On February 10, 2024, Izzy came to my house in Covina to replace the "inverter" on my 2012 Prius V…read more He did a great job because I've never had problems with it since then. Last month I learned that a new recall on the inverter qualified me for a possible refund through the Toyota Brand Engagement Center. I tried contacting Izzy through Eco Garage phone number (833) 223-5100, but could not get an answer. ================================= To Izzy: Toyota wants the following: CCR - Dealer Document Requested A separate detailed statement written by the servicing dealer on their company letterhead stating the following: Reason the vehicle was brought into the repair facility? The repair facility diagnoses? The repair performed in order to correct the concern? If part numbers are not provided on the original invoice, please include them in the written statement. =================================== Proof of Payment - Repair Document Requested Proof of Payment - Copy of the cancelled check, signed credit card slip, credit card statement showing payment was paid in full, a zero balance contract, or proof of other financing. If the repair was paid by cash, please provide a letter from the repair facility on their company letterhead verifying the amount paid by cash and signed by the manager. Please do not submit a duplicate copy of your invoice as Proof of Payment. ------------------- NOTE: I paid cash to Izzy... -------------------- Thank you, John Lasola (626) 488-6124

Izzy replaced the head gasket on my 2015 Lexus CT200h at the end of 2022. I can honestly say that…read morethese guys are the real deal. Izzy went over and beyond to make sure that the vehicle was delivered to the shop and repaired properly, when I picked up the car, I had a small issue, I returned to the shop and withing minutes it was taken care of, and I was on my way. They also assured me that if there was anything wrong moving forward that they would gladly take care of it. I can HIGHLY recommend Izzy and Sam and will consider using them moving forward, they have my 100% trust.

Apparently they also fix/diagnose hybrid cars here!…read more My prius prime had a warning that "hybrid system malfunctioned" so I was stuck struggling to operate the vehicle for 2 days... The morning of the visit, lo and behold, the error code went away, took it to this shop anyways to see if they can find anything, nothing showed up on the OB2 scanner... They didn't charge me and just told me to monitor and come back if there's any issues, 10/10 for honest people!

Avoid This Shop - Deceptive Pricing and Shady Billing Practices…read more I was ready to do both repairs with them until the sketchy behavior started. Initial estimate: $1k-2k (rear) + $3k-4k (front). After $100 inspection, jumped to $5.3k (front) + $2.9k (rear). Red flags: David insisted $600 trunk repair "wouldn't be good enough" for my Tesla lease, pushed $2.9k replacement. After they missed bumper damage ($600), he suddenly said repair would "look just fine" and offered to "make it even at $2.9k." That's $1,200 worth of work for $2,900--when I asked for itemized invoices, he refused and ghosted me, claiming "system doesn't allow it." At pickup, they handed me an invoice for $4.1k. Then printed a SECOND invoice--same $4.1k total but R&R costs, labor, and parts had shifted by hundreds of dollars, plus a mysterious $1,322 "discount" we never received. How do line items change while the total stays identical? Called my mom (an accountant) to review. After nearly 2 hours of them insulting her for asking legitimate questions, they claimed it was "accounting between two shops to avoid double-taxing our deposit"--ironic since they offered $300 cash discount to dodge taxes. Staff contradicted themselves: first said OEM part (explaining scratches), then insisted it was "brand new" when questioned. Found a PDR specialist who did the rear for $600 (vs their $2,900)--excellent work. Also: they're NOT Tesla-certified despite advertising "certified Tesla technicians".
