favorite thing: I didn't get to try the croffles, they were sold out. Other than that no complaints. Will I be back? Yes! I definitely wanna try the croffles.

Very friendly service - I think his name was Matt... Sat at the bar, we overlooked it being a Saturday and no reservation - whoops! The croffle flight was yum - the 3 different flavors of croffles (waffle & croissant baby), and a side of tenders - which were juicy and perfect proportion breaded (aka very lightly). A little side sauce would've jazzed it up a bit. Included 18% gratuity. Parking garage and they validate 2 free hours.

If this has been on your list, Goooo! This place is really good. From the southern Hospitality to the quality made Cajun cuisine they did not disappoint in any area. The étouffée had all the things great flavor, it did need more spice but nothing hot sauce can't fix. The lab chop cooked perfectly and the sides were unforgettable. The was a great place to end my trip to Atlanta.

My original experience was amazing. It was five stars. I was excited to come back and bring friends, so I did. It was not a good experience. I hesitated on posting this update because I understand that everyone is working hard and things happen. However, I feel like I can't only post good reviews about good experiences. So this is my updated review. We booked reservations for 4 people before a show at the Fox. Our reservations were at noon. I wasn't particularly concerned about this because I came here before another show and everything went smoothly. I was really excited to bring my friends here after our first experience. We arrived by 11:50 and checked in. It was busy at the restaurant. Parties were coming and they were going. We knew we had to be out by a certain time to make it to our show. We were patient. We were standing by the host stand and there were parties arriving that had no reservations but said the knew the hostess. They were seated before us. We waited until 12:45 and asked when we would be seated. We were told there were still three parties ahead of us and it would be another 20 minutes. It was an awful feeling and embarrassing since we had told our friends how amazing this place was. We realized that we had to abort if we were going to eat before our show and found another restaurant for brunch. This was such a disappointing experience. I understand that sometimes there is a rush. I understand that sometimes I need to wait beyond my reservation time. However, hearing other people get seated because they knew someone and jump ahead of the queue was very uncool. Especially when folks waiting in line can hear this happening after waiting 45 minutes beyond their reservation.

A slice of NOLA in the heart of ATL! Location and Parking Located in Midtown, parking is (unfortunately never) free. They do validate for 2 hours if you park in the deck closest to the entrance. Venue and Atmosphere Crescent city is small and cozy, with plenty of seating as well as a full bar. The color scheme is bold red and black, and the restrooms are spotless. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages Voodoo Eggrolls 10/10 Uptown/downtown (lobster and catfish) 15/10 Creole Catch (topped with crab cakes) 100000/10 Safe to say that the food was delicious and seasoned to perfection. Sometimes, seafood can be too salty, but not here. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Verdict This is going to become a staple in my brunch rotation, I'll be back!

My wife and I are some of the biggest brunch lovers ever, and one of our favorite things to do is find a spot that we might not have been looking for that absolutely blows us away. Crescent City Kitchen was that for us and wow wow wow was it good. Let's get into it! Location and Parking The restaurant is located on Crescent Avenue in Midtown, and as with all things in Midtown parking is never free. They are conveniently located next to a parking deck, and they do validate for 2 hours if you park in said deck. Venue and Atmosphere The venue is quaint and cozy, there is plenty of booth and table seating as well as seating at the bar, which was full. The restaurant was decorated in red and black colors with touches of gold throughout, and music filled the air, it was definitely a vibe. There were a few other patrons in the restaurant, but it did not feel crowded by any means. Service Our server was nice and attentive and all of our food came out promptly. Food and Beverages For the table we got the voodoo eggrolls and I'm still dreaming about them to this day they were so good. My wife got the uptown/downtown with mac and greens, and I got the crabcake hash. We couldn't keep our forks out of each other's plates, if that gives you any idea of how the food tastes. For drinks we each got mimosas, and we sampled some of their flavors. That peach mimosa was a breath of fresh air. Verdict I'm super glad that we stumbled upon this place, I can't wait to bring my friends here and it will definitely become part of my rotation! Until next time!

The food, the atmosphere, and the service was perfect! We got the croffle flight, voodoo egg rolls, voodoo grits, and the Cajun fried rice. Every single dish was amazing! Highly recommend this place in ATL! Great service from our host Tiara!

Our mom picked this place to celebrate her 70th birthday for a party of on/around 20 at noon this past Saturday. Things started off a little bumpy the first 20 or so min of our reservation as the tables weren't all arranged, so we had to collaborate with them on getting that settled. We were sat right in the middle of small-ish restaurant which might've not have been my top choice--perhaps in the booths in the back right corner for better comfort. But! Once the tables and chairs were situated, we were off to a good celebration. The restaurant was very lively, lots of foot traffic. The music was moderately loud, we were able to hold convo without yelling. They assigned two team members to us which was helpful. They managed on pretty well, and made sure a birthday song was done. The food was coming out at random versus like ALL appetizers at once then entrees for example--yanno to avoid that only 2 people eating while the rest are waiting? It'd be nice for them to figure out how to fire foods off to minimize or eliminate that. Also the person bringing the food when not our assigned waitress never knew who it belonged to so would have to holler out who had this? That should be fixed too. He enjoyed his tequila sunrise and I my sweet tea. They both took almost 15-20 min to come out but were good. The food overall was pretty good, our only complaint would be that everything tasted somewhat too much of the same--like while it's Cajun based, it was a very single flavor profile. We shared the voodoo egg rolls. They were , crispy, huge and tasty. If you always eat this by yourself, your back will be big. The breakfast surf and turf was almost perfect! I loved the flavor of the breakfast potatoes, my eggs were cooked well. My steak was overcooked but managed to still maintain some juiciness. The jumbo fried shrimp was crispy, actually jumbo, and flavorful. His enjoyed his chicken and biscuit dish through and through. They didn't miss with their biscuit, it was perfect. We'd return and absolutely try out other items.

    Delicious!

This place is the complete package: delicious food, high energy staff, and fantastic customer service. My youngest daughter had her birthday brunch here and was totally thrilled... I had to take a few pictures to tantalize YOU to make this a necessary visit!

Validation code will get something sent to your phone and you'll use it to negate the parking. Coming in the service was pretty good. Last time I went in it was actually pretty quiet and nobody was there so I got all the servers and bartenders to myself lol. But seriously everybody was super nice and really friendly and explained the menu very well and no complaints about that See you space cowboy - This was a pretty good and very balanced drink. I wanted something with bourbon in it so this is what I came up with from looking at the menu. Pretty solid and not overpowering at all. Salt and pepper shrimp - the salt and pepper shrimp was the star of the show to me as far as the appetizers that I had. It came with five of them but I could probably have eaten 25 of those joints. They were amazing. Out of the appetizers that I had, they were the best ones and they actually came pretty large. It's not like you got little baby shrimp. These were impactful, powerful shrimp that packed a heck of a flavor. I would 200% get these again and maybe I might get three orders of them by myself lol. Soft shell crab - the crab was good but the crab itself was only okay but the sauce in the bowl of the crab actually carried it. It's not a bad thing, but at the same time by itself it was only okay but the sauce definitely added a little extra to it. Grilled Octopus - the octopus was pretty good but at the same time it was a little more chewy than I would've liked it to be. It wasn't impossibly chewy. It was actually still pretty good. The thing that made the octopus actually pop was the sauce that came with it. The sauce was like a chili-lime sauce and that actually carried the dish itself. Without that it would've just been okay but the sauce definitely helped. The sauce went well with a couple of things actually . But I'll still order doctors again. It was actually pretty decent. Bangkok Hot fries - the fries are actually good. They had a a spice to them. That was a kick in the face but also citrusy as well. So you got a little bit of heat and citrus at the same time. They came out really good. Hot fresh and that would have been really good on a burger LOL Overall, it smells pretty good if you want small plates. This is a spot to go to now. They do have regular and large size portions, but that's not this place's bag, which is okay. If you're in the business of just trying a bunch of stuff, this is a good spot to go to because they actually have a combo where you can get a few things off of the small place menu to try and share. This is a good spot if you just want to stop in somewhere to try a few Asian dishes.
