Tried to call an order in, but since this is a neighborhood place, I asked for the name of the owner. I was hung up on. I called again, and when I said I was hung up on, I asked for the name of the owner. I was asked 3 times for my name and who I was. I was hung up on a second time. I called a 3rd time and this time an answering machine picked up. In the middle of leaving a message, I was again hung up on. Now on a mission, I called back a 4th time to tell the owner that I was no longer a customer. He said good and hung up on me again. I did find out that he was the owner, a man with a very thick accent. It's a shame that a small business treats customers in this fashion. There are so many restaurants to chose from, and I always like to try to give the mom and pop places my business, but I will never return. Finally gave this place a try after always passing it. Quick and friendly service! Fulfilling yet, I'm not overly stuffed at all. For the most part it was pretty clean nothing to where it made me cringe. It smelled like fresh bread which I loved, the sandwiches were really good (me and my boyfriend got cheese steak philly's) tried it with lettuce and tomato..something different. It was actually pretty good, fresh and they're not stingy at all with the meat. I'm not to big on anything that isn't chicken or seafood but it was definitely trying at least once. Man, it's always nice to try some good at a private owned business. I'd been craving a good sandwich and an east coast tasting slice of pizza, which is exactly what I got. The owner of the restaurant seems like a really cool dude and you can just tell he's grateful for everything customer that he gets. He regularly checks on you just to make sure that you're happy and satisfied, which is nice. His sandwiches were all fresh, and you could clearly tell. I had a meatball hoagie and you could taste that the meatballs were prepped that same day. I also tried a slice of the pizza, and you could tell that fresh mozzarella was used, which most people don't, they use frozen crap. The food is so simple, yet so good, so I don't know why the place always seems so empty every time I drive by. I hope this place stays open and continues to be successful. read more

They even have a magazine rack/table loaded with a variety of mags (I was hoping this was not an indication of a long wait...and this was confirmed). French bread (fresh) slightly toasted, lettuce and tomato, beef was chopped finely like hamburger, but all loose (some falls out when you hold the hoagie). Not a lot of melted cheese, if that's your thing. Overall, a good but not great hoagie. Maybe I'll try a different one next time. The owner/cook is friendly. We were in the area and wanted to grab a quick lunch..a sandwich or sub. After a quick yelp search we decided on Mr hogie and he's 4.95 subs..you cant beat the deal. Option: the food two sub, one Philly with peppers and extra cheese . slightly smaller that a regular sub but a little longer than subways half sub. Id say about 10in. Same for the Italian my daughter ordered. Both sub were very generous with the meat. The steak was tender philly style seasoned well with grilled onions and added jalapenos.I opted out the lettuce and tomatos my daughter loved her Italian meat sub and the rolls were fresh. All totaled solid sandwiches. And coupled with their on going promotion of bogo half off the total for lunch was 13dollar and some change with the addition of two bottles of soda. My buddy took me here for lunch today, said it got a lot of great reviews on his neighborhood FB page. He got the Philly cheesesteak and I got the Italian. Those are the two best sellers according to the guy behind the counter. Fresh bread and plenty of meat on mine. My buddy said it was one of the best CS he's had in a long time. Italian - a good sandwich with quality meats on it, soft roll, my friend liked it. I saw a Boars-head Deli Meats mug by the soda fountains and think they may use boarshead lunch meats. MMMM where to start fresh off the plane and I'm starving. I live for a good hoagie so pulled up reviews like all yelpers do and this place it's number 1 in my neck of the woods. First time so I order a classic Philly cheese stakes all the way. What I got was no philly by any means. No grilled papers cheese was basically in one spot and no mushrooms. There were pickled onions so it had a serious bite in my word cheese mayo and vinegar do not mix and all realness I was sick the following day it it was the last thing I ate. I really hate to drop 2 Stars but I have too. He was very nice and services was quick and most of the time I can forgive mediocre food but this case I can not.
