Casual Italian spot with good quality food. From the same restaurant family as Pizzeria Farina, Di Beppe, Ask for Luigi etc. We went for the "Dinner For Two" option - you get 1 starter, 1 pizza, 1 pasta, and 1 dessert for $90 (used to be a far better deal at $75/80). **A heads up**: Depending on the options you choose, this deal could actually end up being more expensive than the items individually. Antipasti/Starter: Polpette al forno - comes with three meatballs in a tomato sauce. Good but fairly forgettable compared to the other dishes. Wish we'd tried the seasonal vegetables instead as got food envy later. Pasta: Ragu di manzo - this was a great dish. Nice al dente pasta. Well balanced sauce and melt in the mouth beef cheek. Pizza: Finocchiona - Lovely pizza, great thin crust. Big fan of the fennel sausage. Similar to Pizzeria Farina (though think the pizza there might win in a head-to-head). Dessert/Dolci: Tiramisu - a well-made end to the meal and perfect to share. Service was friendly, fairly quiet when we went. It wasn't a hot day but they had fans set up around the restaurant on full blast due to the heat from the pizza oven, so they can't turn them off - not particularly fun if you're directly in front of the fan. Would definitely come back if I was in the area, but wouldn't seek it out. If you're looking for pizza, I'd say Pizzeria Farina is better. If you're looking for pasta, Di Beppe/Ask for Luigi are likely better.

I love a good italian spot! This place is a few blocks up from the lovely londsdale quay - one of my fave areas. It's a super cute little italian vibe - homey and cute. The service is decent - the servers are quite nice and the food came very quickly. Prices are a bit on the expensive side for what it is, but i do really enjoy the food! I'd give it a 8/10. I loved the carbonara pasta we shared, and the pizza was decent - i personally order a more doughy crust. I do really enjoy this spot and recommend checking it out :)

This is my Son's favorite restaurant in all of Vancouver!! we had the best service of any of our visits to the restaurant tonight from Luke!!! The pizza chef Chris was on top of his game tonight! Everything was delicious. We had both pizza and pasta. Thanks to Luke and the Farina Al Legna team !! This was my daughter's first time having Latte ice cream (low sugar vanilla) and it was totally delicious!!

Cute Italian Restaurant for Date Night @farinaalegna They have a dine-in special "Dinner For Two" where you get 1 appetizer, 2 main courses, and 1 dessert for $75 it's a great deal for hungry date nights We Ordered: (Daily Special) Burrata & Bread Ragu di Manzo $28 Funghi $24 Torta al Cioccolato $10 umberto cesari 'moma' rubicone, trebbiano $10 Overall it was a great dining experience and I can't wait to go back. The burrata was fresh and perfectly soft. Between the two main courses the Funghi pizza definitely stole the show. It was flavourful and the bread/crust was just like the pizzas I had in Italy. I would also highly recommend getting the white wine because it was not dry and it paired perfectly with all the dishes Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Parking (plenty of street parking but expect to have to spend 5-15 minutes driving around to find a spot) Ambiance 5/5

青酱绝美,配自制的面包,橄榄,橄榄油,烤菜完美搭配意大利黑醋Green sauce is excellent, with homemade bread, olives, olive oil, and grilled vegetables perfectly with Italian black vinegar.

    - Love the ambience here - Follow covid strict rules gotta give a thumbs up since there is a wall separating from one table to another - Love the soundtrack - The food tastes amazing too worth the price as well - In summary, I would recommend the place Edit 2.0: back again to farigna a legna and this time i ordered the dinner for four which consists of 2 antipasti, 2 pasta, 2 pizza and 2 dolci. For the antipasti, we got the polpette al forno which was an amazing meatball. The burrata and pesto with focaccia was exceptional except the focaccia cojld be better. The pesto was $6 extra For the pasta, we got the carbonara which was quite good. I believe adding more pasta water could make it better and the guanciale pieces could be bigger for the maximum experience. The frutti di mare was better than the carbonara. Exceptional taste and sublime flavour. Gotta add $8 for adding the frutti di mare which should be explained in the beginning. For the pizza, we got finnochiona and the boscaiola. The finnochiona was way more superb than the boscaiola. Its a fire oven pizza but i dont think its neapolitan. For neaopolitan, the pizza should be thinner and more fluffy on the edge. But the pizza was very crunchy which was good. For the dessert, we got the tiramisu and the chocolate cake. Like i have said previously the tiramisu is one of the best in town. The chocolate cake was mid though and could have been better. Recommended like before. Cheers!

Another outstanding italian family restaurant in north van. True hidden gem i should say. Tucked away amidst a residential are..,my guess is the place used to be an old house. Everything was on point. I mean, when was the last time You had an amazing bfast pizza. Slices prosciutto baked into the pizza with a soft boiled egg in the middle. The crust was magnificent. Thin with bubbly burnt edges but sturdy enough to hold the toppings. Just like how they make it in italy. The pasta were made fresh. From the bolognese To the classic carbonara with guanciale, to the pappardelle with wild boar ragu, and the bolognese with pork ragu...everything screamed quality and freshness all throughout. I was very very impressed With the dishes here. The sauces were meticulously prepared. Take the carbonara...they couldve used cream to cheat, but no...,they used real egg yolks and generous portions of pecorino cheese. They dont do short cuts or skimp on the ingredients. Fine italian foods will be served to you. If they pecorino or parmigiano reggiano, that is what you are getting. Quality quality quality and a stone/brick Oven right in the center of the restaurant to make you smell the aroma of the pizzas being made. Perfect harmony to entice all the senses...lol. Yes, i will be back For sure. Theres many more that i wanna try and experience. Service was on point and excellent. A bit pricey but worth it. Cheers! Happy eating!!!

Excellent service and incredible food! Best pizza I've in a long time, and best kale Caesar possibly ever. Portions were huge, and the happy hour drink specials felt very "sunny patio in Italy". I will definitely return.

Amazing place for pizza in North Vancouver! Especially with it being so close to the Shipyards Brewery District, it was great to get it for takeout and pair it along with a glass of beer. The pizza was VERY fresh and would highly recommend when in the area!

Recently enjoyed another Kitchen Table restaurant and had a lovely dinner at Farina a Legba. I am definitely feeling the Italian vibes here! The place is absolutely beautifully decorated with the checkered tiles, indoor plants, cute picnic table for larger seatings and they have outdoors patio seatings too! For those with a group, the dinner for 4 option is such a great way to try out a selection of dishes the restaurant has to offers - you can choose two items from each course. For our group we ordered the Polpette al Forno + Baratta/Pesto Bread Platter + Ragu di Manzo + Frutti di Mare + Prosciutto & Arugula Pizze + Finocchiona Pizze. Every thing we had was delizioso! Appetizers was a tasty start and opened up our appetite for more. Pizza crust was bubbly and crispy. Pasta was al dente with great flavour. And desserts were such a surprise - can't believe how good they were with all the vegan/gluten free options!

We'd been to Alberello Pizzeria once a few years ago and I remember being super impressed with the pizza there, so when the family decided to go there for dinner again, I knew I would be ordering pizza again. In addition to pizza, I also tried some of the Rucola salad which another member of the family had ordered. The grapefruit in it definitely gave it a pop of colour, and while grapefruit isn't exactly my favourite fruit when it comes to taste, I did enjoy the juiciness of the fruit. I ordered the Grille Pizza which came with marinara sauce, mozzarella, roasted eggplant, roasted red pepper, zucchini, fresh parsley and chili oil. Pretty sure this was the same pizza I had ordered the first time we came to this restaurant. It was super tasty and they did a good job of roasting the vegetables on top. When I eat anything with eggplant on it, I always prefer my eggplant to be cooked until it has become very soft. My daughter however ordered the exact same pizza as me, and for some reason the veggies were not as soft on her pizza; so while I very much enjoyed my food I think this restaurant needs to work a bit on consistency since my daughter's pizza wasn't quite as enjoyable as mine. Service is exceptional except the main dish took a long time. When they realized we didn't drink much wine they offered to substitute other drinks and wine samplers. We did the set menu which included bruschettas, salad main and dessert. - the bruschettas are spectacular per name of restaurant. So many things come with them. Mine the salmon and tomatoes and bell pepper all went so well together with the toast, and the avocado and lettuce too. - caprese salad was top notch. Tomatoes are soo fresh and good. So was the burrata. - the Caesar salad was mustardy and had a very weird taste. - the porchetta took a long time but was worth it. We tried the pizza today, but perhaps we'll come back for some pasta or the sandwich (on the test kitchen menu). The pizzas were WONDERFUL! We've been to Italy a few times, mostly familiar with Neapolitan food, and this definitely is the closest I've come to my Italian pizza since being back in Canada. Fresh, quality ingredients and a crispy, thin crust. Perfection! The prosciutto was buttery and rich, the greens all fresh, the tomato sauce *chef's kiss*! I recommend the Prosciutto crisp and arugula pizza. The staff was very kind and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant was clean and a very convenient location. Someone said it was hard to get a table, but we went for a late lunch and had no problem, so I suppose the time matters. (Lunch rush in this area is busy everywhere.) Overall, I will return and would recommend!
