I am from out of town and bought the roadside hazard tire service from my local tire store. However, being out of town there is not one near me. I came here in hopes of getting a tire issue resolved. This was pretty much an emergency situation since at the time , I was out of town. The gentleman who I spoke with was blah. I didn't like how he approached my issue at all. I understand they were backed up but to ask me if I could leave my vehicle and they will TRY to get to it. NO SIR! Took my car here to have a nail removed and tire fixed, which they did. I went to a meeting afterward, and two hours later, when I was leaving, my tire was flat. The plug they put in was obviously not done properly, and I was left stranded for a couple of hours. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Every time I call this place and get the manager he's rude and unprofessional. I dropped off a tire to be replaced with the road hazard insurance I bought with the tires. I called to check on the tire and was answered with a tone that seemed to suggest I was inconveniencing the manager. Someone else called me later and told me my new tire was ready. When I picked it up they had another customer's information on my bill, which they explained had no impact on my charges. I paid and brought it home. When I put the tire back on my car and lowered it down on the jack I immediately saw the tire was obviously flat. I put air in it and the tire was leaking through the side wall and I realized they gave me back my old tire after paying $121. They told me the price was based in part due to the wear which was about 50% of the tread. After realizing they gave me back my old damaged tire and putting someone else's name on my bill I quesitoned the measurement for my tire's wear and suggested they may have mixed up my tire with another customer. The manager immediately got belligerent and hostile. They put me to the front of the line and immediately changed the tire, but not after a lot of unprofessionalism and open hostility. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I downloaded this app, just so I could post this review. This was the most complicated and unpleasant buying experience. I went to Mr. Tire on a Wednesday, an associate explained the prices / options, ordered my tires, and made a Friday appointment for me. I showed up on Friday for my appointment to find out my tires were not ordered. The manager apologized, ordered my tires and set a new appointment for Monday. I arrive on Monday, my tires are there, but somehow I was not in the system for an appointment and was told it would be a long wait. I had other things to do during the day, so since my tires were there I rescheduled for Wednesday. I show up on Wednesday, they have my appointment time, but somehow sold my tires to someone else and asked me to reschedule yet again. I have now found a better deal on tires elsewhere, and can't imagine the experience being any worse than Mr. Tire. read more

I scheduled an appointment online midday on 7/8 for an auto repair on 7/9 at 9 am. When I got to the shop on 7/9 the guy I spoke with said there was no appointment in the system. I showed him my confirmation page for the appointment, he argued that if he had a person there to do the repairs he would have called to confirm the appointment with me and that he didn't have anyone there to do the necessary repairs that day. He said I could try Timberlake road or Madison Heights shops. After this experience swore I wouldn't use a Mr. Tire again, but made the mistake of trying to use the Timberlake road branch for an inspection out of convenience and was just as bad (see their review section for that issue). read more

We're a family of four and we flew in from California to Washington DC, drove to Virginia and were on our way down to North Carolina. Our tire popped and we were stranded on the side of the road, calling the rental car company to get a tow truck for us, which never came because it took too long so we ordered a tow from Mitchell's Towing company, recommended by Eric from Mr. Tire when we called them. A state trooper waited over an hour with us by the side of the road until we got a tow and drove us to Mr. Tire to get it fixed. This tire shop closes at 6, so we thought we wouldn't make it. Turns out we get there right at 6 and the people here were so kind, they took the car in, took care of us and had it fixed in 20 minutes. At the end, we asked how much it will be for all this trouble and they told us not a penny, just to leave a good review. Thank you to Eric and his crew for not leaving us stranded and helping us out. My mother cried when they told her they won't accept any payment. Thank you so much for your hospitality. This is something we never get in California so it's incredible to experience. Definitely give this tire shop a visit because they are great people. read more

If I could I would have given them 0 stars. Don't ever trust them, I had a minor issue with Muffler of my car where in I believed it was a little lose and needed a bit of work to get it back in place. However these people said it can't be fixed and gave me a quote of $500 (380$ new Muffler + 120 $s Labor). I was not satisfied and went for a second opinion and to my surprise he fixed the car in a couple of hours and just for a fraction of the total price. read more

I got there for my 2pm appointment time a little early to fix my alignment of my car and they got me in early and found the problem with my alignment even when the machine was saying it was aligned. I was in and out super fast. They are amazing! Highly recommend. read more

Went to Monro Muffler on the Old Forest Road for an Oil Change today. I'm glad they allowed me to bring in my choice of oil. They thoroughly inspected my car and let me know what's good and what's not. They showed me a genuine problem with a wheel shaft which my earlier mechanic was not able to figure out. I called around looking for a good deal on tires and getting an alignment and they were by far the cheapest. Don, the store manager, was great and made it easy to get in and out getting the work done. They offered me discounts on services which made it a lot more affordable compared to big name places like Goodyear and NTB. It is definitely worth giving them a call. Plus, they actually put the price of their tires on their website rather than commercialized places making you give your info to request a quote. Monro definitely makes it easier on the customer. Plus they offer great deals. Call them first, trust me. read more
