It's an old school style Mall that we spent hours wandering, but this is a new school style gift shop which has all kinds of fun stuff, offensive stuff, and lots of cat stuff which we love - which is why we spent a good 15 minutes in here and bought several things. It's not cheap though, so I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about, saying that it will help your wallet. It won't do anything but suck money out of your wallet, but you might be really happy with some of the trinkets and gift items that you find here.

The refill station at Parker & Scott is probably my new favorite place! They have all kinds of options. One thing I'd never even considered that I saw there...sunscreen! How awesome is that. I just went in this time to get some hand soap, but I will be coming back here for all of our items. I'm hopeful that more people see how great of an option this place is. They also have a lot of fun/unique snacks and beverages. I purchased the hand soap, but also got a thing of dill pickle pistachios...OMG, so good. The clerk was such a lovely human and quite helpful. I will absolutely be back and will be telling all my friends about this place. Great way to shop local! Take your vessels up there and they will tare out the weight on all of them. So cool! I was excited to find Parker and Scott during our transition to trying to make our home plastic-free with refillable soaps/detergents/etc and Earth-friendly cosmetics. I hope to never buy another plastic bottle again! The prices are not super marked up from the online prices of these items. They have a really nice set up for a local small business and have opened several similar stores in the area which is a great additional to the Austin community.
