Wow, the new owners really changed this place around! I'm writing this review as I am eating the most amazing pasta! I just ordered a chicken fretuccine with bacon and it's to die for! Worst pizza delivery place ever. Non peak Pizza hours and I live literally 5 blocks away. After and hour of waiting I ask if I can just pick it up. They say no. It's already gone. After an hour and a half I ask if I can cancel and the guy is not apologetic and tells me my pizza is on its way. I told him I don't want a cold pizza. He says "It won't be cold". 1 hour and 53 minutes later they deliver a cold pizza (that I accepted because my gf was HANGRY AS FUUUU) and the pizza tasted awful as well, something tasted like moldy sink towel. Back in the day Mr Pizza man use to be my favorite. Now a days it has become the worst pizza experience I've had in over 5 years since. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Literally the worst Yelp review I have ever wanted to give. I just discovered this place while I was doing the laundry and it was great! Truly the best pizza in Daly City! The sauce had real flavor and consistency - it was just the right amount of sauce with just the right amount of seasoning and not over powering, the secret is always in the sauce. The dough is flavorful - I tasted a litle bit of rosemary in the dough which was moist and tender on the inside and crusty on the edge with the right balance of cheese - mushroom - pepperoni and sausage. I highly recommend this Mr. Pizza Man over any other due to the chefs cooking the pizza. They KNOW what they are doing! I have always ordered from other pizza places and found most very greasy. Once Mr. Pizza man opened up here in Daly city right here in broadmoor area I had to try it out. I found this one way better than any other pizza place. I like this one better than the one in SSF. Its not so greasy and but is cheezy. Love my pepporoni Pineapple pizza and Wings are Excellent! Ordered 1 pizza threw eat24 at 4:45. By 5:20 i get a call telling me the system was messed up and just received the order, telling me itll be done and on the way in 30 mins. By 5:50 the pizza came and was not what I ordered so when i called to see if it was a mistake i was rudely told that my order wasn't the same on their end, that i was incorrect, and was asked "what he wanted me to do about it". I just wanted the one pizza i ordered with what I ordered on it. Went down there to get another one and show him what my order was and took another 15 mins. NEVER AGAIN is right! Vanessa, tonight's "manager" on duty has the worst customer service and management skills. We order from this location ALL the time and we always get the same item...a Mr. Pizza Man Special with extra cheese and tomatoes. We just got our order and they delivered us the wrong item, instead we got a cheese pizza with tomatoes only. We called and spoke with Vanessa, the person who took our order in the first place and instead of saying "no problem" we will deliver you the right pizza - she argues with us and says that it is our fault. She is willing to lose a customer over a $25 pizza order. Rather than keeping our business she wants to argue and blame us for her mistake. As most of the reviews here on Yelp, this location is horrible. Vanessa called the manager, Ernesto and he refused to send us the right pizza for free, instead he tells Vanessa that we have to pay. The owners of this location need a training a "customer service" no wonder mostly all the reviews here of this location are terrible. Ernesto and Vanessa are two of the main reasons! read more

This place is fairly new within the neighborhood. My brother and I ordered the chicken wings, calamari & onion rings all for $25+. The guy kinda messed up my order upon my chicken wings because I asked for Maple Glazed BBQ since my brother can't handle spicy food and he gave me Original. I thought their original flavor is similar to the regular at KFC's style but its actually the spicy flavor. So for those who can't handle spicy food, stay away from Original & Atomic Habanero. The flavor they got was Atomic Habanero but I think that's something I'll maybe try later on if my stomach and tastebuds is trained to handle it. The serving on the calamari rings were a good quantity cause I finished it probably because we had chicken wings and onion rings on the side. Although, I thought the service was kinda slow especially 9 in the evening they still had good customer service. Although the guy messed up our order he still gave us complimentary wings. Even though its slow service and there wasn't anyone present when my brother and I walked in. I was impressed with their customer service. If I could give a negative stars review I would. The first time my husband and I tried this Mr Pizza Man pizzas was during their first few months of opening the place. The crust tasted horrible like unfiltered tap water. i didn't write a review thinking they're still new, we'll give them a few months and try again. Well, tonight we decided it was time to try them out again, so we gave them a shot. WORST IDEA!!! As I am unhappily paying for it with a cocktail of pepto and bathroom time, fun times I would not like to repeat ever again! We're never ordering from here again!!! I'll give them 0.1 stars as their crust didn't taste like tap water this time around, but it wasn't fully cooked, their sauce is funky (not the good kind of funky), and obviously something else was off (we got a Mission Special pizza and a Cheese pizza). BAD SERVICE ! BAD CALZONE I ordered a calzone for delivery. When I got it it the crust was burnt and it was cold (not even a little warm). I called to complain and went down to pick up a new order but, they tried to give me the same burnt crust. long story short the cooks ego was hurt and she asked me never to come back. ( she thinks that you must burn the crust in order to melt the cheese) She didn't need to tell me not to come back I will not make that mistake twice. This place is horrible. I placed an order online and got a confirmation immediately, so I think everything is all okay. After the deadline has passed (1 hr 15 min past the time I ordered, mind you), no delivery. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave a few more minutes before I called. When I called, they basically told me that their ordering system is not working and they never got the order, despite the fact I received a confirmation. I was going to let it go, before they snarkily replied, so I guess you don't want your food then. Well, that gets me going, so I replied that they have my money, so now I expect to have some food. They proceed to get the manager who tells me that it is beyond their control because their ordering system is broken. I reiterate the fact they have my money, so she replies well then your just going to have to wait another hour and 15 minutes. Ridiculous ! I told her, enough, just refund my money. This is the second time I've been burned by them. I guess the old adage is true. Shame on me. I'll not make this mistake ever again with this store and with this franchise. Terrible customer service. i'm only giving this restaurant 1 star.. it's not that i don't like mr. pizza man, i really do love their pizza, what sucks is their delivery service. i've had 2 bad delivery experiences, you would think after the 1st time of not getting our order delivered for 2 hours i would learn my lesson! i can literally see this restaurant from my house which is about 2 blocks away, so i don't understand what takes so long to get our food! the 2nd time i had a bad experience i ordered first thing when they opened on a saturday for delivery of 1 pizza and soda.. not too much to ask... well an hour later still no pizza, so i called and the girl told me it would be another 15-20 minutes.. ok i figured i'll give them another chance.. well 30 min later still no pizza.. so i call back and the girl tells me that it'll be another 25 min for the driver to get there....so i say that i'll just come pick up the pizza.. after being on hold for a few minutes, they tell me that the pizza will be ready in 20 minutes for me to pick up!!!! couldn't believe it.. well that is definitely last time i would order for delivery.. and like i said i'm literally 2 blocks away and can see mr pizza man's front door from my house, i thought that was unacceptable.. even if they offered to give it to me at a discount.. not worth it... i'm not saying i won't stop by again to pick up the pizza but i think i will have to stay there and wait for it to be made rather than ever calling in another order!! i order from domino's which is down the street from MPM and they get here in 25-30 min!!! read more
