With that being said, other than the non-american person who handled my call not being able to set up my appointment reason correctly... this was a totally flawless car repair for me. Josh the manager & his crew fixed my car with multiple problems in one day. Additionally, my rates were even lowered from the estimated cost by 20% You can always tell the overseas person on the phone to put you in direct contact to the store. Went there for an inspection and the guys made a joke asking if I want my "headlights" rotated. Haha funny cuz I'm a girl. Then when I ask for the bathroom "5 bucks" hilarious.Then tells me they can't pass my inspection bc of my illegal tint. Understandable. So I told him my boyfriend knows a guy who will do it another time. He proceeds to say "well I could be your guy but this is your first time here". Basically rubbing it in my face that he COULD do it if he wanted to but he's not MY GUY. Wouldn't have cared if he didn't make it a point that he could do it IF he wanted to. Our car broke down about 10 miles away from this location on a Friday evening as we were coming into town for a visit from Virginia. I talked to Josh at about 9am the next day to see if they could look at it and hopefully get us on the road to return home by Sunday. By noon they had found and installed the needed part which was pretty obscure and had us set to go home. Josh was really friendly, understanding, and even willing to stay a little past closing if we needed it to come and pick up the car. I will never go there again. I went in for my annual inspection, they told me that I needed new back brakes. He said it would cost about $550.00. He 'Failed' my inspection. I went to another location and learned that my brakes and rotors were practically new. I passed with no problems. This location had no cars in their parking lot, now I know why. read more

Today I get some stupid call center with people you can not understand, especially with hearing disability. She refused to connect me with the garage. I needed to talk to them about a particular dilemma I am having with getting a car to them and the procedure for towing a car in. Had my winter tires switched and balanced in hardly a half hour. Reasonable rate for tires. The other reviews sound like people are upset about repairs that they put off and ultimately caused unnecessary harm to their vehicles. Went in to get tire service from Mr Tire and was advised by the manager, there was no one there at the time who could service tires.

Brought my vehicle in first thing one morning, so I could wait for it to be done without having to try and find a ride home. All I needed was a NYS inspection, and they said they couldn't do it they are scheduling for next week. Confused, why I couldn't drop in and get an inspection done, I asked if there were a few people ahead of me, and said I don't mind waiting. They said it's not the case. I asked what if I needed brakes done? They said that's different. I don't see how going in for any particular service is different or should be treated differently. Benefit of the doubt the first time I had poor experience, this time, I am sharing with everyone to see. The people here think they are above you because you NEED their service. Sorry to break it to you fellas, I don't need your service, or poor customer service. I purchase $1000 in tires for my truck yearly here due to how many miles and wear I put on them, as well as tires for my wife, usually regular tires one year and winter tires the next. No more! Skip this place people and go somewhere they appreciate your business. Horrible customer service! It shouldn't be a hassle to inspect a vehicle for 15 minutes. The last inspection I had here, they said they took a tire off to check brakes, don't know how since I didn't provide them with the special key for the locking lug nuts. Do not go to Mr. Tire! They are grossly incompetent. They did work on my car and did a shit work that resulted in my tire almost coming off while I was driving. They charged you for additional services without telling you and they do not honor warranties. They are thieves and care less about their customers and providing quality services and more about their bottom line: making a profit. Anyone I talk to I highly recommend not taking your car to them because they do horrible work, are overpriced, sneak in additional charges and very dishonest. read more

I had my car serviced at Mr. Tire in Nedrow and can't say enough about these guys. They had my car in the garage immediately replaced my rear brakes, changed my oil and rotated the tires all in about a hour. The manager Rob was very friendly and personable. Highly Recommended.... read more

I pulled into Mr. Tire (AKA Kost) to get an inspection. I'm told the brake line to the rear is blown and the front brakes are shot so it wont pass! Quotes a price of $850. They told me they could do the line for $200 in about an hour. 5 hours later they were done! The so called mechanic Shawn also told me my caliper cylinders were froze and he took them off to check them. Not true at all. I pulled the tires to check myself when I got home!!! On the following Monday I took my vehicle to a garage close to where I work and it passed the inspection without any problems. I even told them about what Shawn told me about the front brakes. They told me it passes unless it's metal to metal contact and if the caliper cylinders were froze there would be smoke coming off them. I have my doubts about the break line also. They don't just burst unless you make a hard stop. I asked to look at the time and was told i'm not allowed into the shop! I have been bringing my vehicles there for at least 20 years for tires and inspections. Now the new manager Karl lies to his customers and makes it seem like he's helping them out. If you do decide to go to this location please do yourself a favor and get a second opinion. I did and saved over $650. read more
