All the food and products are from the Amish people. Everyone is so friendly and the service is fast and efficient. My mom ordered a strawberry milkshake. She said it was one of the best milkshakes she ever had. They put a bunch of fresh strawberries inside and she said it wasn't too sweet but just perfect. My husband ordered a cookies and cream milkshake. He also said it was made really well and was not too sweet. Just a clean creamy cookie flavor. Of course we had to try the doughnuts. I ordered an apple and a chocolate with sprinkles. The apple was really good! It was freshly baked, and the filling was delicious and had a nice cinnamon flavor. The chocolate was also very good! They are big donuts too! 2 for $5. Now to the delicious soft pretzels! They are freshly baked, soft, buttery, and delicious!!! You can also get them in garlic, cinnamon, and sour cream and onion. They have pretzel dogs too. Fresh fudge anyone? They have a large variety of fudge treats. They have fresh meats, jewelry, furniture, and other items for sale as well. I wished we had more time to explore and try more things. They are only open on Thursdays and Saturdays until 3:00 PM.

I did have some very tasty donuts (10000 times better and more "real" than Dunkin and less expensive than some bougie places that charge $5 per donut). I have had the filled pretzels - my spouse liked those, me not so much though (I felt like they were too moist/undercooked for my personal liking). I don't have complaints, I just can't buy what I can't afford and guess I will refrain from the pretzel things while my husband enjoys his.

This is a small restaurant but with a large variety of choices and for the 2nd time in a month, we were very pleased with the quality of every dish that we ordered for lunch. We did take-out both times and my wife thoroughly enjoyed both the Mixed Veg Korma and the Navratan Korma. I love lentils and both the Mulligatawany soup and the Dal Tadkha were spot on, prob best Mulligatawany I've ever had. Each time we shared the appetizer, first, Veg Kattu Parotta and then Spring Dosa and our order came with a free Galub Jamon dessert!

Eating in, food ordered as an appetizer and a soup came to the table about 5-10 minutes apart. Dinner entrees were not delivered together...again about 5 minutes apart. Perhaps they only have one frying pan! The food was bland and without the depth of flavor you would expect of Indian cooking. One entree we ordered was the vegetable noodle from the Indio-Chinese specials. It lacked flavor and was extremely dry, needing more sauce. They offered 2 packets of soy sauce. I ordered the Channa Masala which was very bland and flavorless. I've been coming here for the past two years, but I will not be returning. You need to up your flavors and serving skills.

For this visit, we decided to check out Dolce on Main Street in historic Flemington. The restaurant is in a great spot right in the heart of town. We were seated in their tastefully decorated dining room, which felt upscale but still welcoming. For our appetizers, my wife went with the classic caesar salad, which featured classic dressing and herb-crusted croutons. I tried the pear salad which came with walnuts and gorgonzola cheese in a balsamic vinaigrette. Both were a good start to the meal. For the main course, my wife ordered the flounder francaise. It was prepared in a lemon chardonnay sauce with capers and artichokes, which she really enjoyed. I decided to go with the scallop and shrimp special which was pan seared and served with sliced asparagus risotto in a saffron chardonnay lemon sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly and very fresh. We made sure to save room for dessert. My wife had the carrot cake special which was a triple layer cake with real cream cheese, sliced walnuts and golden raisins served with vanilla gelato. I went with the cheesecake. Both were a solid end to the night. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our meal, which we appreciated. It's a BYOB, so keep that in mind if you want to bring a bottle of wine along. However, if you forget, they do have a selection of bottles for sale from Alba Vineyard. We'll definitely be returning in the future to try some of their other traditional Italian favorites.

I ordered the halibut with potato purée on the specials menu. It was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. I also really appreciated how many gluten-free entrée options there were.
