What I appreciate is that he gave suggestions on how to shape the tree and was knowledgable on the various types of San Diego plants and trees. My job was not as big as some of his other ones like cutting down palm trees but we did have lots of large over growth from 3 trees in the front, a large honey suckle tree, and 3 large stumps that needed to be taken out. This would have taken me multiple weeks due to my own time constraint and the need to get the right tools. His team did it in 2.5 hours. So it was worth the work needed for a couple hundred spent. What I think was quality was that they cleaned up after, raked the leaves and did a leaf blower that made it all look nicer. They do good work and shaped trees well. I will have him out in the future once more when they grow back.

Mr. Hardy and his son came to the house Saturday and bid the job, plus throwing in a major trim on an adjacent Juniper. All for the same price as the previous job they did for me. The son showed up as scheduled Tuesday (with a helper), and got right to work.The tree was removed without disturbing any other plants in any way. Per my request, the stump was cut level to serve as a pedestal to accommodate a large clay pot with more succulents. The remains of the tree were loaded on the truck, the roof was swept clean, and all of the debris from the job was cleaned up. Another excellent job by Hardy's Tree Service. From the first conversation with Clint, we knew we were in good hands…read more The team at Emma is very professional, skilled and they worked together very well and that was extremely important in the removal of a huge old pine that towered over two homes and a garage appt. The tree was approximately 85 ft tall and 120 ft wide. They did a very amazing job taking down limbs at times having to climb out on a branch when it was out of reach of the cherry picker and over a home to remove the branch in pieces due to the size and location. At the end of each day everything was cleaned up and all debris removed. The last couple of days Emma's owner Rey was on site overseeing the removal of the huge tree trunk. There was a large cherry picker to lift the person with the chainsaw to tie off and cut the section and a large crane on property help move the huge pieces of the tree trunk and load them over a tall hedge and onto a flatbed truck in our neighbor's driveway. It was all a site to see and experience! Our hats off to the team at Emma for the fantastic work they did with a challenging and difficult tree removal. They also removed 2 large pepper trees, then worked to kill the roots. They do great work at and reasonable price, with a thorough clean up afterward. Clint has excellent communication when providing estimates and scheduling. I have also been very impressed with their customer service. During the pepper tree removal, a chunk of bark flew across the yard and cracked a window... a complete freak accident.. they did not even notice it right away. Our house was vacant due to renovations at the time, so I did not notice until a day or 2 later. When I brought it to Rey's attention, he immediately made it right and scheduled the window replacement ASAP.
