I had accidentally ordered the wrong noodles, I called the place asking if they could make me something else, the lady working was being highly rude and when I was still speaking she hung up on me. Small dining area with seating for maybe 20 people tops. I popped in after a hike and got the salmon lovers combo which was really good. The waitress was very friendly and service was fast. It was just me and two other people eating. Lots of pick up orders. Prices are very reasonable with the special rolls being in the $13 range, with most other places charging upwards of $20. My salmon lover combo was $17 and included 2 pieces of sashimi, 2 sashimi and a salmon cucumber roll. Overall I was very happy with my experience and the salmon was tasty. Duh-mazing!! This place is so good, I had to create new word. Their food is incredible in both quality and taste. Too many places rely on salt and additives to make up the flavors. This place uses real ingredients to make the food authentic. Notice that I said, make the food authentic, not make it seem authentic. Their delivery time is great. Unfortunately, I haven't eaten there for a while, so I can't comment on their ambiance. The only things I had an issue with were: 1. The bubbles in their bubble tea were much harder than they should have been, 2. There were no flavor options for the bubble tea (what if someone is allergic to the one they default to?), and 3. The website (when you bring it up on your phone) doesn't show the monthly specials. Aside from these few things, I can't foresee a reason to not come back. Hopefully we will be ordering from them more often when we want great sushi. read more

The food was s very authentic and delicious. I got the Chicken Katsu Bento Box Special which was amazing. They were able to switch out the California Roll for the Chicken tempora roll. There was a price difference but it was not to bad. Service is a little bit slow. If you are in a rush be prepared to wait for a little bit. The ambiance is nice. A small interment location. Just went here for lunch... the place is super small but it was really cozy and the waitress was awesome, so friendly and attentive. I have to say this is some of the best Japanese food I've ever had. We didn't really get sushi, my friend got the salmon poke appetizer and enjoyed it, I got teriyaki wings, sauce on side, they were amazing! Then I got a no rice roll, the Mountain Fuji roll, quite possibly one of the best rolls I've ever eaten, it was so delicious. My friend got the tuna sandwich but subbed salmon, omg another amazing delight, so good. There's only one problem, I love a half an hour away!!! Trying to figure out how/ when I can go back. After moving to a new area, you usually spend some time searching for some new staple places: a place to get pizza, or Chinese, or Tex Mex, etc. I hadn't gotten around to finding a new sushi place before the time for quarantine came around. But suddenly, when you can't go out to places, you start craving what you can't have! After looking for reviews on Yelp, I decided to order take out from Mr. Sushi, and I was not disappointed. As a Saturday night order, I ordered online and it gave me only a 30 minute wait for pick up! The place itself is very small, but sometimes that's where the best food comes from. The people were very nice and those who were packing the food had gloves on and bagged everything in plastic. I ordered 2 special rolls and 3 regular rolls. The Volcano roll was my favorite! They even added sweet gesture of sending fruit along with a message of a "boost for your immune system". I will definitely be ordering again from Mr. Sushi. Ordered delivery via the website for dinner last night. Get a phone call that the driver can't find my address which is impossible since it's in reflective on the fence and house both visible from the roadway. So I go outside to see where she could be to help direct her and no where to be found. Finally she comes out from behind the house instead of just having gone to the front door like any normal delivery person...SMH I ordered the teriyaki wings, peppered tuna, beef negimaki, and Superman roll. Everything was delicious except the beef negimaki which felt old, stale, and dried out and had no sauce of any kind. Ordered from here yesterday at 7:47pm. Confirmed less than a minute later for an 8:02 pickup time. I got there at 8:10 and they told me 10-15 more minutes. It actually took 23 more minutes. I waited 45 minutes with a 2 year old. Awful. And they weren't even a little apologetic. Borderline rude. The food is good but not worth the hassle. Good sushi but not worth the frustration. I've ordered 3 times and 3 times it took over an hour to get here, this last time it took over an hour and a half! Each time I would call to ask about my food's whereabouts only to be told "it's already left with the driver" only to show up in the exact amount of time it would take to drive here (if you don't catch my drift, that food was definitely still at the store). This time I had to call back 20 minutes after my first call with still no food. Not a sole there seems to know what's going on and the girl said she would call the driver and call me back. Very clean, very nice people, byob, good prices, very fresh fish. Creative menu!! My only complaint was the spicy tuna wasn't spicy. In their defense maybe it was just a bad batch. They have a really awesome online ordering system, point and click and then eat! The delivered to Kinnelon and sushi was LEGIT. Got sick sadly the last order. Threw out 70$ worth of food. It's going to take me a while to be able to go back. This is the second time.

I've been going to Mr Sushi since they opened. In support of our local businesses I ordered from them last week. They indicated my food would be delivered in 45 mins. I called a hour later as it was no here. They said it was on the way. Still nothing. I called again and was told the same. After 90 mins my food was delivered - our sushi was smashed and our bento box was cold. I called and spoke with the Manager who indicated he could send another order but it would be 45 mins. I told him not to worry about it. He then said he would refund my order which I agreed to. I checked my account a week later and never got a refund. Another manager called who was openly hostile saying I had to give the food back if I wanted a refund. Something no one ever told me. I'm done giving them my money. read more

This is one of my favorite places to order from.There quick clean my order is always packed correctly, and they follow all the Covid guidelines. I normally go there on Fridays when I get out of work and pick up my food and it normally only takes about 20 minutes to a half an hour which I find to be really reasonable for how Busy they are, their staff is so friendly and helpful, and they always take time to explain menu items when I have a question. I like to order special rules and they're never made incorrectly, also I love the bulgogi it's one of my favorites. Not to mention how insane their basic staples like green salad and miso soup and spicy kani salad and things like that are just always amazing. read more

I ordered pick-up and was told 15 min, when i went 15 min later i paid, and waited while they packed up food orders for people who were not even there, as mine sat out on the counter for an extra 15 minutes while i also just stood there waiting. Once i finally got home the Food was almost inedible. The crab cakes were still frozen ( they also are supposed to come with 2, which i clarified on the phone to the girl, and only one was given), and the sushi had zero taste, and the spicy tuna rolls were mushy and warm. They have young people answering phones, packing orders, waitressing, and sadly they seem to not know what they are doing.
