Friendly staff and very clean and well kept restaurant. I ried the chorizo egg and cheese, bacon egg and cheese, and sausage egg and cheese breakfast tacos. Cooked to order and the eggs cooked perfectly - not dry and hard. I got 5 tacos for $11.37

Just moved to the area and have been looking for a good taco shop style Mexican restaurant. Hit the mail on the head coming here. Asada fries were excellent. Had the California burrito and enjoyed it as well. Staff was friendly and portions were good for the price. Only bummer is their hours are until 3 pm so no late night taco trips

Really really good tacos! Service was quick and friendly, restaurant was clean. If you're looking for a quick and delicious taqueria with choices for tacos, burritos, and tortas this is your place! Several choices of meats including fajita, chicken, al pastor, barbacoa, discada (combo of beef and pork meats) just to name a few. Definitely coming back when feeling in the mood for homemade style tacos. (Note: they're closed on Mondays)

Make sure you're not getting overcharged. I called in an order of two bacon, egg and cheese tacos earlier this week (I looked at the menu online FB). Letty, part owner, gave me my total and I handed her my card. I looked at the receipt right after I left the parking lot and I noticed I was charged extra for the cheese. I called and spoke to Letty. She said they changed the pricing/menu and that is why I was charged for the cheese. I was passing this place up today. I had to stop by and look at the menu they have up at the drive through. It literally tells you that the taco COMES with cheese. The fact that she lied to me is what upsets me. I will never support this business ever again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Beans were from a can. Nothing redeemable. None of the meats were not fried on a grill. Flavorless. Boiled meat...need I say more!!

The boiled fajitas were down right disgusting. El pastro was unlike anything I've ever tasted- what was that???

Not your normal Mexican fare. Food was delicious and artfully presented. I go there every time I am…read morein Conroe. Service is always top notch!

Gringo's is a Tex Mex chain, the name is fitting because there are a lot of honkies up in here. I…read moresay that with love because the food is pretty good. It's not the best but it's reasonably priced, the margaritas are good and everybody is having a good time. This location is nothing different. We were out in the Conroe area helping my Mother in law with her lake house and stopped by for lunch. I ordered the Seafood Enchiladas, my wife had the Presidente Combination and my mother in law ordered the Cozumel Chicken Salad. The shrimp in my Seafood enchiladas were cooked well but they didn't have that snap that really good shrimp have. Also, the seafood is on top of the enchiladas, and the flavors blend in with the cheese and the sauce. The enchiladas on their own is just cheese. The charro beans didn't taste Tex Mex enough, it was all sausage and like a ranch flavor My wife had the Presidente enchiladas. I tasted them and again all the flavor comes from the sauce on top. My mother in law's Cozumel Chicken Salad looked really pretty. I didn't take a bite though because that would've been weird. I like Gringo's and would come back to this location. We had good service and the restaurant was clean and well kept. I love that they offer red and green salsa, although their chips are a little thicker than I like. Overall it's a decent meal at a reasonable price... and the margaritas are fantastic, I really thought about getting one but can't let the mother in law think I'm a drunk.
