Do you like your pizza a little picante? Mr Pan Pizza and Curry House is a local hidden gem with a thick crust pizza and tasty sauce. I can't eat regular pizza so it was nice to be able to order a curry from the same place while others enjoyed what would surely put me out of commission for the duration. Warning: You get a LOT of food for your buck. I ordered the Saag and rice and I will spare you the picture because let's face it, Saag is not photogenic in any way, to be polite. It basically looks like purried spinach because that's essentially what it is. It's a very tasty Indian dish and I'm going to tell myself I've eaten my necessary vegetables. I would normally order something chicken but alas all those dishes have dairy. And that too is on my no-can-do list. Butter chicken dreams will notdrive me to sin. But dammmm the pizza looks good. Terrible. Ripped off. I ordered chicken tikka masala and there was 4 tiny pieces of chicken. Thigh meat. $50 for next to no chicken, vegetable korma was soup, Naan bread was thin. read more

When in a pinch I have ordered here for pizza. Sometimes I even do my own pickup to this little takeout joint. Decent Pizza, reasonable offerings and the crust is good enough that I eat it and that says enough. I've ordered their ham and pineapple pizza before (sorry to those who say that's not real pizza) which the girls like and it's always finished. Never a piece left over. read more

We were so disappointed yesterday. We have been ordering pizza from here for a few years. It has always been good. Yesterday both our pizzas tasted overwhelmingly of curry- one was a ham and pineapple. We threw them both out. Mr Pan Pizza's quality of the food had dropped significantly. First it was pizza only but now the Indian food as well. I ordered a big meal for family dinner(out of town guests) and food was in trays that were super cheap the food was almost dripping and trays were leaking. The fish pakora was cold -as almost frozen. The garlic naan was raw. The daal has rocks in it. My whole family got sick. I will not be going to this place anymore. The service has also become super rude. The guys were very nice but the women that works there does not care about customers and is always rude. There are better places for Indian food in the area. I will never use them again. As a business it's the worst place, I went there one weekday out of my way because they were open at 2:30 and I was fairly clos by. When I got there the owner could barely speak English. I tried to communicate that I wanted to order a pizza and I had the hardest time trying to understand that they were just making the dough... Well what business preps the dough at opening as it will take at least an hour before you can do business orders, this should have been done the night before. But the bad part is becauseI went further into N. Van instead of going over the iron workers bridge, i got caught by the rush hour traffic and accident, which extended my drive home by an hour. So i thought I'd give them another shot tonight since I'm now in afternoon rotation and rush hour has long past. But this time they won't even answer the phone when the web site clearly says that they are open until 10pm. Major fail! Have no idea where all the great reviews are coming from. read more

It is very difficult to find authentic and good Indian food on the north shore. If you are looking for the same, this place is it. We ordered the chicken biryani, chic pea and chicken tikka. All three dishes were extremely good. They will dial up or down the spice level to suit your need. Nice people and it is a delivery or take out spot (dine in experience is pretty much non existent - the only downside). Enjoy! read more

So far me and my family have ordered here 4 times, and all 4 times have been great. The deals that they have are amazing and the quality of the food so good. I was genuinely surprised at how good the pizza has been, we always get ham pineapple and green pepper pizza and it is honestly the best pizza I have ever had. It isn't greasy, and has great flavor. Right down to the crust. The delivery service is also good, there was one day that the pizza took a little over an hour and was slightly irritating but every other time has been great so I'm not letting it affect my 5 star rating. Great food and great staff, all around a good resteraunt. Can not beat the prices!!! Definitely give them a try!! read more

Absolutely avoid this establishment at all costs. Me and friends decided to try this place for the first time and not only found hairs in our pizza but the wings we're also completely burnt. When we asked for a refund and showed them the food they became very aggressive and refused to refund us even though we showed them the hair and burnt wings. The pizza is par for the course and there are superior options very near by. *COUGH* Hell's Pizza *COUGH* I do take them up on their Indian food, especially their pick up specials. A great deal for decent food and fast. Far and away their best item is the $1 veggie samosas. You may need to remind them a few times to get free tamarind dipping sauce but it's worth the trouble.
