Ordered a medium gluten free pizza last night. It cost $33 plus tip and was horrible. The crust was hard and chewy with hardly any toppings. I would have expected much more for that price. Have had wonderful GF pizza in the past. And the worst part is that it must have been bathed in flour because I feel horrible today. I've found Mr. Jim's pizza to be better than say Papa John's or Pizza Hut, or most other places that sell pizza pies in Cheyenne. I like that I can order a triple pepperoni and they'll cover the pizza with pepperoni. When I eat a pizza I want to be able to taste the crust, the sauce, the cheese, and my pepperoni topping. Mr. Jims needs to be just a little more generous with the sauce as I can't taste it and usually can't see it either. You can't produce a 5 star pizza without the proper super high temperature oven. Most of these places have those ovens where you put the uncooked pie in one end and it spits out a cooked pizza at the other end. Those ovens don't produce great pizzas. If Mr. Jims wanted 5 stars he'd absolutely need to change out his dime a dozen ovens for some ovens that produce wonderful delicious pizzas. Service is quick, we always pick ours up and it's ready when it's supposed to be... actually a little earlier. Mr. Jims has two stores in town. One you can sit down and eat in, the other you can't. Mr. Jims serves some of the best pizza in this town, but it has a lot of room for improvement. read more

I can't believe I'm putting this negative review here but the last pie I got, from just today actually, was so disappointing. I made the order online so I could receive the special discount and set a pick up time for 5:30 since it wouldn't let me schedule it for an earlier time since I was driving thru Cheyenne. I was 45 minutes before Cheyenne and got to the store at 5:15 and they didn't even start on the two pizzas I ordered at 4:28. The young lady at the counter was confused and told me they'll start on it right away. I was annoyed because I wanted to just pick up my order and hit the road instead of waiting another 20 minutes. The sticky fingers looked terrible! Below par from what they usually looked like. The other pizza was just a medium sausage. I watched the young kid make my pizza and it seemed like he was frantically throwing on the toppings. I ordered a pizza to be delivered. I told the person I talked to twice my address. After being 40 minutes late, I noticed a delivery fee. When I asked the driver how the fee was divided up and she told me that she got part of the fee as her tip from me. This I was told after I already asked if a three dollar tip would be good, and she told me yes. So she got my tip twice and gave me my greasy cold pizza. My wife and I both got diarrhea after eating the pizza. NEVER will l get anything from them again. They are dead to me. Wow. Mr. Jim has got ahold of something outstanding. I ordered the Sticky Fingers (supreme) and it was awesome. The crust is medium-thick, airy, and has a buttery crunch on the edges like a Pizza Hut pan pizza. The difference is Mr. Jim's is not drowning in grease. The pizza, for all its toppings and cheese was surprisingly light and refreshing. Fresh mushrooms were springy, green peppers still had snap. The sauce was great too, I think I'll ask for extra next time. It is in the tradition of sweet pizza sauces, but wasn't overly sweet and had a terrific lightness and zest. After a couple slices, the mellow spiciness of the sauce came out and it lingered nicely, perfectly balanced against the tomatoes and cheese. A large pizza cost about $12.50 after using an offer code from their website; great value. I didn't encounter any service issues on my visit, and found the order hot and ready to go when they said it would be. Counter staff were prompt and friendly. I'll definitely be back. read more

Got burned by another pizza place in town during my unexpected visit to Cheyenne and tried this one instead. I should have gone with Mr. Jim's right away. Got the Beddar Cheddar Burger for myself and my family with a few sides. The chicken didn't blow me away but I didn't even mind because I was all about this pizza. On a day when everything seemed to be messing up and going wrong I was so pleased that ordering from this place was not one of those things. They quoted me a high delivery time but got here faster than their quote by far, pizza was piping hot, and I didn't consider the price to be crazy. Being from the East Coast and only recently relocated here, I am always on the hunt for authentic food, whether it's pizza, Chinese or Indian food; but Mr. Jim's hits the spot. The crust is delicious, I have to be careful I don't order this too often. I don't want to grow tired of it since there really aren't many GOOD pizza places in Cheyenne. I try to limit my orders to once a month. The variety of toppings is impressive, the calzones are HUGE and what great prices! The pizza is great but I must have been wearing my invisible coat or something. I ordered ahead and had to go in and pay. So I walked in and stood at the front for a good 5 minutes before someone even spoke to me. There were three or four people working that were all at the front area discussing who was going to take out pizza's to the other's mom. Finally an older lady came around the corner and checked me out and gave me my pizza. She didn't apologize for the wait or anything just checked me out and walked away. If you go thin crust, you will be very happy. The original stretched is good, but hooo-boy can it wallop you with some greasy goodness. I'm a fan of their Sticky Fingers pizza with jalapeños instead of black olives. They really load on the toppings, but not so much that it makes a soggy mess. For two-toppers, pepperoni and meatballs is a good combo. Don't go extra pepp though. I did mention the grease, right? The last one really worth mentioning is the Nacho Stix. It's great because it's not "Italian," so you can appease the person in the group who wanted Mexican over pizza. Then you can double-cross them and eat all the Nacho Stix before they get a second helping. It's that good. Their chicken wings are ok, but not super crispy. The skin slides off a bit. Ultimately I wish Mr. Jim's had a location on the East side of town; rumor has it that's going to happen. Be sure to order online as they have awesome deals. Wow this Pizza is AMAZING! We decided to swing in on our way home from Colorado and I'm so glad we did! The pizza was hot and fresh and way better than the usual fast food pizza!! I've never had Mr Jims pizza, so I thought I would give it a try, ordered a fajita chicken pizza and a toasted meatball sub, the medium pizza I received was on the smaller side compared to other pizza joints, but I figured maybe it made up for it in taste - opening the box I noticed that I got a pepperoni pizza instead, talked to the driver and he said to call the manager. I read a few other reviews that said they have a habit of getting orders wrong, welp yelpers I'm afraid its true... anyway I was so hungry that I decided to eat what I had, instead of waiting another 35 minutes to possible get another wrong pizza. The first thing I noticed is that the pizza was 30% crust ring, I like crust as much as the next guy, but come on now... Your pizza's are smaller than the competitors to begin with, but you have the nerve to scale back on the ingredients? Not being happy with the pizza, I decided to try the meatball sub, it was toasty as advertised, but I guess there was a shortage of marinara sauce because I sure didn't get any on my sandwich, and the meatballs were packed in the center, I guess it's too difficult to space them out to the ends of the bun... all in all, I would say my first time trying Mr. Jims pizza was not a good experience, I doubt I will ever buy another, just too many better options out there for the same price. read more

Finally a place that sells gluten free pizza! I was so stoked to see this place offered a gluten free option for the crust.
