My friends have hyped up this place for the longest time and I finally got to try it. An unassuming spot on the side street off Austin, they serve up a solid deal for walk-in takeouts. We tried the butter chicken pizza and the everything pizza. The pizza were not bad. I did find the butter chicken a bit dry. B said the everything pizza was a lot tastier. The pizzas are huge and very filling. Toppings are generous. I just wish there are more cheese. Other than that the pizzas were delicious. I would come back for more. Best value pizza around! (There are 7 pizza places within two blocks.) And they have a huge Indian & curry menu. Eight Tandoori snacks, 12 Tandoori breads, innumerable chicken, veggie, lamb, goat and seafood dishes. Seven rice dishes, wings, lasagna, and $9 large two topping pizza. I come here a few times per month. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and the food is prepared fresh and served quickly. I ordered the chicken korma and chilli chicken. Before I say anything, I used to work at a high end Indian restaurant so my review may be a little biased . The chicken korma had very little flavour, I added salt but it still wasn't enough to 'save' it, it wasn't bad it was just very average. The chilli chicken had a good flavour but it definitely does not taste like chilli chicken. The sauce is more of a "sweet and sour pork" consistency and tastes sweet. It's not what I expected. The chicken quality was probably my favourite part, it was nicely cooked. I also didn't mind the naan but I don't think it's cooked fresh. It definitely gave me grocery store naan vibes but it wasn't bad. Overall I think the ratings are mostly from their pizzas rather than these dishes. read more

Honestly, I cannot say enough good about the Indian food at this little takeout joint. Well, honestly they do have a couple tables but I've never sat down and eaten. And actually, I've never tasted their Pizza , because their Indian food has me captivated utterly. There are a lot of fancy Indian restaurants that cannot hold a candle to the Indian food that they make at this place. Due to the fact that my daughters are vegan, it is very difficult to find restaurants that we can eat in. Indian food is of course the exception. I strongly recommend that you try their Chana Masala (best anywhere), aloo gobi and dal turkha if you are vegan. However, I usually just order vegetarian. There palak paneer and shahi paneer are amazing, but they're malai kofta is ethereal. It is the fabric of dreams, for me. As you can probably tell, I am enthusiastic about Indian cuisine. I recommend Aroma restaurant in Port Moody. I recommend Gian's Sweets & Restaurant in Abbotsford. These are both fancy restaurants (as indian food goes) , that are amazing, and Pizza Town gives them a run for their money any day. This restaurant use to have a second location by Barnet which unfortunately closed down. A family owned restaurant that serves both Indian Cuisine & Pizza. Walking in, I was helped by a polite lady with a big smile. I decided to order the special, Butter Chicken for $10. The dish had huge chunks of chicken, and the sauce was so creamy and had the perfect amount of spice. It came with rice and four pieces of naan. It was to die for. You know when you eat something and it tastes like the food was made we love?That! That was the feeling I got of the first bite. I left with a happy tummy! For me personally, the curry has just the right amount of spice, creaminess and aroma. For $9.99 the special (pick up or dine in only) includes curry, rice and naan. The naan is very light and fluffy with just a light touch of browning to it. Overall, it's a family owned and operated joint, service is down to the point with no hand holding. Decor and ambiance is bare minimum, but if you want good quality curry, this is it. Tip: If you choose to dine in, you can order from the counter and a staff will bring your meal to you with a cup of water. I'll definitely be returning and recommend to friends and family. read more

The worst service ever! I ordered for my brothers birthday and they said it would be delivered in forty five minutes. So an hour goes by, no order. I call at 1 hour 15 minutes and they say another 15 minutes. An hour and a half I call back and they can't contact their delivery driver. The woman says give another 10 minutes. After an hour and forty minutes, I call back and say nothing's been delivered yet, and I want a discount. This crumby restaurant says "no discount". Imagine no discount when I've waited for almost two hours for the food. As it was, the food never came, and by this time most restaurants are closing up. We had to eat something, so we went to kfc for veggie burgers. What a shitty way to treat a customer, especially on their birthday. I don't get the bad reviews at all, but I guess that there are some people that you just can't make happy... I regularly order pizza from here and it is great! So much better than the generic crap from the big names. Plus the prices are excellent. I also have the Indian food here- just a little less regular than the pizza. It is fantastic and on par with any of the expensive Indian restaurants I've ever eaten at. Just remember to err on the side of caution with the spice level. Small place, the most of the times I see people picking up. Needs better ventilation, they leave the front door open as the main solution... the smell uses to be quite strong. Also would be great to clean the tables at the same time the dishes are taken. They are much slower than similar places I have been going to for lunch. They need at least 20min for a lunch special (against 5-10min at other places). The food is hit and miss. Rice comes sometimes cold, something it could be easily fixed. So far I've tried butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, lamb korma, shai paneer, lamb curry, fish curry... and only butter chicken, and the curry dishes are good enough to come back and get the same. Mediocre food, needs to improve the cleanness, and service is just appropriate. read more

My partner and I, both curry fiends, eat (ate) here on a regular basis- often twice a week since this place opened- we've provided business in excess of a couple thousand dollars. For more perspective on just how often we eat there, we had ordered a wonderful meal from PT Grill last night, and today we wanted to enjoy it again so we called in our order only to be shocked with what we recieved. Until now we have never, ever had a major problem with food or service- both were exceptional- until today, when were given spoiled butter chicken- returned it, got handed yet another container from the same spoiled batch and then was told by the male owner that it was "supposed to taste that way because tomato sauce makes it bitter." I am well aware recipies change from day to day and no dish will ever taste the same way twice, but it is simply unbelievable that my concerns over spoiled food were dismissed this flippantly. It was not a simple matter of the recipe differing, and the owner refused to internalize that fact. I pointed out to the owner that the girl running orders at the front of the restaurant admitted to me she smelled something off while the butter chicken was cooking, but that was dismissed as well. The batch of sauce should have been trashed, but the easier fix was to give me a refund and tell me I was wrong. To say I'm disappointed with what happened would be a massive understatement. This was the worst customer service I have ever recieved from this restaurant, I never would have expected it from a place I truly loved to eat at, and visited regularly. Sadly, this incident is in the top ten worst services I've ever had. Again, we've placed thousands of orders with PT Grill and we have loved nearly every one of them. I am not a flippant complainer, and I would never have returned food unless there was a grave and serious concern but what we were served was *completely inedible* I have no problem rescinding or taking down this review once this has been properly addressed, but this is something that absolutely needs to be said, and said right now. read more

Due to these crazy COVID times, I was very picky about how the food to be organized for pick up and they did not quite get my instructions right. The oversight did not impact food safety or quality and the owner obviously cared about my concern and will accommodate me next time. I'm quite pleased with this place. It must be new-ish because up until yesterday I'd never heard of it, and living in the middle of nowhere means I try to keep up to date with the small amount of restaurants that will deliver to my area. The lady on the phone was very pleasant when I called to ask what time they deliver until and if they take debit at the door. The man I talked to when I called later on to actually place an order was equally nice. Hubby and I ordered about $60 worth of indian food for the two of us because 1. we are gluttons, and 2. we wanted to try a little bit of everything to see what the general quality of the food was like - having cheap indian food that will actually deliver to us is almost a little good to be true so our expectations were low. The food took about 45 minutes to arrive (standard for anywhere in PoCo on a Saturday night) and while it wasn't as warm as I'd liked, it wasn't terribly cold or anything. I'm assuming our house was probably the last stop on the delivery dude's route since we live far away. The food: Butter chicken (medium), lamb korma, palak paneer, allo gobi, veggie samosas, garlic naan bread and chicken pakora were all very good. I found the meat to be slightly over cooked but hey, this is delivery indian food from a pizza place so I'm not going to nit-pick too much. I was overall impressed with the quality of the food. Neither of us had to run to the bathroom an hour later after eating the food either, a huge plus! I'm looking forward to eating here again. read more

Went back to order curries after ordering samosas a few days ago Got three lamb curry special which came with rice and naan. Also got the chicken Korma. The Special order of curry was smaller than the korma as it came with rice and naan. It's the perfect choice for someone that wants a full meal at a great price of $9.50 The chicken korma was $11.50 I believe. It was a good size, with enough meat. The flavours and taste of both dishes were really good. Service was polite and functional. It's a take out place owned by Indian people. It's not the Saint St Grill! Fantastic food! My friend is east indian, and he highly recommended this place so you know it's good! I got some warning from him that the butter chicken and samosas are the best things here. Naan is pretty good as well. I took his advice and have not ever been disappointed WITH those food choices. I ordered a pizza once from here, and will never make that mistake again. Their vindaloo also wasn't that good. One tip though if you do choose to go here, place your order with them over the phone!! I cannot stress this enough. If you go there and order, my experience has usually ended up making me wait 30-40 minutes. When I call, I usually wait 20-30 minutes, and have never had to wait upon arrival. We have moved away from the area and tried a few different indian restaurants near home and they just don't compare. We now drive 20 mins to and from just to pick up indian food. Discovered this gem of a restaurant a couple of years ago. We usually order for pickup. Their butter chicken special is the BEST. For $9 you get HUGE portions of butter chicken and rice, as well as four fresh pieces of naan! My favorite restaurant by far. The owners are amazing, Rosie is the sweetest. They cater all of our events which tend to happen a few time year, and we've received nothing but compliments about the food! They've always been so consistent and the food is just amazing. This place is great it has awesome indian food you can order and also pizza. Great deals on 2 for 1 Pizza. I have ordered here quite a few times a couple times for pickup and a couple times for delivery. Unless we order the actual indian food entrees we almost always have ordered the butter chicken pizza sans green peppers. It is something else. An absolutely glorious pizza that encompases the trifecta of butter chicken Nirvana. I do believe the dough for the pizza has hints of the Naan recipe in it so when you get the pizza you have the Naan type pizza crust with the butter chicken sauce (pronunced Sause ) and the chunks of chicken and onion. I have ordered pizzas here on several occasions. It's usually inexpensive, but good quality. That was before today... Despite waiting for OVER an hour for my two pizzas, it sat on top of the oven in plain sight for at least 15 minutes prior to being given to me. It was very busy with a dozen people waiting for Indian food and pizzas alike. So I didn't want to be demanding and thought that since I was there for an hour that they would bring me my pizzas when they were ready. There was no sense of urgency, just taking orders and saying "10 minutes..." Many people were more irritated and I know some waited as long as I had for their Indian food. Now, I have worked in the restaurant industry and am totally fine in waiting usually, but I ordered pizzas for the kids and timed it so we could have hot fresh pizzas. As opposed to the cold cardboard pizzas we received. Mom and pop/family run businesses need local support from the community, but not at the expense of basic customer service.
