My Speed Queen washer started leaking. I chose SL since they were local and had a medium price for diagnostics, that was applied toward repair. Andre, service tech, came out on Monday. He was very professional, thorough and explained to me what the issues were. He cleaned up his work area, ordered the parts, said he would contact me when the parts were in. A week later, Sean, office tech called to schedule the repair. The whole project took one week . Andre returned, replaced the parts and went the extra mile and cleaned the area out. He ran a test on the washer, no more leaks. He also checked the dryer and cleaned that out as well. Andre showed me the damaged parts, which impressed me. He was very personable and honest. Overall, Andre and Sean are very polite and accommodating, and I could tell take pride in their work. Then i got an invoice it has a very high cost $2000 repair fee without any reason of the issue and the approach of the repair, not break down, etc. Not professional. I decided to move forward with a repair because the repair part and labor was still more affordable than a new dishwasher. I had this company come out today to fix and not draining and spinning problem. They came out to fix it however after the service was completed. The tech did not want to come back out to fix the leak. Yes they fixed the washing machine issue, but now they don't want to fix the leak that is occurring. They just keep playing games on the phone saying they fixed the original problem but they created another problem that wasn't the issue to begin with a leak. Now they just want to go back and forth with you and say it's common sense. This isn't common sense when your whole laundry room is basically flooded. Be aware of these thefts. read more
