I went into their Fairlawn store for two tires. The guy I talked to was very nice and professional.

They cracked my windshield, admitted fault (in writing), assured me it would be taken care of to maintain the warranty on my windshield, and now they are refusing to honor their word. I brought my car in for an oil change and brake pad replacement on Saturday. I had a coupon for a free set of wiper blades. While the tech was installing the blades, he let go of the wiper and it cracked my windshield. Sean assured me that they would take care of it by replacing the glass. I told him that my only concern was maintaining the 5-year windshield warranty that I bought for my car 3 years ago. He said that would be no problem at all. He was very apologetic and said that they would use whatever glass was necessary to uphold my warranty! He also said he would do whatever he needed to get me in ASAP. I left feeling comforted by that. Sean seemed genuine. On Monday, I called my warranty company to see what specifications needed to be met to uphold my warranty. They said that Safelite needed to use Subaru-certified glass. After that, called Safelite to make sure that they could obtain this glass. They said, "Absolutely! Not a problem at all". I called Sean to let him know. He sounded irritated by my phone call, but ultimately said, "whatever we need to do to keep your warranty, we will". He said he hadn't heard back from Safelite for setting up an appointment. I called back today (Tuesday) to see when they could replace the glass because this cracking is making me nervous. It gets bigger every day and I just want this to be over with. When I called today, Sean said, "Safelite has a lifetime warranty on their glass against all chips and cracks - for a lifetime! So you don't even need to worry about upholding your Subaru warranty". That sounded too good to be true, so I called Safelite and the lady laughed at the idea of a free lifetime warranty on cracks and chips. They had no such thing. I called Sean back and told him. He responded, "Look. We're not going to use Subaru glass. You're getting whatever Safelite puts on your car. You're getting a new free windshield! If you don't like that, you can call my district manager!" So I did, and the DM said the same thing. So now I have to go through my warranty company to get my windshield fixed, which will take 3-4 weeks (their soonest appointment is in July) because Monro Auto is being cheap and not restoring my glass to its prior condition, despite Safelite confirming that it's EASILY do-able. I would not recommend this business to anyone. What a shameful experience this has been. read more

I went in without an appointment to have them check the balance on one of my tires and they did a great job! Got me right in. Balanced not just the one I needed but the other front tire as well, and got me back on my way in no time. The manager was very knowledgeable, and great to work with. I would go back for any other tire issues in the future! read more

Do NOT go to the Fairlawn location. They need to get their act together. They're in the business of wasting customers' time. They didn't even show up for an appointment we made with them yesterday, when they weren't prepared. I have a nail in my tire which needs replaced, purchased their warranty, but I'm forced to go elsewhere. read more

I got a flat tire on the highway. I was able to be towed to this Monro. They did everything they could to get me the lowest price, and were very helpful. I always trust Monro and I'm glad this location held up the Monro reputation that keeps me coming back. read more

My daughter took her car in there for oil change and they told her she needed Calipers badly, she took it over to her Ford dealer and they told her the Calipers are fine and that it was the brakes that needed done. But she had the breaks done at Monro mid Jan 2020 and has not been driving due to the stay at home order. Monro if they really changed the breaks use bad or used parts. I think they just ripped off an innocent you lady because they thought they could! read more

The store manager Lydia at this location in Fairlawn displayed the most unprofessional, rude, poor customer service I have ever seen. She treated me, the customer as if I was bothering her by wanting to use their service. She refused to tell me what was wrong with my vehicle , all she wanted to tell me was my price! which was ridiculously overpriced as well. ive had the same service done for half the price at numerous other place. She refused to tell me the cost of the part as well. They charge $125 an hour plus a ton of hidden fees. Other shops charge way less and are much more professional! read more

The employees here are the absolute dumbest I have ever met. Today I went to pick up my car and they had lost the key, the only key in have. The person working didn't know how to get a hold of the manager who conveniently just left. After some searching and calls they discovered the same manager had my key in his pocket when he left. He walked in and handed me the key, didn't apologize, didn't have and excuse. When I told him I would never come back here stayed silent. As a company you obviously do not care about customer service or hiring competent employees. This wasn't the first issue I've had there either, but it will be the last. I guarantee you that. I really wish there was a way to put less than one star. I went to this location as a walk in for a oil change and new air filter. I asked them to see how my breaks were doing while they had my car. They told me the front end looked good but asked if I wanted the rear breaks changed and so I said yes because I knew they were almost metal on metal. Thinking it would be around $250-$300. When I got back to the shop he explained they had a year warranty and my bill was $440 just for that and WITH A COUPON!!!!! I was needing them done badly so I paid the price thinking you know, it was worth it if the work was accurate and flawless. The next day my car was squealing and they had put a piece of hardware on wrong. They fixed it, I left. The next day my car started making all kinds of crazy rattling sounds. I took it back and they said that it was my SUSPENSION and that when you get something fixed on your car another thing usually breaks! At this point I'm thinking... This guy is intentionally BUSTING MY CAR! He asked if I wanted to pay for him to fix it even though he didn't know what it was so I said no! He told me to take it to a DEALERSHIP. Okay... Long story short. I have taken my car my car back THREE TIMES AND TWICE TO THE OTHER MONRO ON WEST MARKET. No one could tell me what it was. They said it was my suspension. I've never had anything wrong with it and it's a newer car! I took my care to two other mechanics and paid $40 for estimates and BOTH said it was not my suspension and that I had MISSING HARDWARE ON MY REAR BREAKS! So I take it back to Monro and they said MY CAR DOES NOT REQUIRE HARDWARE!! My car is STILL not fixed and makes noise because something called "rattle clips" weren't installed and I have to drive with my e-break up so it does not sound like my car is falling apart!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY take your car to the Sunoco gas station repair shop on West Market. UPDATE: So I talked to the guy on West Market, Kevin. He said if I brought it in at 7:30AM this morning he would fix the hardware for me. I just called to see if I could pick up my car because I'm stuck at home and have errands to run. It is currently 1:40 PM, just called. And they haven't touched my car yet. Kevin even said he pulled my car in with intentions of having it fixed but that they started working on a truck and that they would try to get to it....I feel like my customer service is being taken as a joke! I feel like this company just doesn't care at all about the inconvenience I have had to go through. This is the seventh time I've take my car to a Monro in the past TWO MONTHS with the same issue. I feel taken advantage of! I work retail, I'm a store manager! I know how things get sometimes. I'm actually a very patient person and very understanding. This is the worse customer service of any company I have ever had to deal with IN MY WHOLE LIFE! I can not express with words of how incredibly frustrated I am. When I pay $440 for breaks they should be put on correctly the first time! Why pay so much labor to people WHO CANT PERFORM SIMPLE TASKS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB POSITION. Stopped in for a "walk in" oil change and tire alignment. Oil change was about $21 with a $2.25 oil disposal fee. Tire alignment was about $20. Staff was friendly and helpful in explaining the condition of the car. (Insert sales pitch). Job took about 1 hour. read more

I appreciate the fast and friendly service I received on a rainy Friday just a few hours before closing. I am visiting from out of town. My father suggested this place. They knew who my father is, the model of my mother's car and the last trip they took after service. Then, the attendant found a coupon for my oil change. What more could I ask? read more
