I've been to few Mr.Wish locations but this one is my favorite. They are back from Oct-Mar with their winter special drinks. I usually get the Hot Ginger Milk Tea which is yummy. My sister decided to try the Hot Ginger Kumquat tea and it was delicious too! The fruit drinks are good too. One of my favorite places to go for a cool drink in the summer and hot a drink in the winter! I always call up to pre order and the service is always quick. Love this place!

The drinks in this shop are the most similar to Taiwanese tea drinks we found in New York! The quality control is very good, because the boss and his wife take turns to help in the shop every day. The whole team is very nice. This simple and tidy shop is very popular among the residents of Great Neck! We almost come here everyday if we are in the town, we love this tea drinks shop !

There are so many bubble tea spots in the area. This is one of the better ones. I wouldn't say there is anything amazing about it. My favorite did close. The prices are typical for the area. They really need to update the inside. The furniture is falling apart. The flavors are good but I would prefer to know there would be fruit pieces in my tea. I hate that but that's just my opinion. The drink itself is good.

Ok, I 'thought' I have had bubble tea in the past... but turns out I never had anything authentic. Having just finished a late lunch, my little guy wanted boba, so Yelp to the rescue and here we are. After today. I can say I've had 'for real' boba. Real fruits. Delicious. The place is small, and hopping. Crowded on a late Sunday afternoon. I was so lost, so confused. Dairy, non-dairy, caffeine or non, smoothies, sodas, oh my! You should go here with someone who knows what they are doing. I had to ask a pack a teenagers behind me what's what. They were happy to share what they knew.

Hot Oolong milk tea with 30% sugar that taste like rice water with tea

My husband ordered a hot oolong milk tea with 30% sugar and it tastes like oolong milk tea with rice water. After I called to tell the store that it tastes like rice water instead of milk, they impatiently claimed that it is impossible. Therefore I went to to the store and asked the Mr. Impossible to try the rice water drink to proof that it was a drink that they messed up. Basically they yelled at me and said they've been making the tea for 10 years and it is impossible for them to messed up. Then they questioned if I have ever have a oolong milk tea before. They showed me the milk and even questioned if I've ever tried Lactaid. They even accusing my husband was watching them making the tea and poured the milk. Of course my husband didn't pay attention if they used the milk. They got so aggervated, raising volume, and non stop yelling at me (a paying customer who spent money and got a messed up beverage) I said why don't you try the drink since I brought it back as you claimed it was impossible to mess up the drink. At the end they angrily picked up a few bills from the cashier and slapped it on the counter and asked me to take the money. I said I didn't return for $6, I came for an apology. There was no apologies, only aggressive yelling at customer service, and never admit the drink was bad. I left telling them their service is horrible as I walked out the door hearing them calling me an evil customer. I should have got my refund since I only took one sip of the rice water oolong tea. I will not go back to the store.

Only four stars because they should've been more clear that certain ingredients were missing so they can't make a drink. Besides that part, I liked their service and how speedy they were with making the drinks. They made suggestions on how much sugar and ice to put in the drink so it'll taste great. I also, tried their custard bread shaped like a dog's paw. That was good because it had just enough custard stuffed inside. There's seating inside or you can take it to go. Whatever you prefer?! There's also a restroom for paying customers too.

They have a large selection of milk teas (milk teas, tiger milk teas) and fruit teas/drinks. Sorbets too! You can do black or green tea. Adding topping are a fun must. Bobas, chia, jelly, aloe, sago, pudding, beans and more!!! The Passion fruit green tea was refreshing! Added aloe for a twist. If you want a snack, the little paw shaped waffle cakes were yummy! We got the ones with custard. Sold in a set of 4. Been back twice and wanting to come back again!

My brother first introduced me to Mr. Wish when we were in Jersey & Philly and ever since, I've been going to this Great Neck location. Their wow milk tea has this distinctive taste similar to Gong Cha but better imo and my kids really love their custard waffle cake. I love getting their hot milk tea during the cold winter days. The couple (owners) & staff working there are super nice and service is usually quick. I always order through the Uber Eats app for pickup. Parking can be difficult because it is next to a LIRR stop. However, there are metered and some loading spaces nearby. Pricing is consistent with all the other bubble tea spots but Mr. Wish's Taiwanese tea taste is definitely a refreshing change. They also have a variety of exotic fruit teas too. This goes into my top 5 bubble tea places in New York.

My fave Mr Wish in the country, along with the Houston one, and it has been for a very very Long time, as in Long Island time. I used to come to this Mr Wish when it was located over in Downtown Flushing and was just a very very very very friendly service window in the heart of the bustly of Asian NYC. They would keep my drinks cold for me in the fridge and whip up some of the best stuff imaginable for me, always with the friendliest attitude you can get. Then the high rents, awful NYC policies that crush so many family businesses, and shark-like property owners of Flushing forced them to seek sanctuary outside the City, so they moved outside Queens... but only just outside, to Great Neck, the first town you encounter when you eat East from the Queens borough line. Probably the best Boba shop I've been to in the greater New York City area, and definitely the best on Long Island by a mile. The products are spectacular. and the people running the store are wonderful. Some of the most best Bobapeople I've met. Mr. Wish has some of the best products out there and this is my joint fave location in the whole world, so you have to try it. Though Philly is the epicentre of WishUSA, Great Neck perfects the products and then some. I don't even like fruit tea usually (too chemical-sweet or too lame), but at Mr Wish? I'm all over it. There are just so many amazing things on the menu of Mr. Wish that I don't know where to start. They probably have a larger number of truly excellent drinks than anyone else. They particularly excel at the fruit drinks although their wow milk tea is absolutely WOW as well. Mr Wish standouts: Apple Black Tea, Passion Fruit Fiber Jelly w/Black tea, Orange Grapefruit Fiber Jelly w/Black Tea, Wish Special Fruit Tea, Berry w/Black tea, Wow Milk Tea. Part of the reason their fruity drinks are so good is that they use real fruit and so the taste is just magnificent whether it's the apple or the passion fruit or the mixed fruit or so many others. The Peach and some other drinks are not as good as those amazing choices. My fave location is in Flushing, and it closed down as I said, but has moved to Great Neck and is as spectacular ever. You must try this location (close to Queens, on Long Island) to see why this chain is the gold standard of fruit teas and one of the best boba franchises in the world. You could call me a bubble tea junkie And I know that some Boba tastes funky But Mr Wish is so dreamy That each night you should see me Drinking it while I spank my monkey.

We stopped by here while passing through town and ended up getting a wild berries tea, a lychee tea with fresh pulp and an order of original waffle cakes. Drinks were good and priced right along with most bubble tea places and had a good amount of pulp in them. The waffle cakes were nice and warm and moist. I could've eaten another 6 orders. The place was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it though.

Very interesting bubble tea. The store advertises that it is the #1 bubble tea brand in Taiwan, not sure how true that is but I really enjoyed the passion fruit fiber tea with 50% less sugar: aiyu jelly, chia seeds and lychee jelly, passion fruit tea and passion fruit bits. I also tried the mango layer cake. Both excellent!

I had gone to the one in Flushing, NY, and was glad that one branch finally opened in my neighborhood. Fruity delicious smoothies are the best here! The fruit smoothies made with real diced fruits, very delicious! The store is pretty warm, so I would buy the drink to go! It's good addition to the town! read more

This is probably the best bubble tea place around the neck of the woods, Great Neck. First the establishment looks and is extremely clean and inviting. The proprietors are very knowledgeable about their drinks, and will go into great detail explaining their offering to novices of Bubble Tea. I witnessed that while I was there, and it was evident that they took great pride in what they serve. Their drink offerings are plenty, and there is something for everyone. Great selection with choice of Hot or Cold. Their tapioca bubbles are cooked for an hour and a half, and they use NO POWDER at all. You can specify how sweet you want your drink by indicating Full sweet, 60% , 30% or just no sweetener at all. It's worth your time! My personal favorite is Hot ginger kumquat tea! read more

If you're in a rush or don't have time to make it to the bubble tea shops in the Flushing area, this is the place to go! Located on Middle Neck road, this place conveniently has parking in the back of the store as well as street parking in the front. Some seating is available and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Menu is chock full of drinks and is probably the best place to get bubble tea in town. And yes, they accept credit card which was a plus! I got a Large Red Bean Milk Tea with less ice & sugar: a little over $5 after tax and it was awesome! My wife loves this place compare to all the other bubble tea in the great neck area. We stop by here so often that my daughter jokes that Mr Wish is my wife's best friend. Staffs are friendly, makes great recommendation and the selections excellent. read more

Definitely one of the better bubble tea spots in town. If you can't get a parking spot in front there's a large parking lot around back. There's an entrance from the back so it's just as convenient. Everyone is always friendly when I come. I always get the same thing...passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly and it's always good. I think they use the real fruit syrup because there's always the seeds in my drink. You can customize how much sugar and ice you want in it so there's a drink for everyone. My husband always gets his drink with tapioca and they're always nice and chewy. read more

My absolute FAVORITE bubble tea spot!! This is the only place I will ever go to in great neck to get my bubble tea fix. I'll start off by saying that I'm an avid bubble tea drinker. I am so happy that Mr. Wish is in the area, I actually drive out of my way to get it as often as I can. The tea is so fresh and "clean"-tasting, it tastes like real substances and not like it was made with powder and water an hour before. I always only get the pearl milk tea, but if you're not a fan of milk, the mango smoothie is an AMAZING choice as well. The man and woman who own this place are quite honestly some of the most friendly store-owners I've ever met. They're always working, so if you come here often you definitely know them as well. I highly recommend trying out this place for the milk tea or mango smoothie, you won't regret it! read more

I drive a little out of the way just for Mr. Wish! Their fruit tea, sherberts, and milk teas are so good and high quality! I've dried dozens of boba tea places in several states and this is definitely among the top of the top! Plus-- the worker at the register is so polite and nice. Explained everything with a smile. This is literally my favorite drinks place in the world and I've been around to some great bible tea places, such as Toronto, Vancouver, SF and LA (not HK or Taiwan yet)! Their teas, I've tried most, are delicious. It is obvious if you visit - they use fresh ingredients (organic milk, real fruit, etc.). This is key. None of the powdered stuff you get for $2. Some of the must tried are the smoothies (mango, kiwi, etc) - all real fruit. Their carbonated drinks are also delicious and refreshing. Their special and fruity tea are also a delight, filled with chopped fruit. Make sure to get less sugar if you don't like it too sweet like me. They also have a pretty standard reward system, which is great as it knocks down significantly over time. The owners are absolutely great. They generally run the shop. Since it's their business they make very good effort. See random customers come in and owners just start making order because they recognize them as regulars. 5 star through and through. read more

The classic milk tea with pearls I got here was hands-down one of the best bubble-teas that I've ever gotten. Best bubble tea ever! Me and my boyfriend went on a Saturday and liked it so much we came back Sunday. The best part is the drinks contain fresh fruit. We got the colorful fruit tea and wish special tea the first time around and on Sunday strawberry sherbet. The owners are also very nice and helpful. We were greeted first thing when we walked in the door with a giant smile. We will definitely come back for these refreshing bubble teas. read more

Came here for first time with high expectations due to yelp reviews l. We ordered match milk tea with bubbles. It wasn't good in any way. I feel like most of these reviews are fake at this point. Regular sugar felt like barely any sugar. The tapioca bubbles were the worst I've ever had for any bubble tea place. They were weak in the ability to the chewed and dissolved too easily in addition to not keeping their shape. Not coming back here again not even if the tea was given to me for free. The first thing you see when you walk into the store is the owner with a huge cheshire cat grin across his face. It's one of those genuine uncomfortable grins that can't help but make you think, "Damn, he looks super happy!" Service was impeccable. I think the owners are husband and wife, and it's pretty adorable how they're trying super hard to give you the best service they can give. This is what service is supposed to be like. Drinks: Huge variety of cold and hot drinks. They can make the drinks warm too if you don't like your drink too hot. I purchased the hot Apple Tea with apple pieces and the tea was authentic. The apple pieces were a bit on the sweeter side. I would come here just to give them business because they seem passionate about customer service, their business, and just loving what they do. read more

This is a great new bubble tea location and is far superior to vivi bubble tea which is right down the block. The staff are extremely friendly and are always willing to assist with your order. I ordered the pearl milk tea and the quality was far superior to the bubble tea in any place around Great Neck. Their secret is a hint of brown sugar in each drink, which blends very nicely. Overall, the prices are fair and the interior is very inviting and clean. I hope to come again soon and try the passion fruit tea as this is supposed to be a very popular beverage that they serve. Was really craving some boba on the Fourth. My usual spot GongCha was closed and so I figured I would try a new place. I had the Tiger something and it was surprisingly good. The tapioca pearls warmed my insides. The place was small and had a urban vibe to it, but was pretty dull. No music, no chit chat, pretty sparse. BUT there were a bunch of people there and the product was good. I found my new backup boba! read more

Love, love, love this place! I was skeptical at first since I'm a little distrustful at bubble tea places outside of flushing or any Asian centers. Well, they proved me wrong. Their tea base is fantastic and made fresh (you can taste the difference) and I try very hard to order different items on the menu to try. But I keep going back to my favorite grapefruit pulp tea. Having Mr Wish is a treat for us since we don't usually live nearby there and have to drive a few miles. But it's totally worth the trip and I'm totally sold on their teas. Don't know what that negative Nancy review is about, I think dude went to the wrong place or he doesn't know what he ordered. In any event, my daughter and I crave this in our sleep. read more

My name is Ashley, and I am addicted to bubble tea. That being said, I've had bubble tea from pretty much everywhere in NYC many times. Mr. Wish is different from bubble tea places, where they use fresh fruits unlike the overly sweet powder mixes like other places. Fresh fruit = delicious flavor. The employees at the great neck location are very enthusiastic about what they do, and are certainly helpful if you're indecisive or unsure about what to get. They have a small seating area, and a bathroom. This makes it a nice place to sit back, relax with your tea and do a little reading or work. read more

Have experienced very rude customer service here on multiple occasions, and it seems like the tea quality is going down. I got only 5 pieces of pulp in my last LARGE peach pulp tea, which also tasted way more watery than normal... I was confused. Used to like getting it as a mid day pick me up, but now it's just disappointing!! read more

Love this place. Own by taiwanese people, the owner is super nice. I order fro, this place almost once a week. They take the order very fast and I always order grapefruit green tea. The grapefruit is fresh not those fake powder one. Is real fresh fruit inside and love the tea there. Will keep ordering from here. read more

This is for their wow! milk tea. Definitely wowed by how horrible it was. Legit the worst milk tea I have ever had. It was really watery, minimal tea flavor. Boba was hard in the center. I had to throw it away after a few sips. Perhaps it's my fault for ordering the milk tea at a place that seems more known for their fruit based teas...but also, how can a tea shop have such bad milk tea?! read more
