I put out a bid request on Yelp and Martin was the only one who actually followed up -- and he did it fast. He showed up on time for the walkthrough, gave us a fair and straightforward quote, and was back two days later exactly when he said he would be. The yard needed serious work. Junk removal time! We did some summer cleaning and had a lot of junk that needed to go. I sent a few requests for estimates. I was hesitant at first because of the business name being "Landscape" but Martin was very responsive and was the only business that was able to come out the same day without charging an arm and a leg. Typically I am not the kind to leave bad reviews. I like to try to give the business the opportunity to make things right. I requested a quote from many different landscaping businesses, I created a project through the Yelp app and added pictures. It's not hard at all to see what the work entailed. I have a very small front lawn, and we have 2 bushes in the back that need periodic trims. Nothing major. Martin insisted he only provides quotes in person, set an appointment, and when he arrived I was upstairs taking care of something. My 11 year old opened the door and there was some miscommunication, my son told me one thing, Martin told me something different but left believing I wasn't home. As soon as I saw his messages I apologized profusely. After all was said and done I asked him if he could provide a quote given that he still came to my property, and was able to see my front lawn. He did not reply. I went with a different company and glad I did, I don't want to even imagine having to work with someone that has an ego that big over a miscommunication/misunderstanding with a child specially when there was a language barrier and my son had trouble understanding what he was saying.
