    Soup dumpling
    Jason M.

Have you ever driven by a place and just said wow I think I need to go there? This was that place for me. I drove by the building around three times in my travels and its exterior just spoke to me, I love the color and I love the layout. I didn't realize I would love the interior as well! Kind of a nautical theme meets and among the trees type feeling. Very well lit, very well decorated. But that's not why I came, I came to eat! I figured with the name that they bear, they must have really good dumplings. I asked my server what her favorite items on the menu were, and the soup dumpling needed to be tried. I also ordered the chicken lo mein, because it's a favorite dish of mine. The soup dumplings were amazing, proper chew and texture on the dumpling, a proper chew to the meat that was inside, and an explosion of soup, which was absolutely delicious and flavorful. I could only three of them, because I knew that I would eat the rest of them if I didn't exercise some willpower. Luckily, the lo mein came out and I could enjoy that and not be totally stuffed. The lo mein was perfect temperature, flavorful well cooked pieces of chicken, and the noodles were perfectly done. If you're ever out in Syracuse and happen to be driving down Erie Boulevard and see this bright building, you should stop!

This place is great for larger groups. We had 6 of us and were seated immediately. Our drinks were delicious and the food came out piping hot and perfectly cooked. The ambiance is so aesthetically pleasing, especially with the Sakura blossoms, traditional music and projected video of Asian landmarks. Absolutely stunning! Everything was fantastic! You must try it!

We've gone to Mr. Noodle & Ms. Dumpling a few times now. We've dined in & we have taken out. We've had mixed experiences with service & food. The space is quite pretty. The most consistently great thing in my book that usually keeps us coming back is their soup dumplings. They are made fresh & packed full of the comforting flavor you want from this menu item. Everything else we've gotten has been okay but nothing that really kept us coming back for more. The service also has been highly inconsistent of times where they are present & make us excited to be there & times where we didn't know if we'd ever get service at all. That's the main reason we usually choose takeout when we pick them for a meal.

My wife requested this restaurant as her choice for a Mother's Day dinner (a day early to beat the crowds). We had reservations, but there was plenty of seating available. Walking in, the first thing we noticed was the cumbling cement threshold at the entrance. Once inside, we were promptly seated. The decor is a little strange, with a combination of dark wood, thick rope wrapped around cylindrical wooden pillars, and fake tree branches with plastic pink flowers. Everything seemed clean, and the waiter was pretty attentive. We ordered an appetizer of the pork dumplings, which were okay. My wife ordered chicken with broccoli, our daughter ordered sesame chicken, and I ordered tge orange chicken. All three dinners came with white rice in a small bowl. Portions of food were ample, but arrived moderately warm. My wife had to wait longer for her food to arrive, due to an issue in the kitchen, which made it awkward for others that wanted to eat their food before it got totally cold. The food was okay, but not overly flavorful. For the three of us, it cost $72.00 (including the tip), which wasn't too bad. We will probably go back at some point.

Great food and service! We were in town for an event, and stop by for dinner. Steam small bun (Xiao Long Bao) were so good, we ordered two of them. We also ordered pan fried dumpling , cold sesame and peanut sauce noodle, and pan fried small bun. All food is very good, I can't believe we (2 people) finished them all without any take home box! Service is great! I would revisit this place next time in town, love the Mr noodle and Ms Xiaolong Bao! Tips for eating Xiaolong Bao here, they are juicy, make sure to do a small bite just to poke the bun skin, so the hot air and temperature can be released. Let them cool a little bit then you can enjoy.

I finally made my way to Mr. Noodle and Ms. Dumpling, and it was worth the wait. I decided to go during lunch hours, so there was no wait at all. Strongly suggest these hours if you're not a huge fan of crowded restaurants. The ambiance of this restaurant is quite lovely. I loved the faux cherry blossoms trees they have placed throughout the dining room & the dark aesthetics. It makes the decor "pop" in a beautiful way. Our waitress was extremely joyful and friendly. Their customer service alone definitely gets a 10/10. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrées, 1 soft drink, and my spouse had 2 beers. Our tab was fairly reasonable. Our total was about $70 bucks, give or take. IMO, that's not bad at all! The food was very fresh with a wonderful flavor profile. I especially enjoyed the appetizers. These were some of the best veggie egg rolls I've ever eaten, super crispy and delicious. The fried dumplings were equally amazing. Our entrées were hands down some of the best and freshest Asian cuisine we have had in this area. I particularly loved that they used chicken breast for their sesame chicken as I am more favorable to that particular cut of meat. Overall, this was a very pleasant dining experience with delicious and fresh food. Their menu is quite extensive with some very unique options. I will definitely return to "eat my way through their menu" My only small gripe (which isn't a huge deal) is that our appetizers and entrées came out at the same time. Personally, I would have preferred they be served with some time in between, but again, that's just my personal preference and definitely not a deal breaker of any sorts.

We celebrated my teen's birthday here and we all loved it. Ramen was flavorful and beautiful. The soup dumplings were hot and tasty. Service and ambiance are great. I highly recommend this place.

Definitely my new hangout. Food was superb, highly recommend the soup dumplings as an appetizer and grab some hot tea while you're at it. We got the spicy to lotus soup and the Taiwan spicy been noodle soup with dumpling appetizers and an order of seaweed salad. Everything was prepared fresh and service is prompt. Ambience is comfortable. Will definitely be coming back here as the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, portions are plenty and dumplings are very good!

The hot and sour soup is so flavorful, with tofu, mushrooms, and egg. It had a mild amount of heat but was well balanced. My main dish was flounder with soft tofu in a slightly sweet sauce. It is one of my favorites eaten with the white rice. It also comes in a spicy version that I might try next time. It was a cold day so I ordered hot tea and I was nicely surprised that it was a very good jasmine tea. I am looking forward to my leftovers.

I did find a person who visited this one and another one, Jianghu Café and so I asked her if I could only visit one, which do I do, and she said Jianhghu was the winner winner Szechuan lunch. I did go there and it was great! But I found myself having one additional dinner time without plans, so I came here as well. Walking in, I noticed what appeared to be a common Asian Massage Parlor next door, yo uget to it via the entry way that bring you here as well. Kinda odd, but it didn't bother me. Walking into this restaurant, it's very nicely laid out and beautifully décor'd! The servers and staff spoke great English and were very helpful, especially when answering questions about their menu. I started with their Garlic Cucumbers, but I asked for them to be spicy and Wow, they did a GREAT job with them! They weren't very hot, but so much spiciness and flavor - I loved them! Next up was to get their cumin chicken. They do cumin style in all their proteins, which makes for some great options. I chose their basic fried rice to come with this. The fried rice and cumin chicken were both amazing... Perfectly spiced and loaded with flavor. There were several Szechuan peppercorns in the dish, which added to the aroma and flavor of the dish. Overall - I really like this dinner! While I do feel Jianghu is slightly better, this is amazing as well!

I wish the menu provided more details about what was included in each dish. When I tried the Kung Pao Chicken, I bit into something twice that caused a strong burning sensation in my mouth. I'm still not sure what it was, because it looked like chicken at first. I also ordered the Orange Chicken and the General Tso's Chicken (extra spicy), but neither dish was spicy at all, or fresh tasting. All chicken dishes were drowned in bland sauce. Since it was our first time and we weren't sure how the food would be, we decided to order from the lunch menu. In hindsight, we all regretted that choice and felt we should have tried something else instead.

Phenomenal food!…read more We're in Syracuse for a conference, and didn't want to spend a fortune for mediocre food at the conference hotel, so we set out to find a good local spot via Yelp. Su Su Dim Sum came up at the top of the list, so off we went. I ordered a small (pint) of hot and sour soup and lamb with scallions. My wife ordered tangerine beef, and then we ordered red bean paste steamed buns to go for breakfast tomorrow. The soup was thick, full of chunks of tofu, plenty of vegetables, a little less peppery and a little less pungent than we like, but still better than typical Chinese restaurant fare. A bowlful of fried noodles came on the side. A great start! My wife, a veterinarian, suspected that the lamb was actually beef, but that question aside, the lamb dish was delicious, with plenty of meat, chunks of bell pepper, and abundant scallions, in a delicious sauce. The star of the night was the tangerine beef, lightly breaded and perfectly fried, in a savory and slightly sour sauce. A few broccoli florets, a handful of tangerine segments, and a wonderful thick sauce completed the dish perfectly. We packed up the leftovers, collected the steamed buns, and headed back to the hotel. We grabbed some menus to give to fellow conference attendees when they ask where we went out to dinner.
