The street tacos are straight forward, no frills, delicious. Don't come without trying the margaritas!! They are well balanced in flavor, and strength. Warm welcome every time I come in and the service at the table or bar top is just as great. Ambiance- good. Great music definitely slower for a late lunch if that's the ambience you like. I ordered fajitas for 10 people for a dinner party I held on Labor Day. The cost was very reasonable and the menu included many items I thought would be add ons. I was very pleased when I went to pick up the food, as they had everything ready to go at the appointed time. It was clear the food had just been prepared and it was piping hot. My husband and I visited for breakfast the first time and really enjoyed. Served both a red and a green sauce (our favorite of the two). Both of us ordered the Huevos Divorsiados and the plates were hot, fresh, well portioned, very reasonably priced and delicious! Service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed it so much, we returned within the week with our two young daughters for lunch. They were very excited to get the complimentary queso (without lots of "green stuff" in it ;) ). The refried beans this particular day were lacking in flavor but everything else was spot on. My family and I love this place . My first reaction was oh no more Mexican food choices. The reality was a place that uses super fresh ingredients that elevate street tacos and common dishes to a level that is above other competitors. I hate rating Mr. Taco this low but three times and you're out. We've been there about 5-6 times or more but the latest visit was the final disappointment. A couple of days ago we went & ordered barbacoa tacos on corn tortillas with a side of charro beans. The tacos only had maybe an ounce of meat in them and not sure what it was but it was not barbacoa. We were so disappointed. The two times before that, with just us and with friends, the food was flavorless. Did they lose their original cook? Their skinny margarita is very good and the service is always good.
