This place may need a rebranding as the to go diner for curry dishes instead of pizza. Sadly we have been disappointed by their pizza since Sept - too salty and topping portion were limited. I am curious if pizza are not good anymore because school has started or if the pizza chef change... it was a guy in the summer...and I even tipped him 20% on my takeout pizza and curry order instead of buying pop and drinks for myself when I was thirsty because it was yummy and I was feeling generous. Modern tragic food stories --- food prices go up but the portions sizes go down...as shown, pizza in photo lacked cheese and mushroom toppings plus it was more expensive than summer time and too salty to finish. ... I chose to drive out here because it has a local neighborhood feel but to my dismay, the bake on the spot pizza did not deliver and not worth the drive. This was our last night in Canada and we were in the mood for some Indian food or pizza. When we saw this on Yelp, we decided to give it a shot. The establishment is family owned and located behind the convenience store down a flight of stairs by the open green area. I placed my order online, which was easy and seamless. We ordered the Butter Chicken combo which came with roti and basmati rice, as well as a meat lover's pizza for 4 people. Delicious and plenty of food! This is absolutely the best Indian food takeout place in the neighborhood, if not the entire Burnaby. I've never tried their pizza, but if it's at least half as good as their Indian dishes, then it must be amazing. I've been coming here since before Covid, and I've never been disappointed by their food. Furthermore, the interactions with the owner and other staff members have always been very pleasant. While they may not be the closest Indian cuisine store to my place, I come here every time I crave a delicious Indian meal. read more

We absolutely love their Chicken Biryani, by far the best in any Indian restaurant we have ever had. We also love their butter chicken and chicken saag. Their rice is so good you can eat it just by itself. The curries come with rice and naan and my kids say that this butter chicken is the best, creamy and not so tomao-ey like most places. BEST BUTTER CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD. I was told by a co-worker who lives near this place that it was incredible, so I drove across town to try it out. I am so very very happy I did. I really don't have any other place to call for pizza living in my area, so this place is it. Thankfully it's really good! The pizza is large, the sauce is fantastic, as is the dough, and the toppings are just the best - fresh, and there's lots of them. My favourite is smoked salmon with capers and caramelized onions, but the margharita is good too. Since the store is run by an Indian family they also have Indian food which is awesome, as well... not that I've tried anything other than butter chicken, mind you, and the raita. This place used to be called by a different name, Bella Pizza. It was owned (and opened) by an Italian chef who made magically amazing pizzas, but I moved here too late to try them. And honestly, the pizzas they have now are pretty magical anyway! I savour every bite. If I indulge in pizza, it's great to know the best in the city (in my opinion) is right in my neighbourhood. Hands down this is the best pizza and Indian cuisine takeout/delivery joint in the Forest Grove neighbourhood. Take advantage of the reasonably priced curry special. You get 2 orders of curry--choose from any two of their curries on menu-- a big container of rice and 2 large naan. One order feeds two people for dinner with plenty of leftovers for lunch. Don't miss out on their pizza either. They're always loaded with ingredients and plenty of cheese. We've never had a bad experience with the food or service from this place. I have known for 30-40- years that any proper Hawaiian pizza should have shrimp on it but so damn hard to find. Most places don't even offer shrimp as a topping any more! I was looking for "something different" last night for my DoorDash delivery when I spotted Canadian Pizza Plus. At first their excellent value on wings caught my eye, AND samosas! And their very high customer satisfaction ratings. So I was all ready to get some wings and samosas when something caught my eye: "Tropical Hawaiian Delight". Pineapple, ham, bacon and SHRIMP! I HAD TO try that! One of the best pizzas ever. I usually only want a Hawaiian every month or two being more of a heavy meats with mushrooms and black olives kinda guy, but seeing a Hawaiian with shrimp I made the move. One. Of. The. Best. Pizzas. Ever. The shrimp are not those little cocktail ones in the cans but big juicy fresh shrimp. I am an old guy and takes me usually three days to finish a medium. I had this one for lunch, dinner and snack, finished the whole thing off before bedtime..... ha ha. Next order will be the wings and samosas. and after that I can start working on the wonderful "Authentic Indian Food" they are so proud of. I see that almost all reviews give them a 5/5 except one guy who didn't like his Caesar salad. But these are NOT the guys I would go to for Caesar salad anyway. I used to order from them all the time when I was at SFU (though I never got a pizza, only ever the samosas and butter chicken) and was sad when I moved out of delivery range. My favourite pizza place. The fluffy dough combined with Indian sauce (butter chicken pizza) makes you come back for more. It's a take out/delivery place, no sit downs. An order usually takes up to 30 minutes, so give yourself some time. I find the Indian dishes a bit boring. I've had better. But the pizza! Nothing is like it. The food is excellent but it's for pick up or delivery, not a restaurant where you want to sit. Good quality for the price. The butter chicken is awesome! It is so rich and delicious. The naan is super good too. We ordered a bunch of their curries for a party and everybody loved it, even the friends from India! We live around the corner from this establishment and have tried really hard to support it, but they don't make it easy to do so. The last three times we have ordered have been a disaster. For one thing, the amount of time it takes for a pick up order is ridiculous. Usually 45 to 60 minutes which would be fine if you didn't have to wait at least another 10/15 minutes for your order once you get there. One time they gave our order to someone else with the same first name as mine and then asked if I wanted to wait another 45 min for them to remake the order. I declined and ordered from megabite pizza which was ready in 20 minutes. The other 2 orders were both 20 minutes later than they said they would be. Today I ordered a single medium plain cheese pizza for my kids at 5:21 pm. They said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I knew this was probably not an accurate timing so I showed up at 6pm. After waiting until 6:15 I took the pizza home only to find it extremely undercooked. After another 20 minutes of heating up the oven and re-cooking, dinner was served. That will be our last Canadian pizza plus experience. Support local business, but maybe not this one. read more

This is a 4 star place tucked away in a quite family neighbourhood of Forest Grove Drive in North Burnaby. I discovered this place while working on a city project across from this pizzeria. Either the owners don't care for reviews or maybe simply they just don't know about yelp and many other restaurant reviews sites. I explained to them and promised them I would be the first to write up something (depending on food & service). I am not surprised why this restaurant is largely unknown to many millions out there. Anyways an amazing time while the restaurant. The food is just super. And I mean it. I ordered a small Butter Chicken pizza and it actually tasted like one. This has happened to me too many times to count. I placed an order for pick up because I learned my lesson years ago never to order from here because it might come in an hour or two or never. Tonight being Mother's Day I thought a I would be able to make things easier for us by ordering at 4:36 pm and was told it would be 45-50 minutes. I know this place too well and decided to give them an extra ten minutes before going to pick up. I arrive to the owner apologizing to someone on the phone about a mishap with the order and that it will be another 20 minutes before their food is ready. Once the owner and the chef discuss the mishap he asks for my name. He finds my order and processes it. He then goes into the back and comes out several minutes later to inform me that there was a "screw up" with the order and that it would be another 20 minutes before it was ready. I love to support local and small businesses, but this was the last straw! Instead of offering a discount or anything like that, he was searching for excusing using software problems, staffing issues etc. It's too bad as the food is great, but someone needs to help this place learn how to run a business properly! read more

If I could give them less stars I would. Their service is absolutely terrible. Every single time we have ordered from them the pizza has been wrong. Every Single Time. In our most recent experience not only did we get the wrong pizza delivered to us but they tried to say that it was what we ordered despite the fact that my mother is a pescetarian and does not eat meat... Then they called us back to say that they confirmed the pizza with us and it is what we ordered. When my mom said that it is not they told her that next time she should text them since she obviously doesn't speak clearly enough for them to understand.. My mom is born and raised in canada I don't think that is the issue. This is a consistent problem with this company and is extremely frustrating. We will not be ordering from them ever again.
