Anyways...they can be a pain to get worked on. First of all, the "Mr" of Mr Smog Check, was super nice, quick to help me and had a comfy office to wait in (which was a super short time).... Second, he encountered the problem, attempting to smog my VW, that another smog place had told me about, but he pressed on and because of his experience with these types of cars, was able to make it work and get my smog reading. Casey b. was right ABOUT THIS COMPANY (how things change). I wish I would shopped around before just going here again like I did last year for my truck and the year before with my RV. His sign is misleading. It's says 37.95 + certificate + coupon. So anyways, right when I get there I seen 37.95. I said cool, that's sounds like the going price. So first of all the owner pulls in another customers truck and almost runs me over. Good thing the customer pulled me out of the way. I told him, dude, u almost ran me over and he tells me nay, I know what I'm doing. Anyways he does my smog check, then I go to pay and it's 50.00 instead of 37.95 like Im expecting. I said I thought your sign says 37.95 and the owner, Chuy says it says 37.95 + certificate + coupon and that I can x it out when I leave and so I did. So I called other smog shops in the area to see what the going price to do a smog check for my truck in the area goes for and got quoted 35.00 out the door with coupon (includes smog certificate) for my 2011 Toyota Tacoma from a smog company in upland ca. No coupon is 40.00. Coupon can be retrieved at google or yelp. Picture of coupon will work. So I called Mr smog Check back and explained to him that his sign is misleading and not very clear and MAYBE it should BE A LITTLE CLEARER AND say something like 37.95 WITH COUPON + certificate Instead of 37.95 + certificate + coupon (WHICH MAKES NO SENSE NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT). He got very mad and started cussing at me (very unprofessional) and told me that hell would refund me 5.00, BUT TO NEVER COME BACK. I told him it's not 5.00, ITS 12.05 and that's when he got really mad, started cussing even more and told me Fuck off, that he's not refunding me nothing now, to call the state and to do whatever I need to do. Nobody challenges me, SO I WILL BE DISPUTING THE 12.05 with my credit card (that's why I use my credit card) AND CALLING the state to report him and file a complaint at BAR.ca.gov and request for the state to make him make his sign clearer AND NOT MISLEADING. THIS BUSINESS opened my eyes. Next time I'm doing my homework like I normally do. THANKS FOR SHOWING YOUR TRUE COLORS I got much better things to do with my time than this, but I took the time to do this so consumers can make a wise decision. CHEAP!!! As in affordable. Mr.Smog may be his name, but he's a breath of fresh air. I was actually taken aback with how friendly, honest, and hardworking Chewie (owner) was. He greeted me and my cousin with a firm handshake, told us immediately he had two cars infront of us, and that he would go as quickly as possible to get to us. We told him we were going to get drinks, so he offered us chilled water bottles from his personal cooler. I was actually shocked at that, treating us as if we were in his house and this was not just business. He was informed in his craft, as my sports car has a special reverse gear and is rear-wheeled, yet he knew what he was doing. He heard my cousin turn his car on and off when leaving. He came out and said I realize you must be wondering why all your warning lights on it's because we just did a test and they'll go away shortly. Within seconds he was absolutely right.
