The mini gold course was fun and had tents for shade near most holes. The arcade had a ton of old games that we really enjoyed!

Great family fun. We came up here on Father's Day to celebrate and were shocked at how slow it was in Atascadero. There was only one other family here when we arrived so it was easy to check in and get started. Thankfully, shortly after we started more people started to show up. The obstacles are a lot of fun, although I wish there were more. My 2.5 year old daughter had a blast for about 5 holes before she decided to play in the sand. It is nice that they offer several different club options for kids. They provide a nice shaded area as well, which is crucial when dealing with the summer heat. Friendly staff, fun little course, and a good deal especially when combining with the arcade. read more

OMG, so much fun! Took my sweetie for her birthday, and it was a full small but mighty 18 holes, with brightly painted dinosaurs and a couple centering challenges. No moving parts, but lots of small hills and mini "sand" traps. Highly recommended! read more

Mr. Putters Putt Putt has been on my list to try out in Atascadero! As a lover of mini golf, it was an okay 18 hole course but I do have to say that's it's more on the kid level rather than adult. The courses were simple and a lot of them can be done in less than 3 par. The courses also felt a lot like the others, didn't really have any unique-ness to it. Always thought this place was not worth visiting. But was invited to come on a Saturday. I was surprised to see that there are 18 holes. The gentleman that worked there was nice. All the holes are either a 2 or 3 par. Harder than you think. And some of the holes have a spinner that can change how to putt which makes it more fun to play. I would recommend going if you haven't been. I will probably go back as everyone in our group had fun and we all were adults. Give this place a try. read more

We checked the website and yelp and they said they'd be open by 10 am on a Tuesday. We were staying at a hotel in Paso Robles so we drove down to get a round in with our child before the heat got to the peak of 104. We arrived by about 10:30. The gate was unlocked and there was an "open" sign as well as a sign saying to go to the arcade next door to get mini golf clubs and balls. We went over there and they had closed signs up and the doors were locked. We called the number but nobody answered. The automated message said to check yelp for current hours which is what we did. We left with a disappointed child. Very frustrating experience. read more

Pretty cool place for younger kids to hang out and have fun. Took my 7yo and 10yo with their friends and they had a great time. Mining for gemstones was also fun for them and they didn't expect it to be there. The kids are hoping to see a little more fun and creative holes for next time. What a fun morning of mini golf and gemstone sluicing! We were very impressed with what they were able to fit in this relatively small space and the quality of the activities. Very well-kept, and we appreciated the friendly and wonderful customer service. We brought my parents and nephews, six and seven years old. After 18 holes of golf, we purchased bags of sand, and went home with some very generous portions of gemstones. Very impressed! All-in-all a wonderful way to celebrate my nephew's birthday. very cute and local golf course! definitely looks smaller than it is as there is 18 holes! some of the holes are very similar but I still found it very fun as some of the similar holes had challenge wheels to spice up the course a bit. Definitely great for a 1-2 hour outing with family and fun! It did throw me off a bit that you need to get the mini golfing equipment from the arcade but once you go and retrieve it the course is all yours to enjoy ! We passed the location twice, first was because we didn't see the business sign, second because we weren't sure where to park. The sign for that is actually behind the restaurant beside it. That's probably the best directions I can give you just act like your going to the laundry mat and you'll find the right place. Initial thought was $8 per person for this small course seems pricey.. as we played we noticed that even though each hole is probably half as far as other mini golf places this one didn't disappoint in the challenge. Also as an added bonus there are a few spinner at the start of the whole to shake things up, for example one player had to make their first stoke eyes closed and another had to stand on one foot, things like that. The course goes fairly fast. It's basically a fun 30 minutes to test your putting skills and challenge others. They do have frequent returnee cards. Still would like to see this closer to 6-6.50 price range. read more

We were in town for spring break and found out about this cute little spot. We were the only ones there, even better since i always feel rushed if people are waiting behind us. We came here on a Sunday and it was $24 for 3 of us to play. The course was boring though! Where are all of the fun tunnels and bridges and windmills and everything? After a long week of work, I drove 30 minutes to Mr Putters Putt Putt with a good attitude and a keen love for putt putt. As I approached the gate at 8pm, the one and only employee was locking up. You'll notice that their hours say the close at 9pm, which I had called earlier that day to confirm, because I'm thorough like that. The employee was extremely mean and wouldn't let me even get in a quick nine to itch my putt putt craving. His reasoning was that they had no business all night...well probably because no one can trust when they'll be open. This place is so fun! Just had a little date night with my hubby. We breezed through kinda fast and it took us about an hour. I plan to come back with a larger group. We showed up around 6:30, the weather had cooled down a lot. The little course is really cute with a tiki-island theme, waterfalls and tiny sand trap hazards. The spinner wheels make it more fun. I had to do my first shot with my eyes closed on one hole and be careful at hole 16 or 17, you might have to switch scores with an opponent. Well worth the price, it's a fun activity for all ages. My son and I attended a birthday party here today. Happy to say I was impressed. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We had probably 10+ kiddos running around and they handled it like champs. Options for gem mining or fossil digging was a big hit. The kiddos were mostly 6 year olds...so they obviously didn't all know how to golf but still had a good time going through the course. There was plenty of seating for grown ups. I was worried about the lack of shade but was pleasantly surprised to find that they had plenty of umbrellas out as well as shade from the building next to them. The course and seating area were clean and well maintained. My son has already asked several times when we can go back. This business is a wonderful addition to our little town and we will definitely be back! read more

I am in a wheelchair and was able to get a whole in one, the course was wheelchair friendly and even playable for someone in a wheelchair, I had to work around it little few times but it was awesome! Mr Putters opened just a couple weeks ago. It will eventually have a pizza restaurant too but as of now only the mini golf course is open. Great service! Though small it is still 18 holes and took me and my wife 35-40 minutes to complete. We bought a pass that they offered for unlimited visits until Labor Day. We came to this area for the first time to stay for a week and decided to check this place out. Unfortunately the first time we swung by it was closed (there was confusion about the hours, but I will chalk that up to Covid times). We ended up going on our way out of the city. It's a cute but small little place. It doesn't have all the accoutrements of structures and obstacles and running water on the course, but everything was clean and in good condition. There's not a lot of variation between holes. My kids also did the gemstone panning activity in the front and enjoyed it a lot, but it's probably only good for kids who like to collect rocks. I'd recommend this place for a kid between 3 to maybe 8 years old to kill about 45 min-1 hour. It's a little pricey for what it is, but if you're passing through and need your kids to get out some energy then it fits the bill. The employee behind the counter was nice and friendly. read more

The course is fun and can be challenging for kids, but it is very tiny and simple in its layout. It is definitely a good addition to Atascadero, however, at $8 per person it adds up quickly for a family that may want to play there. The full-sized miniature golf courses in Santa Maria and Ventura charge $10.and $11. respectively, but they are large enough and complete enough to give you a much fuller experience. If Mr. Putter's just charged $5. per player, the place would fill up with eager takers and wouldn't be so empty as it was recently two nights running and the business would be more profitable for the owners. read more

Continue to be shocked by how fun this place is. Great 18 holes walking distance from down town Atascadero, decent street parking. Very fun, and unless you are invested in the "moving" gimmicks from normal miniature golf, this is a perfectly serviceable course.
