This place was recommended to me by a local friend. When I went in, they had a sanitizing station in the doorway, the sales person was masked, and he also asked the other (masked) customer to please sanitize when he jut walked right by it. It appeared they are also limiting the number of people in the store. I saw the review below from Sept, but I had a very different experience. I do not live locally, and I have been HORRIFIED by the behavior of the majority of Texans (people in Walgreens refusing to wear a mask and arguing that they "don't do anything.") Too bad ignorance and inconsiderate behavior are NOT co-morbidities! They should be! Having managed large numbers of staff myself, I understand that it is really hard for front line employees to police everyone about mask wearing. I also want and expect the employees to wear masks (and have left plenty of places where they are not) -- and I do want them to enforce the rules with their employees and patrons, but also recognize the position this puts them in -- to immediately start a possible confrontation with customers. Yes, the employee should stay masked. And if the customer comes in not wearing a mask, obviously they have also already made a dumb personal decision and don't care about other people.. It starts out badly all around. I watched a fight unfold in Walgreens, and the manager did absolutely NOTHiNG to make the woman put a mask on, even though ALL the other customers were asking her to. It is time for EVERY customer in EVERY store to start standing up for these policies when you see them ignored. It is too much to expect every person working behind a counter to do this on our behalf. If you see something, say something! Anyway, I was grateful that when I went into this shop in October 2020 they did seem to be taking more precautions than any other large corporate store I've been in. (17 people not wearing masks in HEB Lakeline on one trip!) I am not disputing anyone else's experience, but it appears to me they may have seen the other review, or at least are trying harder! Which is more than any Walgreens or HEB or Walmart or Costco will do... I got the exact items I was looking for, and the guy was very nice and helpful. So I thought the name was appropriate! I also got another item I was headed next to make an extra trip to get- it saved me another stop in this awful pandemic. Plus, I found some amazing CBD bath bombs while I was there! I gave them as a thank you gift to a friend and she said it was the most amazing bath she had ever taken. I ended up giving her mine, too! So I will be going back for more. These were the BOMB! Pun intended. Regarding the prices, smaller shops are disadvantaged as they don't have the bulk buying power of large corporate stores, so I expect to pay a little more, which I'm happy to do to support smaller, local businesses and families. Even so, I found their prices reasonable. I am used to paying ridiculous prices because I live in a ski resort, so I appreciate buying from this store, and I paid less than I normally do. Not only do they not wear masks (seriously--a pandemic is not a political issue, and wearing a mask is just being polite to your customer), but one of the guys was in the convenience store next door and wouldn't wear one even after being asked by the poor clerk (who has to deal with garbage headed man-bun assholes like this all day). I would just be cautious going in there; the "I don't give a sh*t attitude" actually DOES have an affect of the quality of their products--now I won't touch 'em.
