I'm getting my tires changed next door. I walk in to get a cup of coffee, ask the girl behind the counter who looks 15 (prob owners daughter or relative, mom was chilling in the back) to try some of the coffee first before I buy it, and she gives me a super bitch face and says "no!" hmmmm....I read all of the reviews from my fellow yelpers....made the decision to check out Mr. Goods Donuts...drove across town....drove into the parking lot....looked at the dark store-front and thought....WTF? Closed on Sundays. "Do-nut" go to this place on Sunday! Now i choose to "Do-nut" go to this place at all. Who ever heard of a donut shop being closed on Sundays?! This is more than just a donut shop. They serve bagel, croissant, and baguette sandwiches. The owner is very nice. What i keep coming back for is their croissant sandwiches! Love the variations especially the egg and cheese croissant. I've tried some of their donuts and they're good as well, always fresh. I work in Glendale (North Brand) and remember searching for 30 minutes to find a decent donut shop. The first two I found were cash only. Of course I only found that fact out after wasting 10 minutes in line at each. Mr Goods was my last try. Clean place with a great selection and friendly service. Best of all, atm/bank cards accepted with $10 min. purchase. Works out to a dozen and a small coffee for those wondering. Found my new favorite breakfast place. This place serves the best breakfast, smoothies, and boba and they also have BANANA SPLIT ICE CREAM! My favorite I'm from Philly and I haven't seen anywhere in Glendale / California that has bannna split ice cream or know what it is, can not wait to go back and get it. I can't praise enough on how good this place is. I've been coming here for years with my family. They actually care about there customers. They manage to remember what me and my whole family orders. Mostly all there customers are usuals. Customers come back because of the amazing service and good donuts. I know my donuts are fresh because I can see them at 4 in the morning making the donuts. 7 or 8 years ago I was helping out a friend who needed to do an errand in Glendale. I was waiting for her and starving so I went on foot in search of some grub. The first place that had anything foodlike was mr. Goods donuts and they had a little sign out front that said sandwiches so I figured why not? Little did I know it would become a dietary staple which me and my friends now lovingly call "the sandwich". It's kind of a Vietnamese bahn mi hybrid-no shredded carrots and daikon but a few elements of it and a classic sandwich. The roll-amazing- super fresh, slight crunch on outside, chewy on inside The turkey-pretty standard for a donut shop The cheese-yum Lettuce, tomato, optional jalapenos and a mayonaise/soy sauce concoction that is delish. I haven't written a lot of reviews but I think it's time people knew about this and at $3.75 you can't beat it! It also doesn't hurt that the lady making the sandwich is amazingly nice and puts love into every one she makes! read more

Ive been coming here now for some time. I feel like the customer service is just getting worse. The lady owner is so RUDE! This morning i came and i was questioning the price for donuts and croissant she just yelled at me like how dare i question her. She even gave me the receipt and said here it is every donut is extra price. I just let her say whatever she needed and i walked out wont be returning here anymore. been coming here since i was a little girl. theyre baked fresh every morning and melt in your mouth like butter! they also have really yummy sandwiches which are $2.50-$4. if you get them in the telera roll they make it quasi-vietnamese style w/ soy sauce in the bread and some really yummy special sauce and jalapenos (available on request). if you order it in a croissant they make it regular. The jalapeno, ham, and cheese stuffed croissants are AWESOME and HUGE! you can always depend on this place if you want a good, old-fashioned, fresh made, donut. read more
