Initially I was so happy to see that there was a stroopwaffle place close by. I think this place is missing the main step, which is cutting the waffle in half and placing a nice scoop of caramel and spreading that on there. It is even missing from there demo video on how they make it. When it's fresh with fresh caramel you can really taste the difference The service is nice and quick and the ambiance is cute. Perfect dessert spot. Stopped by after running errands and it was the perfect end to the day. They had a variety of stroopwafels to choose from and customize. They also had other snacks food items on their menu to choose from. We went with classic stroopwafels with different toppings and they were delicious. This place is fairly new so you can't be expecting it to be running perfectly. It does have its. I wouldn't say flaws but when you pull up to the place it there's a huge sign that says that it's in the back of the building. You can walk through the drink place that's in front of it to get to it, but it's kind of confusing. I feel sorry for the people that work at the drink place. The weight is a little long which is not too bad, but when you get it I think it's lacking some either ice cream or whipped cream. The flavors are good but they do need a little something to make it better. I guess if you take it home you can put it ice cream or whipped cream on it yourself. All in all the place was clean and the service was good. Not sure if I'd go back again? read more

Order was wrong and could not be fixed, I ordered a strawberry drizzle, a 4 piece macron, and a 4 piece mini which was confirmed on the screen when I paid, and instead I received the first two and a KitKat stroopwaffle that I did not order or want. I told the employee that I did not order this and could not have since it was not even an option on the screen and after a long time of her on the phone with a boss was told I'd have to pay 8 more dollars for my original order. I left and after calling to request a refund I was sent to voicemail both times. The macarons were bland and mushy and the stroopwaffles were also bland, almost like whole grain and did not taste or feel much like a stroopwaffle. Clearly there are issues with the kiosk and not much hope of resolution with issues. Would not recommend. read more

The wait time was astronomical as they only have 1 worker on weekends and only 2 waffle irons... I found the set up to be completely inefficient especially when there was only 1 person in line before us who waiting at least 20 minutes before getting their order. I believe it took 35 minutes for us to receive our order while the music was absolutely blaring in a small space. These are also not very good? I'm familiar with stroopwaffles and the filling in these were so overly sweet it wasn't the normal flavor. Pretty disappointed and I feel like this place is way over hyped. read more

I just saved hundreds of dollars by not flying to Amsterdam. Stumbled upon this place randomly and I am very impressed. I lived in the Netherlands for a year so I know my stroopwaffels and these were excellent. They are freshly made, delicious, and great for sharing. All of the flavors looked great - the chocolate here is really high quality. Kudos to the staff - they were friendly, helpful and efficient. I will be returning soon. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Now all we need is a nieuwe haring stand and an Indonesian restaurant and the complete Amsterdam experience will be here in Petaluma. Hello, I hope everyone's having a good night. Me and my boyfriend went to Mr. Stroopwafel tonight around 6:30 pm well before closing and didn't have a good experience. We went in to try this new spot hoping it would be a new go to. We ordered one of their chocolate strawberry mini stroopwafels excited to try it. The young woman working boxed up the old display item and sent us on our way. The other woman working with her also shot her a confused look about what she did. Not knowing if the waffle was fresh, we checked it. The strawberry was sitting in a congealed moisture, with white specks under, the chocolate was moist from whatever the strawberry was sitting in. So in disbelief we showed them and let them know that the strawberry's looked old and inedible. She asked us if we wanted her to make one and put the waffle she just served us back into the display case. Shocked at the question we said yes. As if going in assuming the $5.50 mini stroopwaffel was going to be fresh, this was not what we paid for. She made the waffle within 4 minutes. Going in through teaspoon (boba place attached) we saw all the fresh ingredients as well as the hot plates they cook on. So we automatically assumed we would be served fresh food. This reflects on the training of the store, and the protocols. I obviously don't work there but this is unacceptable and a completely valid expectation. In the end the fresh stroopwaffle was good, just didn't feel right after all we went through to get it. read more
