I normally don't do this , but have to warn people about Mr. Tire in Nottingham by the Ihop and Weis off Belair Road Where do I begin? First of all I had an appointment at 7:30am yet the guy who did the oil change didn't even show up until 8. I also needed to have my wipers replaced and the guy behind the counter first told me that it would be $100 extra and when I told him that was ridiculous, he punched a few more buttons and then told me it would be $50, so I said to go ahead. This was at 8 and by 8:15 they tried to sell me brakes (which had just been replaced last year and the car doesn't get driven that much), so I told them no. By 9am the oil change was done and they were still waiting for the wipers to be delivered from a store 10 minutes away, I decided to give them a little more time but by 9:30, they were still saying they were waiting for the wipers, so I told them to forget it and ring me out. Between the oil change ($75) and ($25)for the oil filter it ended up soaking me for $120 total. Needless to say between the attempts to gouge me for overpriced items, unnecessary repairs and the ridiculous waste of time waiting for a 10 minute delivery, not only will I never go there again but warn others to save themselves read more

Thanks, Jesus! Mr. Al is back. I just came in for an oil change today. So, the last time I was there, it was for tires, and I ended up waiting an hour before they opened the building. The thing is, the day before, someone told me I could come in at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday because they had to reschedule my appointment due to being backed up. They don't open until 9 a.m. on Sundays, and I was waiting for about an hour because another guy told me the same thing. If Al had been there, it wouldn't have happened, or he would have given me a discount for the inconvenience. Please keep Al at this location Thank You! read more

Order tires from tire agent and they were delivered to Mr. Tire at 7923 Belair Road. Received an email from tire agent that missed a tire was busy on Saturday and could not do the 8:00 a.m. appointment and asked if I could do Sunday at 8:00 a.m. I called Mr. Tire to confirm and they said yes. We're busy Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. You can bring it in Sunday at 8:00 a.m. I've been sitting in front of Mr. Tire since 7:55 and they are not open at 8:43. The sign says open but no one is in there. This is a huge inconvenience because they have my tires in there so I have no choice but to sit and wait. I've never had a bad review for Mr. Tire. I'll always come here and I love the customer service but the inconvenience this morning is what's making me right this bad review. read more

This place is easy to find and although there's not a lot of parking on site there is a shopping center next to it so parking wouldnt be an issue even when crowded. I made an appointment to have an oil change and arrived right at my scheduled time. As I entered there were two other customers in the waiting area. There was no "Welcome to Mr. Tire" or hello or any other acknowledgement that I had entered the business. After a few moments the staff person who turned out to be the manager began to speak with one of the other customers that was in the waiting area although not at the service desk. They finished their transaction and I was finally asked if I needed service. I had a Groupon which was supposed to make my oil change approximately $70. Due to "shop fees" and the need of 1.6 additional quarts of oil I was charged an additional $54. I'm not sure who's truly to blame for the lack of information regarding the total pricing but it doesn't seem customer friendly to be greeted with an additional bill after you've paid. The waiting area was ok I guess. Some of the seats were worn. No snack machine or coffee but there was a water tower available. The service team seemed generally disinterested in being a part of the "customer service" team. The manager (Big Al, I believe his name tag said) was patient when explaining the difference on costs and seemed to have some frustration that the total costs weren't explained in the Groupon. My service took approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. The TV in the waiting area was off so I walked through the shopping center to pass the time. I'd go back if in a bind but I'll likely find another repair shop to complete my automotive needs. read more

This review is for the shop in Fullerton, MD on Belair Rd. I arrived for an 8:00 appointment on a Tuesday and my car was ready by 2:00. Brakes and rotors were replaced on all 4 wheels and brake system fluid was drained and replaced with clean fluid. I also had my usual rotate, balance, and this time a 4 wheel alignment. Mr Kelly was in charge. He was very polite and professional. Surprisingly, the cost was less than what I was expecting. Bonus!! I don't live around the corner from this shop but in my experience it is the best one for good service the first time. No returns for bad work unlike 2 other shops closer to where I live. The mechanic had lowered the left back seat flat (don't know why for this service) and left a significant amount of black hand prints in and outside the car. I appreciate his good work and would just suggest a courteous wipe of anything black after the job was done. read more

Had an appt on harford road, arrived on time only to find they couldn't take me because staff went to pick up their personal tires. Make 2nd appt on website with belair road. The day of appt they cancelled, no wheel alignment guy on weekends. They rescheduled me for today at 930am. Arrived ontime, no alignment guy. Signed in anyway. He arrived at 950am. Waiting until 1030am, only to find out they were working on cars from the previous day. I complained. Finally they took me i was the only one there. Jensen the in take person was wearing slides, who wears open toed shoes in a auto shop. Poor service, poor everything. Will NEVER go to Mr tire. read more

set an appointment online once I get to the store the tires are not available & had to purchase additional tires at a higher price I tried to complain but Mr. Tire has no email to send my complaint. I called customer service & they wanted to remote into my computer so they could verify my issue. Very difficult to deal with. Came in for an oil change yesterday and specifically picked Mr. Tire and this location because I needed my tires rotated and brakes checked - which is included in their oil change package. I waited over an hour while my car was on the lift only to be told they didn't have the oil and they were waiting for it to be delivered. I would have gone somewhere else if I knew that. But then, even with an hour of having my car on the lift, they didn't check the brakes or rotate the tires. I called customer service who said basically that's not part of the oil change package that I paid for because it's "free". So, if they offer something as part of a package and then just don't do it, oh well! That's some customer service! They did offer me to come back and have the tires rotated, but I don't have another 2 hours to waste on this again. There's plenty of other options in the area - ones that their customer service is actually helpful. I didn't expect a full refund but I did expect a partial refund for a partial service being done. I didn't need just an oil change for that price - I needed the whole package and they didn't do it. Find someplace that values their customers more. Edit: I saw the response from the company and that was the phone number I did call today who were incredibly unhelpful and suggested that I spend more of my time and gas money to come back for a service that should have been done in the first place. read more

I have been bringing my family's cars here for years but the service has deteriorated so much recently I will not be returning.

I got a flat tire in my car this morning. I called around 2pm to see if they had my tire available to replace and if they had availability to get it done. They had the tire and told me that I could bring it in, but they weren't sure if they could get it done before they closed (5pm). Brought it in and they were super friendly and honest about the price. Next thing I know, I'm getting a call from Mr.Tire (at like 4:20pm) stating that my car is ready to go!! They're amazing! I called the location at 7923 Belair Rd in Baltimore on Thurs 3/21/24 and asked forvthe earliest appointmen on Fri 3/22. The young man on the phone stated he had an opening at 8am, so I booked it. I arrived at approx 7:45. The sign on the door states they are open on Fri 730am - 700pm. It is currently 840 and they still have not opened. The last time I had an oil change appointment with them, they called to tell me my car was ready. When I arrived to pick it up I found that they hadnt even begun to work on it. I believe in giving everyone a second chance but, this is the end of the line for me. They will never get my business again read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Jim was rude to me and kept talking over me as I was trying to set an appointment. Called me at 7:30am to cancel my appointment I set online, tried calling back at 9:30, 9:45, and 10:00am to try and reschedule. No answer for any of my calls. Jim then complains to me when I walk in that he tried to reach me and couldn't. 0/10 on all fronts. Just take your car to a local garage for your work needed, you'll get better service, prices, and won't have to deal with Jim. read more

I went to the Mr. Tire located at 208 Reisterstown Rd. for an oil change and wheel rotation. When I got my car back, I noticed that the mechanic had gone through my glove compartment. He had left most of my belongings from the glove compartment on the floor. I called the store and was told that they went through my stuff looking for the wheel lock key instead of calling me as they should. While putting my belongings back, I realized they had stolen a rent check meant for my mother from one of her renters. When I told them, this block woman was told that they couldn't do anything about it because it would be my word against the only other person who had been in my car. Why would I lie, no of it was my money. And by the way, it is very difficult, impossible, to contact directly a district manager to make a formal complaint. I was told that I couldn't even get a work email. Will no longer be going to any Mr. Tire after going to this same location for over 20 years. I miss Gordon (former store manager). read more

This Mr. Tire is quick, honest, and very reasonable priced! I called yesterday morning to make an appointment for a tire valve replacement. They were able to fit me in the same day, which was great because my tire was going flat. When I arrived, I was informed that they were running behind, no big deal since I live down the street. I head home and about a half hour later I receive a call saying I need my sensor replaced along with the valve stem. I was given exact pricing and guaranteed the car would be finished today even though they had to order the part. An hour passed and my car was finished! The man who completed my paperwork took the time to explain what they replaced and why they replaced the sensor. He even brought me the old piece so I could see for reference. I came in thinking that I needed new brakes, but after they inspected it it turned out the brakes just needed to be cleaned, which cost a a fraction of what new brakes would have cost. WHATEVER you do, do NOT go to this place. It's been a while since the other reviews so this store may be under new management. I left my vehicle there to get 4 new tires at around 9am on a Saturday. I was quoted a price of $423 "on the rim and out the door." I was told an alignment may be needed at which case $99 extra would be charged, and I agreed to that as well. At that moment I asked them to LOOK at the brakes but then changed my mind and asked them NOT to look.The guy insisted he should look but that they would call me before doing anything. At around 1pm I received a call saying that my brakes were fine. But the guy wanted to know what problems I was having. I told him I had experienced issues with the brake pressure. He then said he would have the guy DRIVE it around and he would call me back. Of course I never heard anything else about the brakes. The only other call I received from this store was at 6:30pm to let me know the car was ready and the store closed at 7pm. My husband and I elected to pay over the phone and pick up the car (NEVER DO THIS!). Now here's where I messed up: I didn't ask the total. I SO regret this! I went ahead and paid over the phone assuming that the total was no more than $550... The original quoted $422 plus $99 alignment and any other possible fees. When I picked up my car imagine the shock of a seeing the receipt with a charged amount of $931? $931. I broke down in tears. Needless to say I will be fighting all these hidden fees and charges for work I did not consent to. I wish there was a no star rating for this place. I will NEVER go to another Mr Tire. read more
