It was shared with me that the COO would come with the bike. This is where Dave came into the picture. Right, Wrong, or Indifferent, Dave has a huge ego/chip that comes across extremely disrespectful from a customer standpoint. I stated if the bike doesn't have a COO, I will bring the bike back for a refund. Dave's response, 'Well bring it back". Two minute later Cayle calls me back and stated he will get the COO. Approximately 10 days later, the dealership obtained the COO and processed the bike in a manner it should have been from the start. Cayle was great!!! Dave on the other hand is the reason for this rating. If this dealership has the only part in the world for my bike, I would park the bike or sell it for part, before I go back in there. 100% because of Dave's ego and disrespectful manner. Thank you Cayle for what you did, and my opinion/rating doesn't reflect you what so ever. Looking through the reviews, I am sure that there will be a response, "there are two sides to every story" to cover up for ownership and accountability for Dave's actions. This is going to be long because I want to be fair and detailed. I went in to have a few things…read moredone on my '07 Ducati S4RS and it took an excessive amount of time by anyones standards. Especially considering that Brian(Kundratic) was taking in other bikes and completing jobs on them while I was still waiting around. This was a project I had been planning for a year and I was pretty patient, but 4 months for a paint job, powder coat, ruined fender, and rear sprocket/frame slider install is ridiculous. It wouldn't have been so bad if I had not seen other bikes getting done while I waited and if Brian didn't have such a terrible attitude towards getting anything done on time and getting good workout out of his paint subcontractor. For the $5k I spent here I had to go somewhere else to have some of their work corrected. I'll explain my experience with each of the things I had done below. Paint job: Paint job seemed pretty pricey @ $2,200 for tank and front/rear fender. (2 colors, 2 black numbers, and some pinstriping on a sportbike. Also had 2 decals put on the gas tank) Paint came back wrong TWICE. First time there was red that bled under a pinstripe into a white field, second was bubbles under a decal. The bubbles could have been there when the paint work came back the first time but Im not sure. Either way 2 issues that the painter should have caught before returning the work. Brian doesn't do the paint work himself and he sent it back the first time. It came back a month later with bubbles under one of the decals, the one on the other side of the gas tank looked fine but I was told by Brian's painter up in PA (skip something) "we don't warranty decals provided by the customer". My question is if you see an issue why wouldn't you tell me so I can get new decals to you instead of producing a shit product and blaming the customer? Through all this back and forth Brian was more concerned about Skip being upset than with me getting a good paint job. I had to go to another painter to fix this a-hole painters work. (He deserves that description based on my email conversations with him) Rear fender: This will be hard to explain without pictures but suffice it to say this could have been done MUCH better. I had a rear fender for a Ducati sport classic 1000 that I wanted to have cut to fit snugly around the tail end of the seat the way the S4RS OEM rear fender does. I could have done this myself but figured why not have Kundratic do it as they are doing everything else. Brian ended up making the cut too wide and left a .5" gap between the seat and the fender. When I asked him about it he just said "I can fix it, its just time" explaining that he could fill in the gaps with fiberglass but he would charge me for the time. If he hadnt messed up the template and cut it too wide in the first place it wouldnt need to be fixed!! Powder coat: I needed to have each side of the engine cases powder coated black which obviously required removing them and replacing the seals and gaskets when the powder coated pieces were reinstalled. Instead of ordering the parts himself, I had to order them from Pete's Cycle. (The other shops I went to for repairs said they would have ordered the parts themselves as that is part of their service) the powdercoat job was fine and the reinstall was done well. But the attitude in getting the work done and the speed at which it went sucked NET NET: I had to dispute several charges with my credit card company over 2 months to cover the cost of paint repair and to get compensation for the ruined fender. For a bad attitude, slow work, and no concern as to whether not the customer is treated right, or to turn a dream project into a nightmare, go to Kundratic Kustoms!

I made my purchase on a friday and still hadnt received a confirmation email by monday, so I decided to call them and ask for an update. They informed me my order would ship the next day when the sprocket order arrived. Tuesday came along and still no email or tracking. By wednesday, I called again. Steve informed me that the sprocket order came in a day late and also the front sprocket I ordered was not in the order and I would have to wait 3 weeks for it to come in. Its as if he didnt even know what products he would be receiving. He made a suggestion to switch the gear ratio from 24t front 55t rear to 25t front and 56t rear which they had both in stock. The rpm difference was only about 50 which was fine so I said ship me those. Waited for my confirmation email and tracking the rest of the day wednesday and still nothing. I called AGAIN thursday asking what the heck was going on? They simply stated they werent sure how I wanted the items to be shipped so they waited for me to answer their emails which for some reason I wasnt receiving. Finally I was fed up and suggested that they pay for expedited shipping of my items, and when I suggested it, the woman who I spoke with said she would have to ask her manager. She called back and said that expedited 2 day shipping from Maryland to southern california would be approximately $70. She said I could pay it and it would get there by saturday but didnt offer to cover it for all of the mistakes and issues I had been experiencing. I told her she needs to go back to her manager and try to help me out. She called me back AGAIN 10 minutes before they closed on thursday saying it would be approximately $100 to overnight my package to me and that if I paid the $70 for the expedited cost, they would "eat the remaining cost" as if paying for 30% of the shipping cost that I shouldnt have had to pay in the first place was going to make up for all of the wrong they have done by me the customer. I was fed up and finally told the woman to just ship it standard free the way they promised on their site and understood that it would get there when it got there. I verbalized to her how upset I was and how wrong this was and all she could say to me was "thanks for being understanding and patient." All in all, customer service was a 0/5 stars but unfortunately I have to give them at least 1 star on yelp.

John was straight forward from the beginning gave me a ballpark of what I would pay and things I would need to expect and how much time it would take. Also my parking brake is old so I had it towed over night to the location because it was stuck closed and John disengaged the parking brake for me for free. Bike runs awesome went in feeling like a trash can on wheels and left riding like a new bike. I will bring my bike back for major repairs they gained a customer and I will tell anyone about them and recommend them to these guys.

After getting the bike home, I immediately noticed major issues -- it now runs terribly, stalls frequently, and the ride is no longer smooth. This was not the case before I brought it in. While I'd like to believe this wasn't intentional, it's hard to ignore the timing. The staff seemed friendly and provided decent customer service, but that doesn't change the fact that my bike went from working perfectly to running poorly right after their service. I will be contacting Ducati Corporation to file a formal complaint. If my concerns are validated, I will have nothing positive to say about Bob's Ducati going forward.

And what's more, because I had told Yale on the phone that my primary concern was seat height, he had already researched seat heights on multiple makes and models (not just BMWs or Ducatis) for me. Over the course of my purchasing experience, I got to know multiple people at Bob's - Yale, Amy, Jim, Lorrie... I could have purchased this bike at any number of dealers... I chose Bob's because I felt like I was home. I was able to get a lock for my bike, which was my motive for going to the store.
