This is a very average smoke shop. You must realize there are tons of smoke/head shops in Austin so in order to be great, you must give outstanding customer service. The staff at this location is like someone working at a McDonalds, sure you'll get what you asked for but won't be given anything extra. The staff doesn't show you around or help you out. There's no "human-ness". The problem is with management I believe bc unless all the other smoke shops in town, the staff here is not allowed to give any discounts or make any "deals" on purchases. Their prices are marked up at least 30-40% and I refuse to pay full price especially when I can purchase the same glass piece online for way cheaper. Smoke-N-Chill is a piece of shit. They are wayyyyyy overpriced- especially for their e-cigs! Paid $17 for one puff! Literally took one puff in the store and never had the chance to again. It stopped working when I tried it later that night. I went in less than 24 hours later and they refused to help. Customer service is awesome I drove down for a charcoal burner(that didn't work not the stores fault) for my hookah coals which I had been searching for the worker was very informative about anything I asked about in the store. He was very polite as well. The charcoal burner wasn't working upon using it so I called the store a female wanted to help me troubleshoot over the phone to keep from driving back down there but she didn't know where to begin so she told me to bring it the next morning and they swapped it out with no problem I will shop with them again because the vibes are awesome and the friendliness and customer service all exceeded my expectations read more

Just came into your store and Samuel, who for no reason I can imagine treated me like complete shit. I asked he and his partner to give me the x baby q2 coil, which they gave me the smaller version. After being rung out, this little jackass decides to be huffy because he has to now call the owner to do a return. I have been to this business since y'all opened and this happens from time to time and the owner has always taken care of it, which he did this time. After getting the issue resolved, I step aside so Samuel can help another customer and Samuel starts yelling at me about putting my new coil into my tank and filling said tank with juice saying I'm "making a mess". I put all my trash into the bag they gave me and did not spill a drop of juice onto your counters. This kid needs to lose his job, period. I hate to say that as I run a small business and know the struggle, but as a patron of your business, I am infuriated that I was treated in such a manner. Pretty decent customer service they were nice and helpful. Bought a suorin air but the minute I got home, I opened it, realized it wasn't working. Called probably 30 minutes after leaving the shop and asked if they could do anything. They said sorry they don't do returns, exchanges or refunds. They gave me a faulty suorin. Was super pissed and ended up going to orange market in west campus and they tried to fix it but it didn't work. The guy at orange market ended up selling me a new one for a 50% discount. read more

Clean, organized, and the staff is really friendly. They have a pretty good selection of tobacco products. Plenty of coals and shisha flavors. Great place to stop if you need some hookah supplies on the go. Also a great supply of water and regular pipes, cigar selections, cigarettes. Generally anything you can find related to smoking. My only issue, and it is slight as that, is the price for shisha is a dollar or two more than what you would pay elsewhere, but in general the selection and convenience are a payoff. read more

Went in the research Blvd location to get a grav labs Sherlock. When I got to the car I noticed a hairline crack in the mouth piece, thinking it would be no big deal I walked back in and asked some girl who worked there what I should do. She said she checked it before she sold it and couldn't do anything. (which is complete bullshit, it's a dark blue/green piece in a dark smoke shop) you can barley see the crack outside in the daylight.
