Meat balls.. served with gnarly bread.

Cute little atmosphere with sauce bottles that you can use to your liking. I wanted so much to love this spot, as the pizza restaurant that was in its place before was one of my favourites. I ordered pick up, they let me know it would be 50 minutes, that was okay with me since I thought it would be super tasty. I walked down earlier to stop at a place near by and thought I'd check if it was ready (about 30 minutes after ordering). It was all made when I arrived and already cool - would have been much farther from fresh if I arrived at the 50 minute pick up time. The dough is great, thin yet chewy and crispy with nice flavour. Unfortunately, the toppings are too few - see the mushroom pizza (North Shore Forager) - truffle oil was non existent and the mushroom blend that was described seemed to be limited to only cremini. The gnarly bread was dry but had decent flavour, caeser salad was extremely boring considering the price for the size and the biggest jab to the heart was the meatballs. The meatballs came with four which were each smaller than a ping pong ball, served with more of the mediocre gnarly bread and an acidic tomato sauce (lacking in depth). I heard they do Too Good To Go, might be more worth the money to order it that way.

Dave and Mel's Pizzeria has a 4.8 star rating on Google, so we decided to give it a try and ordered the following: Veggie Lover Meat Sweats These pizzas only come in one size and they are huge! The sheer size of the pizzas is probably what we found most impressive. When it came to actually eating the pizzas though...in all honesty, we couldn't really see how this place received such a high rating. It wasn't the worst pizza we've had, but we certainly didn't find it to be anything stellar either. The cheese could have been gooier, and had such an odd appearance. Our daughter said the cheese looked like it had been "hole punched"! No issues with flavor. It all tasted fine, including the "hole punched" cheese. It just didn't taste like 4.8 stars to us. Service: Good Parking: Free parking on the street Location: 113 W 1st St., North Vancouver

Super tasty #pizza! It's a small #pizza joint, you can just grab one peace of pizza. Regular, #VEGETERIAN or #VEGAN! They also have salads and other appies. It's a tiny spot, not much room to sit around. More suitable for a quick snack or to take it to go.

Good pizza in the past. Did a walk in to order a pizza, told it would be 20 minutes. Came back in 20 minutes and picked up. I was in a hurry and did not realize until I got home...the pizza was room temperature and stale, no heat whatsoever. The cheese was dry. The crust was stale. It's like it was sitting in a room temperature fridge overnight. So annoyed with myself I did not notice this when I picked it up. Not sure I'll be back. Feel like I've been taken advantage of. Check your pizza and make sure it's fresh and hot before you leave the store. Disappointed...

Great place, location, staff and pizza :) a for sure a place to go again

Part 2 of 2: Some…read moredishes I quite liked, such as Keto Grillin' (my favourite), Macro Shred, Paleo Foody, The Sea Ghost, Vegan Pump, Italian Passion, Iron Macros, and Seaside Paleo; but the majority of the dishes were so-so and not worth ordering again, and the Globe Trottin' Keto was downright nasty (I don't know if it had gone bad, but it tasted somewhat rotten). Also, the wraps were awful -- dry and bland. I initially really liked the Daybreak wrap -- it was moist, cheesy, and flavourful, but when I ordered it again, it was dry and bland like the others. Conclusion: some of their food is pretty good (for the most part, they do steak, chicken, and potato/yam mashes well), but most of it is meh, and for $12.99 to $15.99 per meal, it is not worth ordering. And if I do find something I really like, I can't always re-order it because the menu changes every week. Despite being disappointed with the majority of the dishes, I decided to place an order last week. I ordered: my favourites Keto Grillin' and Macro Shred; Grecian Keto (chicken souvlaki with cheese and zucchini fritters, cauliflower hummus, and tzatziki), Those Thighs Oh My (paprika-seasoned chicken thighs, mashed potatoes, grilled zucchini, and red onion), T-Rex Goes Hunting (beef and broccoli stir fry over brown rice), and Sexy and You Know It (blackened chicken breast over pasta with sun-dried tomato sauce). The T-Rex Goes Hunting and Sexy and You Know It dishes were quite good (I'd re-order again), but I was disappointed with the Grecian Keto and Those Thighs Oh My. That being said, would I order from them again? Probably, from time to time. However, I will not be regularly ordering from them as there aren't always dishes I like, and when I try something new, the majority of the dishes are just so-so. Not bad, but not worth the price. Give them a try, and if you like their food, awesome! Note that they only deliver on Sundays and Mondays (you must place an order by Thursday of the previous week), and the delivery fee is a very reasonable $5 for orders under $100 (free delivery over $100).

They are complicating the receipts. I ordered five different dishes on my first order, and I'm very sad to say that none of them was good. My partner couldn't even eat two bites . Very strange flavors. Sometimes simply is better. Also, they forced you to pay a deposit for the cool bag. and when you stop the service literally you have to contact them multiple times to get the deposit back. The website is also very confusing. definitely they need some branding and some new people working in the team to give them a different perspective.

I just like coming here for a quick, easy meal where parking is easy and we don't have to pay any tips. The options are more limited for myself since I don't eat meat, but I'm not a fussy person. They have enough to satisfy my dietary restrictions and I'm happy with the food that I do get. On this visit, I saw that they had added a Vegetable Biryani to the hot foods section. I was overjoyed to see this option! I have often gone to Indian restaurants for dinner and meat eaters want to order a chicken biryani, and so I don't get to eat the biryani. Even if there's a Vegetable biryani on the menu they usually always still prefer to order the chicken biryani. It was so great to be able to have a biryani that I could actually eat, all to myself this time. Also, I could scoop however much or little of it that I wanted. That's something I like about eating here as well. We get to control how much food we want since we scoop it for ourselves. I took some of the Vegetable Biryani and a small amount of Masala Paneer to go on top of it. It was delicious. We've tried their soups in the past and the soups are all good too. Not a lot of vegetarian options unfortunately. If you're not picky though and just need a quick, easy meal with comfortable seating and no having to pay tips...this is a great place to come. You do need to spend a minimum of $10 here though to get your parking reimbursed. I don't recall having to spend $10 in the past. That rule might be a new one. We usually end up spending the $10 minimum very easily though when we come here, since we often come here for a meal.

The good: they do have SOME selections of chips and other snack items, as well as beverages like soda and non-alcoholic drinks. And the prices seems fair and competitive. Also the employees that I've seen seemed friendly. The bad: Not the best selections, not saying they're bad as they do provide options, but it's just as I've seen better. That and if you're looking for something as simple as chips, then unless if I'm missing something, THEIR selections of those items seemed not that far off from Walmart or even the dollar store (ie. Dollarama) options. Bottom line, this is definitely a good spot to visit if you're looking for some grubs to eat as they do have items for you to grab either to eat in the store as they have their own tables and seats (with a flatscreen tv as well, nice touch), foods in the deli to be eaten on the go, and even the typical roasted whole chicken for about $10 for you to take home for dinner. Basically, if you've been to any IGA, then you've probably already seen them all for the most part. :)
