He grabbed the white bread without asking me and was starting to make it. I said I want the rosemary bread. He said you should say when you order otherwise we give you the white bread. I said you should've asked me. He said we don't ask, you're supposed to tell us, and that's how it is at every location. I told him that's not true and that I've never had that issue at any other location. Someone said it's fine and made it on the rosemary like I wanted. But that guy really soured the experience. Then, I had a free sandwich I had earned by having 72 points. I got the roast beef, my g/f got the turkey. I earned the 72 points and intended on using it for the roast beef that I was eating. I told the cashier and it automatically took off the cheaper turkey sandwich that my g/f wanted. Cashier seemed to be trying. I don't even remember what happened in the end, but I was annoyed by this. While my sandwich tasted great per usual for Jersey Mike's, the mayo was the sloppiest I had ever seen. Total carelessness. The only reason I'm not giving them 1-star is the redeeming value of the great tasting sandwich, but that one sandwich maker blaming the customer was so uncalled for.

I haven't been here since a few years ago and actually have been spending more of my Sticky Bun money at the new Round World Coffee House down the street. I decided to stop by today and try one to see if I was still a fan. I decided to add a bowl of soup because I love French Onion and it was on the menu. Let's just say, the 3-Stars was the boosted rating from the soup. Actually loved the soup better than the bowl of French Onion I had at the Coffee House. The stickies, though, no comparison. The sticky buns at Round World Coffee House are hands-down the best there is. They are much larger. The syrup on the bun I had at Sticky's was really gritty. I have yet to find a gritty bun at RWCH. For me, that was the last bun I will ever eat at Mr Sticky's. I will however be back for a bowl of soup when that craving comes back again. Also, on a side note, they should put some money into their outdoor menu board! I don't have the patience to read all the taped up 8.5X11's of different sandwiches, cheesesteaks, etc. that you are serving. read more

Located in a picturesque area of Williamsport, PA, and a decent trek off from I-80, Newberry is a local, mom & pop type shop that is popular among the locals. Their menu offers a nice variety of sub sandwiches which is what we were interested in. The shop is a counter-service type establishment. Menu is on the wall and also on paper near the ordering counter. There's a small dining area inside the shop and also, an outdoor seating area. We were taking our food to go. We ordered 1) cold Salami Sub and 1) Mushrooms and Bell Peppers Cheesesteak with cherry (hot) peppers. We also grabbed a local brand of spicy jalapeno flavored potato chips. We received good, friendly service. The staff was helpful to us in deciding what we wanted to order. The menu items were reasonably priced and you got good bang for your buck. The sandwiches were huge and loaded. Both the sandwiches were good. I got the cheesesteak and it hit the spot. The meat was well-cooked and flavorful, and the veggies and the cheese added a delicious taste. My only gripe about the cheesesteak was that the bread was very soft where the sandwich fell apart due to how hot (temp.) the cheesesteak was, thus making for a sloppy eating experience. But that's why you have utensils like fork. The Salami sandwich was also delicious. The chips were okay. They were a bit salty for my liking and not quite spicy. Overall, this was like a hidden gem of a find for us (since we were visitors passing by and not locals). I would like to have more of their other offerings. I am not sure when I'll be back in that area but suffice to say that I will be going back to Newberry when I return to this part of Pennsylvania in the future. Check out Newberry. The only thing was that it was quite busy on the time that we went. We went on a Saturday and because of that it took us quite a bit of time about 3040 minutes just to get to our bagel order so for that reason, I'd probably go earlier or later just because it can't take 40 minutes to get your order.
