We got there a little after 11 and already the place was jamming. All we wanted were a couple of cannolis and sfogliatellas. When we got them home, the product did not disappoint. We felt like we had been immediately transported back to Napoli where we enjoyed these delicacies fresh out of the bakery. Their pizza line is also crazy. You need to be sure to show up as early as possible, or they run out. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Aside from the hustle and bustle, it has a great atmosphere, but I would not recommend eating there unless you feel comfortable with a mass of people all around you.

Nutella croissant, pistachio cream filled. Staff super friendly took my order gave recommendations. Croissant was crispy versus buttery had a decent amount of Nutella in there. Not sure if it's more crispy vs buttery or just end of day. The pistachio filled donut was heavy filled with whip cream delicious and not lactose friendly. Tiramisu good on the sweeter side not too heavy on coffee flavor whip cream and cake bottom. Not super traditional but it's okay. 3 separate counters to order different food items this place can get quite full. Little bit hard to find the price on the items it's not listed with the food itself. In the middle of the place there are tables and chairs to sit and eat at which is nice. Not just a take out spot. Great especially in the winter. Havent had a chance to try the prepared foods or pizza that is for the next visit!

It has been popular among locals since they opened in 2008. The prices are quite reasonable at $3 for 1 scoop and $4 for 2 scoops. Even banana splits are only $5. All prices include taxes! We had a 2-scoop cone: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Pralines & Cream. Both scoops were creamy and tasty. My son really loved them but I did manage to get a little bit of both flavours. There is some savoury food served too like hot dogs, fries, poutine, and coffees. It is owned by a husband and wife team: George and Irene. Both are very pleasant people. They love having fun signs such as: "adults must be accompanied by children" and "children left unattended in this store will be sold to the circus". You can only pay by cash or e-transfer. There is no phone number because I can see they are extremely busy. You can still contact them via social media. There are picnic tables outside. During pandemic times, all staff and customers wear face masks and there is plexiglass used. Only one family is allowed in the small order area at a time. Just outside the entrance, you can be entertained by a famous saxaphone player, Orlando (a Cuban), during nice the afternoons. Today (2021-09-05), we were lucky to also have a guest keyboardist also from Cuba. There is no free WiFi. It is wheelchair  accessible. You can use a washroom by request. Parking may not be easy to find but people tend to parking in the large parking lot behind to store. Review 2021-084 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

It's really a mish mash of stuff. The ice cream sold here is Kawartha Dairy, so that bit is pretty standard. But the servings are pretty big & a single is only $3 and a double $4, including tax. So it's cheaper than going to a Kawartha outlet They only accept cash & etransfer. The guy is pretty friendly, though there were some ice crystals in the ice cream.

All I can say is WOW!!!!…read more This was absolutely delicious and a hidden gem to me. I came here after a dinner near by and it was just what we needed to end the night on the best note. The outside is so cute with some seating areas and a tarp over in case it was raining. They had small hanging lights in front of the entrance. So cute. The inside was very small, only takeout but had great selections! The service was wonderful. We were able to taste test the flavours we wanted. And if you get a small, like we did, we were able to split a small into two flavours. They also threw in 2 small ice cream cones which was a bonus! Food: Pistachio - 4.5/5 Pistachio is not my go to flavour but I tried my friends and it was delicious! It was smooth and nutty tasting. Wow. Might have to try this out for myself next time. Frutti Di Bosco - 5/5 This flavour is yogurt based with fruit. It is DIVINE!! I always love flavours like this and it was so good. I will 100% come back for this. Overall, 5/5 place. Truly a hidden gem and a must try!!

They now have sandwiches in addition to their gelato and Italian deserts! I tried the caprese and turkey and both were delicious. They use fresh pita like style bread and slice their own meat! Each had their own unique dressings but were pricey! The caprese was stuffed with a soft creamy chese (lemon whipped ricotta), hot honey and a balsamic glaze. The lemon and hot honey were almost too subtle, I barely tasted those flavors. But the cheese texture was the star of the show. It tasted so light and fresh. The turkey had a tasty garlic house dressing and was piled high with arugula, turkey and thinly sliced tomatoes. I also got half price on the pistacio gelato and a free espresso shot thanks to the Steppin' with Sara event! Cute shop, plenty of seating outside. Super friendly and speedy service! Definitely worth a visit!

There's plenty of seating including little tables to catch up with a friend, a bench with stools to plug away at on a laptop, and a cozy couch in the back with a nicely stocked bookshelf (more on this later). I had a vanilla latte and it was made perfectly. Looking forward to trying their other drinks. Kudos to the barista who was patient with me and answered all my questions. They also have alternatives to milk for those who prefer almond, oat or soy. Additionally, they have a selection of baked goods e.g. muffins, scones in case you want a sweet treat. There are two very unique features that distinguishes this coffee shop from others. Lining some of the shelves are locally made goods that had my paws itching to try. The cutest soy candles, shea butter, local blends of coffee and other knick knacks. If that doesn't draw you in, that bookshelf all the way at the back has a "leave a book, take a book" situation happening which is a fellow bibliophiliac's dream. All in all, this is worth checking out at least once! I'm not entirely sure if they have wifi. Also, there is free street parking right out in front and along the road.

Service was quick and friendly, and there were plenty of interesting drink options to choose from. On this visit, I ordered the matcha latte with coconut water and the brown sugar shaken espresso. Both were excellent. I was a bit skeptical about the matcha with coconut water, but it completely won me over. It was light, refreshing, and surprisingly well balanced, a unique twist that really worked. The brown sugar shaken espresso was equally enjoyable, with a smooth coffee flavour and just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly, I don't have any complaints. Between the beautiful space, great drinks, and efficient service, this coffee shop is exactly what the area needed. I'll definitely be back and hope it becomes a neighborhood staple.
