I looked on yelp before going and there were very few pictures of the interior and the ones I did see I couldn't really tell how the place was internally but it was very pretty. There were many paintings, photos, sconces, and other decor to look at through out the restaurant and the table itself was visually appealing. The staff was very kind and worked well together with multiple people doing tasks together which made the service even better. Our serve was Sydney and she was so wonderful she was kind, funny, helpful, and a very sociable server. We got the Calamari as an appetizer and it was in a stick form as opposed to the typical round shape. The calamari was thick which threw off the ratio they almost needed a bit more breading but the flavor was amazing and the sauce that came with them was impeccable. We were under the pressure the manager/owner was there because there was someone who had mentioned something along the lines of it being her restaurant and we got to interact with a variety of different employees who were working together. I got the tour of Italy although I did sub the chicken parmesan for spaghetti with a meatball on the side which was incredible and it was amazing that they were able to do a substitution like that. The fettuccine Alfredo was the best I've ever had, the noodles were well cooked, the sauce was amazing the texture of the sauce was rich and smooth. Their garlic rolls were amazing both texture and flavor wise. We took home dessert the Limoncello cake as well as the Tiramisu and while I can't speak for the cake since I didn't have any the tiramisu was wonderful, the filling was light and rich and the lady fingers weren't soggy but held a lot of liquid. The location is cute, in downtown Cheyenne. The inside ambiance was dark, felt very outdated- but had white linens and was nice enough. The waiter was friendly, and we ate outside, after a rainstorm. He checked on us frequently which was nice. The food was mediocre. Keep in mind, I'm a NYer who LOVES Italian food. It wasn't terrible, just wasn't that impressive. Maybe for the area. The bread rolls were pretty good, nice dense and chewy. The Mozz sticks were def frozen. The chicken piccata wasn't anything to write home about. 2 stars. The eggplant parm was 3-4 stars? It was aiight. The bathroom was out of order so I was directed to another bathroom- in the hallway/communal space, and it was so dirty. The stairs looked like they haven't been vacuumed in ages. They also had 1 out of the 2 stalls out of order. Overall, not terrible but not great. We ate, we were full, did the job and we didn't get sick so win win. The price was a bit high for the quality but there was a lot of food and we took some to-go. Our Cheyenne hosts chose Napoli's as their favorite restaurant, and Trim as their favorite waiter, and it was a really nice, really tasty, really well-serviced spot. It's a large corner dining spot, with plenty of seating. It had a charming, traditional feel, but once we served the delicious complimentary rolls, we were ready! We ordered a "the works" spaghetti, including meatballs, sausage with marinara sauce, I ordered the eggplant and it had a nicely breaded and cheesed eggplant, topping a full plate of spaghetti in marinara. It was the kind of "red sauce" italian spot that serves all of the standards, but the prcies were very reasonable compared to SF, the service was great, and because we were with friends, it was a great evening meal. read more

Your bartender and cook should both be out of a job: especially the bartender who verbally harassed my mother as she was explaining about a dinky piece of fish.....my father tried to get her attention and talk to your bartender who (as kids in schools these days call it) rage bated my father (again, just finished his last test dealing with cancer) and caused a scene for herself in the room. At that moment my parents were shocked and I felt threatened by the behavior. I then saw a teenager who was a cook stomp off and cause a scene to the front of your restaurant. That same teenager comes back and said to never speak to the bartender again. I did not come to a restaurant to get into a typical aggressive situation I have been told happens a lot in this state. I can see why.... I left because I have never seen behavior like that ever in my life. This behavior from your teenage cook who honestly seemed confused and intimidated and frustrated, and the behavior of your bartender who appeared unprofessional and quite scary, caused me to walk out. There was no way in hell an educated professional like myself was going to stick around such juvenile, out of control behavior. My parents were kind enough to stay until the food was packaged. So delicious! We didn't have reservation and the staff was able to accommodate even with a full restaurant. The place was located in the lobby of an old hotel so there was so much charm to the place. There was a lot parking as well. Bread was brought to our table immediately as well as all of the drinks. The food I had was delicious all the way to the soup (broth). The restaurant sits in downtown Cheyenne, which is itself a charming city. Fancy, but not pretentious, a relaxed take on an Italian fine dining experience. The service was quick and attentive throughout. The bread was fantastic! Light fluffy Italian bread with notes of garlic. I ordered the chicken piccata, which was a bit too heavy on the lemon and slightly runny, I would recommend a different dish, but there are plenty of options that looked great! The service was pretty fast as it was a late week night. The restaurant has a classy romantic ambiance with beautiful decor and lighting. I had a Bellini to start and an eggplant parm and salad. The staff was friendly. -Free Bread...warm, fluffy, buttery rolls to calm your tummy growls before your food arrives. -Robust wine selection...the $30 bottle of True Grit is delicious! -$16 Napoli's Special pasta...penne pasta with sausage, ham, chicken, olives, all doused in a delightful lightly creamy pink sauce...devine! -$15 Gnocchi Al Pesto...light fluffy potato pasta dumplings in a light creamy pesto sauces...yum! A craving for lasagna led us to this place! What a gem it turned out to be. We were greeted very warmly by the hostess who gave us a seat by a window facing beautiful downtown Cheyenne. Our server Tori brought us water and some amazing dinner rolls. She said that they are made fresh every morning and it was definitely evident by their scrumptious taste. We put some butter in the middle and then made an oil & vinegar dip for it...so good! I ordered a pasta sampler (lasagna, manicotti, and ravioli) and my husband asked for lasagna. Tori asked if we wanted a salad and we felt like it would be too much food. She suggested sharing the salad since they were so large. We said yes and are glad. It was a nice mix of greens with shredded carrots and tomato wedges. The ranch dressing with the added fresh ground pepper made it the perfect accompaniment. Both of our dishes were so hearty and filling. What I couldn't finish, my hubby took care of it. You just didn't want to stop. We used our fresh bread to sop up any remaining sauce. Serving sizes were perfect they offer water along with other drinks, fresh bread is brought to the table almost immediately after sitting down so the service is fast and reliable. I had the shrimp fettuccini Alfredo at $20 with tax and it's in the top three of the worst I've ever had. It was maaaybe a handful of noodles in an Alfredo soup. The Alfredo had barely any flavor and I needed a spoon. Had I not walked a ways to get it I would have brought it back and got my money back. Very disappointed for the high recommendation. An evening at Napoli's is among the best dining experiences Cheyenne has to offer. The food here carries the flavors and indulgence of fine dining, however, the portion sizes are all home cooking. You'll leave full and immensely satisfied. Some of the standouts I've tried are the Napoli's Special, Tour of Italy, and Chicken Alfredo. Their mixed drink specials are also excellent and refreshingly different. Furthermore, the prices are well worth the quality.
